I have been a customer with Schwanger since 2018. I have never used oil heat before and I was hesitant about it. However, when I got their service, they answered every question I had and helped me get set up quickly. Their customer service is excellent. Wyatt is always helpful in answering my questions and providing me all the information I need. Their delivery is always on time. and I have yet to run out of oil. Even on Christmas Eve they were there fielding calls and helped me through a few questions I had. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

These guys are the best. I work for a company that has had a trifecta of problems ranging from the Water Heaters to the Steam Boiler all in one year. not only were they able to get us taken care of in a timely manner. Their customer service and willingness to work with the customer is unmatched. I am grateful for our partnership with this company. Keep up the great work!

I had requested someone come service my tank. They couldn't detect the issue. The office called and told me the visit was on the house being that this was my first time experiencing this issue and they did not know why it was not working. (we had just purchased the house and knew nothing about the tank and fireplace). I thanked them for their generosity and was hit with a service bill 1 month later.

Money doesn't matter but the principle of the situation does. We would have been fine if they called and said they could not honor the complimentary visit. We got no call or letter, just an invoice. Needless to say we switched to another local company immediately after.

This is the only oil company in Lancaster County area who was willing to come out to do an emergency fill on a Sunday. It turned out that there was actually an issue with the furnace which the tech fixed in no time. He was incredibly kind and helpful. So grateful for their assistance!

Wy at Schwanger Bros was so incredibly helpful! Our hot water stopped working and we were told we would need a new furnace (SUPER EXPENSIVE)! Wy and his time took the time to look into programs that could help us pay for a replacement furnace and they succeeded! We will be receiving a brand new furnace and thermostat at no cost to us because of their extra work! We will definitely be switching our heating oil provider to Schwanger as well! Highly recommended for your heating needs!

Amazing customer service! I ran out of oil in the middle of a snowstorm on a Sunday night. I called my original oil company and they weren't able to do anything to help. I called Scwanger Brothers and got their answering service! She was very polite and was able to help us! The owner himself came out in the middle of the snowstorm on a Sunday at 7pm to bring me enough oil to get my family through the night!

I felt terrible for having him come out but I truly appreciated everything! He told me to call first thing in the morning to get a delivery. When I called they said they couldn't guarantee anything but could guarantee that it would be here by Friday. Well, they were out in the same day and filled my oil tank! I've never known an owner to go to the extent that the owner of Scwanger Brothers did but I am extremely grateful I called them! Because of the amazing customer service they have gained a new customer!

I switched to Schwanger Bros. about a year ago. We recently needed to fill our tank with this weird weather so I called for a fill. I ended up on canceling the fill due to funds and then a few days later saw that they had still come (mix up in communication). I was super stressed out and called customer service to resolve the issue. They were really kind and gracious and even took care of some of my balance to make it affordable to me.

I really appreciate the time they took and the fact they admitted they made a mistake! wow, that is so unheard of anymore. Schwanger Brothers is a great company with work with and they hold amazing customer service standards and worth you making the switch. P.S. This isn't the only reason I love them. This past year they have always been kind and courteous.

Beware! There is a much better company located in Ephrata, pa. They charge much less and provide much better service. Schwanger bros. Is the worst company I've ever worked with. Never on time and charged me twice for someone doing a leak check/lighting the pilot because their tech didn't know how to. I would not recommend them to anyone. Don't let them fool you. Wolves in sheep's clothing. Very unhappy soon to be former customer. 0 stars is my choice, but it wouldnt allow me to choose 0.

BEWARE, if you are having them do repair work for you, you MUST request a "not to exceed." I learned this after being informed that my bill would be about $200-$300, and then receiving a call after the fact that it was nearly $700. They told me that in the future I need to request a "not to exceed, " then they would call me if it was going to exceed this amount. This is something that would have been nice to know in advance. I would look somewhere else for a service company with more fair business practices.

After going through 3 other plumbers to just get some info, I was pleasantly surprised when Schwanger Bros. 1.) emailed me back almost immediately with my initial question answered 2.) schedule the service appointment for the next day 3.) finished the job in 30 minutes, even though they estimated 2 hours and finally 4.) just charged me for the time that they were there. Nice job guys.keep up the good work.

Good fuel oil, good service, good prices. They are very friendