I waited a day to write this review and I'm glad I did because we ended up having a second issue they needed to come for. This company is so helpful and they were able to come out the same day of my second plumbing issue! My husband and I bought a home and it is a fixer upper so we've been discovering issues daily. They first came to lol at our hot water heater and toilet.

The great thing about them is you are given options for how to fix the problem with different pricing. It made sense to us to replace the hot water heater, making sure it was up to code, and toilet. Once we gave they okay, they were able to get the parts and begin, no waiting around! On the second day, the guy came to look at a valve under our kitchen sink because Home Depot refused to install our new dishwasher without getting it fixed.

He identified the small issues needed to fix this and was done within an hour. I will be recommending this company to anyone looking for immediate and high quality service. Thank you for helping us out! Your company is a lifesaver.

I had called over the weekend due to a few minor issues; the office contacted me first thing on Monday to schedule someone for that morning. The technician arrived and promptly got to work, explaining what was needed to fix the toilet leak and noisy disposal. He fixed both, replacing the disposal that was under warranty and made sure everything was cleaned up and working correctly. I appreciated his considerate and thoughtful work. I highly recommend Coast Plumbing; I can trust them to do quality, affordable work.

My master bathroom sink was clogged (not draining at all) so I called Coast & they had a plumber out within a couple hours. He unclogged the drain within a few minutes! We have used Coast several times over the past 3-5 years and they have always been swift to come out & resolve the issue at a fair price. Definitely recommend!

Major leak near water meter. We had to shut off our water. Coast provided service within 3 hours of our call, sawed through a root to get to the pipe and made the repair, ensuring appropriate water pressure to the house.

Our family has used Coast for over five years, and I can't imagine that we would ever call anyone else for a plumbing problem. Every single one of their employees have been professional, and thorough. Their work has always been done correctly the first time, and they never tried to gouge us when we had a couple of complicated plumbing problems.

Coast is just a really pleasant, dependable company to work with, which is so nice to have when you're in the middle of a mechanical crisis in your home. I recommend them highly.

Coast installed our water heater back in 2006. They did a fantastic job, so we naturally called Coast when the time finally came for a new water heater. I am glad to say that Coast maintains the same excellence of service over the years, and its charges are always reasonable and competitive. We discovered leaks from the water heater on Sunday afternoon.

Since our old water heater had served us good, we simply ordered a similar model from Home Depot online. We called Coast when the order was ready to pick up on Monday. The charges quoted were very reasonable, so I set up appointment right away. Nate, the technician, showed up within an hour. Nate was very thorough and paid attention to every detail to ensure that the water heater was installed properly and safely. Afterwards, he cleaned the surrounding area and hauled away the old unit. We could not have been more satisfied with Coast's service and Nate's work. We highly recommend Coast for any plumbing needs.

This review is long over due because I've been using Coast for my plumbing needs for years. They have cleared drains, installed water heaters, and most recently fixed some pin hole leaks and installed a water pressure regulator. I've had a few techs do work at my house and they are always very knowledgeable, professional, and get the job done to my satisfaction.

Most recently it's been Nate and Derek sent to deal with some recent plumbing issues, they did a great job. Hopefully I don't need to call Coast out any time soon but I certainly recommend Coast Plumbing and will use them again.

The toilet was running was easily plugged and just not working right. We called Coast Plumbing who had previously installed the washer and dryer at the condo. The plumber was great. He took one look at the toilet and found the calcification and build up was causing havoc since the same toilet had serviced the condo since 1990 and said we could easily just replace the whole toilet.

So we did. The new toilet works great, the old toilet was worn and mildewy smelling and all that funk is no longer in the bathroom. It works like a charm and we are back in business. Laguna Niguel - Jan S We had a pipe burst that ran water to our ice maker, same afternoon as the Laguna Niguel fire. Called Coast Plumbing to address this issue and they arrived 2 hrs later. In February 2021, we needed our old, original sink and toilet valves to be replaced before we could update with a new vanity and toilet. Jacob was so kind, clear with the the costs up front, and very efficient. I hope to work with Jacob again! 10/10 recommend.

I've lived in my house for over 20 years and Coast is my number 1! Two great examples both happing during a Holiday: 1) Day after Christmas 2007- my kitchen sink was backed up and Coast arrived on time and got the job done asap. 2) On Easter Day 2022 noticed a clog in my shower and the toilet had overflowed, I cleaned up the best I could and made an appointment for the next day.

Coast gave me the 8:30 am-9:30 am time slot. It was a successful call. What I truly appericate is the professionalism of the company, the price point, and the quick response.

We couldn't be happier with the pricing, service and overall professionalism of this company. We called Coast Plumbing out to fix a slow drain. They quoted a flat rate price over the phone per drain line and that's the price they stuck with; no high pressure upselling or any other dishonest techniques we've encountered with other companies.

We ended up replacing our 20+ year old water heater that was struggling to remain hot in the same trip. Just took the technician one phone call and the new water heater was delivered and installed in a little over an hour at an extremely reasonable price. We're so happy to have found them and will remain customers for life.

Back in 2018 I used this company when I was in a pinch with water coming thru the wall. Here we are April 2 2022 (saturday) and we had a couple bridal shower going to take place at 4pm (again in another pinch) around 9:30 am the wife calls me out to the front of the house and yep you guessed it we had a pin hole leak coming up to the main to the elbow joint that was leaking.

So I picked up the phone called Coast Plumbing spoke to James told him what was happening and that I needed someone to come out ASAP as this was an a emergency I Told him the situation and he reassured me he would get someone out to me, phone rings and James tells me that he will have someone to me within 30-40 minutes Derek shows up tells me what needs to be done how long it would take and knocked it out and was done before noon. This company are lifesavers. I would STRONGLY recommend them. Thank you guys for all your help.

I have used Coast Plumbing for years and when it really counts to get your plumbing problem fixed right. call Coast. Currently I'm getting a ceramic tile shower replaced and we had a mysterious leak for years associated with this. So while the pipes were exposed I called Coast to get the new shower pipes and mixer valve set up. John came over and this guy worked his buns off all day and was not going to leave until the project was done and water flowing. John discovered the mystery leak was actually coming from the tub on the other side, and a simple application of silicone caulking was the cure. James the dispatcher/manager is great and seems to always squeeze me into the schedule. Thanks a lot Coast!

Our heater wouldn't turn on and our thermostat also wasn't working properly. James sent out a technician, Mike, who had serviced our air conditioner and is so knowledgeable! Mike found a part on our heater that needed replacing and also installed a thermostat that our whole family ( including our "non techy" ones ) would understand how to use. Mike fixed everything in one visit and just in time for the cold weather. Thank you Coast Plumbing, Heating & Air!

Calling a plumber can feel scary. Which is why I suggest calling this company. Reliable, excellent service at a fair cost. Called on a Friday night plumber asked a few questions offered some direction and saved me $ on a service call. He did come the following day. The huge emergency leak was repaired at a decent cost. This company have also kept our furnace humming for five years. Highly recommended their service

I own a home in Costa Mesa and a condo in Newport Beach so I have had many opportunities to call Coast Plumbing. My only regret is that I didn't discover them sooner. No job is too big or too small for them. They have replaced a complete HVAC system in my condo and kept my ancient furnace running until it finally died, and then installed a brand new unit.

They have replaced two gas water heaters and cleaned out backed up main sewer lines and numerous smaller laundry, bath, and kitchen lines. Most recently they replaced a broken kitchen faucet and repaired (not replaced) a gate valve that was not allowing a dishwasher to fill. They are always easy to get in touch with and can usually a get a technician out the same day.

Every technician I have come in contact with has been very knowledgeable as well as cheerful and friendly. Some have been with company over 20 years and all speak very highly of Coast Plumbing as an employer--which speaks very highly of the company. I can't speak highly enough of Coast Plumbing. I always recommend them to anyone who asks and I would not go to anyone else.

I don't write a lot of reviews but I just wanted to thank Coast Plumbing for every time they have come to our house. The appointments are always timely and they are prompt. They probably aren't the cheapest company out there but they are reliable and the technicians they send out know their stuff. David Hernandez recently came out to us to fix an issue with the heating system.

It needed a part they didn't have in stock. He said it would be in on Friday and sure enough he came back out on Friday with the part and fixed everything. Just one last thing I think worth mentioning - they don't try and sell you stuff you don't need

As a recent transplant to OC, we were referred to Coast Plumbing by a coworker and it was not a mistake! They were on time with the appointment which was the next morning after I called and were willing to mask and bootie up on my request. They were able to sort all 3 issues in under 2 hours including changing a shower cartridge, soldering in a new refrigerator valve and fixing a leaking toilet; including making a supply line.

Most impressive was the shower valve which is unmarked with the brand but simply by how the valve felt while opening and closing he guessed it was a Simmons and turned out he was right! Professional and courteous. We will be using them again for future services needed.

We were supposed to have a new washer and dryer installed but when the company came to do it they could not use our current hook ups so we called Coast Plumbing and they were able to come out the next afternoon. John analyzed the problem and determined the best and least expensive way to handle it for us. He did have to come back the next day with some supplies and finish up the new hook ups for a washer and dryer.

Then the company we purchased the washer and dryer from came back and they were happy with the new hook ups and were able to install the washer and dryer. We may have been delayed a day or two but due to John we got it done more quickly than we anticipated. This is the third or fourth time I use them and I recommend them highly.

I had called in a plumber to resolve a shower drain issue. The plumber was there no more than 20 minutes and quoted some exorbitant price and resolution. Called a secondary plumber but wouldn't be available till the following week. My parents had raved about Coast Plumbing so called them to resolve this issue. Not only were they available same day but they resolved the issue at a great and reasonable price.

Even less than the first plumber. They were courteous and resolute. They tried first time to no avail but continued to pursue the problem with a different angle. It made me feel they were going to solve the issue without trying to extort me for more work than what was required. They will be my first call if need of service again.

We enlisted Coast Plumbing when our downstairs shower was running cold water only. Our regular plumber couldn't come. Coast came, diagnosed the problem correctly the first time, and had it repaired in no time. We're grateful for the swift, efficient, and professional service and I think we have found our new regular plumber.

We woke up to a pinhole leak in our garage. I called Coastal plumbing first thing in the morning and they came out a few hours later. Jacob was able to assess the problem and give us several options at different price points. He was able to do the work quickly and had our hot water heater up and running by early afternoon. I have used Coastal plumbing on one other occasion and the service and quality of work and pricing were all great value.

Having your water heater stop working Thanksgiving weekend is not ideal, but if it does, Coast Plumbing is the only company to call. They had a team at our house within a few hours of our phone call, checked on the water heater and then provided a quote for repair. We had received two other over the phone quotes and Coast was within dollars of one and lower than the other, but were the only ones who saw what needed to be done in person.

Within a hour of them being at our house, the water heater was completely replaced and back up and running. The two plumbers were amazing, friendly, great attitude, knowledgeable and straight forward. Best plumber, wait, best contractor we have worked with in years.

We had Coast Plumbing replace a very corroded sink from our bathroom, which was starting to leak in the cabinet area below. We have used Coast Plumbing for numerous jobs and they have always provided excellent service. 'Michael' came for this appointment & evaluated the job & as promised, gave us a price estimate for the job before anything was started.

Work done was fast and efficient and I especially liked that all of the 'old sink' and debris were taken & disposed of by Michael & company. Thanks again; I'm sure we will continue using Coast in the future. RM

We were lucky enough to find Coast Plumbing a few years ago. From the beginning, we have been impressed with their service. They always arrive when expected, and they always do a quality job. The staff members we have met are all friendly and professional. One (Luis) went above the call of duty to repair our toilet that needed a hard-to-find part.

One (Mike) completed an expert installation of our new AC system. One (Derek) expertly installed a handicapped attachment for our shower, and on the way out the gate, discovered a leak in our outdoor water supply. He returned early the next morning to repair and replace pipes and faucet, with an expert new configuration. We are always impressed with the quality of the work done by Coast Plumbing, and we rely on them exclusively for our household repairs and service.

We are preparing our house for sale and needed to have three faucets and an outdoor hose faucet replaced. We have used Coast Plumbing in the past for heater and pluming issues so when I called, I expected that it might be a week or so given how busy contractors are these days. But Mike was in the area and showed up 45 minutes later. He took care of all four items in a reasonable period of time given the difficulty in removing old rusted units.

He was very nice, answered all our questions and made sure everything worked before asking for payment. We will certainly use Coast Plumbing at our new house when issues come up.

Our kitchen sink was clogged and I called several different plumbing services. Couldn't get a simple price estimate over the phone from any of them. When one technician arrived he quoted $450 for a simple snake out! (Typical prices range from $60-250 for this type of problem). Coast Plumbing was courteous and informative. Gave a fixed price quote over the phone, their technician John arrived on time as scheduled and had the clog fixed within 20 minute. Final cost $79. Will definitively use them again. Thank you.

Luis did it again! He fixed our kitchen clog a year ago and now he fixed our clog in the bathroom sink. We will not hesitate to use them again.

Ours is an older home and most of the water lines are original. For several years we have been relying on Coast to "free up" our waste pipes of the occasional clogs. (We concluded that hiring them is more cost effective than replacing the pipes.) But that means we need a service that is quick to respond, they know what to do when they get here, and they have the tools to get the job done.

I called in the morning, they were out here 3 hours later and they had water flowing within 30 minutes. Like they have over the years, the tech suggested a power wash of the line. I figured it was overdue. The next morning they showed up (right on time) and within a hour of starting the wash, they were showing me a live video video feed of some pretty clean 50 year old pipes. No rip-off here. Friendly, professional crew. No mess left behind. I'll be calling them again in the next year likely and it's nice to know they'll be around.

Our hot water heater started leaking Friday night. Coast sent someone over Saturday morning to diagnose the problem in our 16 year old unit. They sent a crew over Monday morning to replace it at a more than reasonable price. I was a home builder for 22 years in another state. I know a good outfit when I see one. These guys are Pros who did a great job from start to finish. Great company, great technicians in the field, no upsell.

We have used Coast for years and they never disappoint! They have come to service our clean out, snake toilets, install newly remodeled bathroom sinks, install new kitchen sink and most recently, we had them out to replace an old toilet in our master bathroom. I just love how they run their business.you call their main line and a friendly voice asks what you need and goes over all the specifics.

From there, they either set an appointment for you or they send someone out asap! They are very upfront with pricing and any questions you may have. The plumber that came to replace our toilet was fantastic! Personable, knowledgeable, clean and friendly. I'd recommend their company over and over. The manager is a disappointment. Once we agreed on a price, he came back for more money. And the story changed.

Coast Plumbing is a fantastic company. My mom had a water pipe burst in the slab and flooded the downstairs. Jerry the plumber was extremely knowledgeable, professional and did a great job. He worked so hard to complete the job the same day so my Mom could turn the water on that night. Jerry really cares about his customers. He even located a water restoration company that started working that afternoon to remove the damaged carpet and get the water out of the house. What a relief Coast Plumbing took care of everything and hires great people. Thanks again Jerry for everything. Highly recommend.

Had a backed up bath tub on the weekend and Coast plumbing was available for emergency service, we paid ~$330 to have them snake the tub, and the water seemed to drain fine. However, a few days later, it started backing up again. Called them out again because they have a 30 day warranty on the service, and I think their customer service department didn't let the technician know that this was a warranty service because he wanted to charge me for the service again.

I told him it was within the 30 day warranty, he checked, confirmed, and started working on it. He told me most likely the clog went deeper after the first guy. He snaked to ~17' and told me he couldn't get the clog. He quoted me $2400 for exploratory work to cut the dry wall and create a clean out. My jaw dropped. I said nah. I called another plumber who snaked it in 5 minutes. TLDR; I don't recommend Coast plumbing because they don't do a thorough job and tried to upsell me a $2400 job. Update: James, the general manager, contacted me directly to apologize for my experience and noted that the second technician should have contacted the office to get another tech to run a longer snake.

He refunded me the ~330 emergency service and offered me a free tub drain in the future. I didn't expect any of this and was (my wife as well) pleasantly surprised. I'm updating the review to reflect the customer service. I know we had to leave a review to get a response but James didn't have to refund me or apologize so I could tell he was making an effort to keep me as a customer. Thank you James and we will keep Coast plumbing in mind for future services.

I don't recall how I found this plumbing service, but I'm certainly glad I did. I've had them out three times in 6 years to clean out a main drain. I've always been impressed by the guys who respond to the service call. They're clean, cheerful, and explain what they're doing. The price is definitely right, and the results are great.

16 years ago, my water heater died. Called up Coast, they came promptly, installed a GE (Rheem) 40k btu 9-year, and it ran until now on soft water without doing any maintenance. Called up Coast again at 8 am, they promptly came within 45 minutes, inspected, quoted, then called for all the parts to be brought over by another employee. They installed a Bradford White 34k btu 6-year, two new 1/4 turn ball valves to replace the decades-corroded old one and add a valve, and 3 hours & $1,500~ later, all done with hot water again!

No issues, did a good job, wore masks and distanced. ( New CA energy-saving water heaters are digitally controlled, so they might less reliable due to more electronics while using less gas over the years - who knows? The BW is rated at 15% less btu than the GE, so I'll have to wait a decade and see. ) ( Temperature was set two notches higher at the hotter 150-160F range, which is above the 125F Hot mark.

This was Nice of them - research "hot water heater bacteria" and you'll understand the balance between saving energy and killer deadly bacteria that can grow if the water heater temperature is too low. )

I've been a customer of Coast Plumbing for at least 8 years after having used other plumbers with poor results. Coast is always on time, professional and honest about my plumbing concerns. Every Coast team member I've interacted with over these years has given great advice and suggests ways to conserve $$ such as preventative maintenance. Coast is my go to for all my plumbing needs.

Jacob and his colleague from Coast just left my house - 9/9/19. They were here about 30 minuets total and did good work. During that 30 minutes it took 5 minutes to diagnose the problem - a leaky hose easily visible; 5-10 minutes to estimate the work at 1 hour of labor ($180/hr) and parts. Total estimate 234.10. It took 15 minutes to complete the work.

But when the project was done, they don't bill by hour, but by project estimate. I asked for them to reduce the 1/2 hour ($90) estimated, and they offered a 10% discount. So I paid $210 for 30 minutes work. When they put their sticker to remind me who did the work, I immediately wrote $400/hr on the sticker. I feel a little bit cheated. But the work they did looks fine.

I have used Coast Plumbing for 12 yrs and have always been impressed with the fair prices and professional and courteous service. Josh is a experienced and professional plumber and polite respectful man. This is a company that you can rely on to do their job in a timely manner and for a awesome price. Excellent and honest service from initial phone call to job well done. Had to get a 25+ year old leaking gas water heater replaced. Coast had a very competitive flat rate offer on their site that totally beat out quotes from a couple independent providers and offered better value for the money than the Orange/Blue warehouses. Installer on site was very professional and happily answered questions we had before, during, and after the install.

Price on website was price on phone and was price at end of the job, no runaround, no gimmicks, no "well we have to see.", no hidden or add-on fees. Done. Strongly recommended!
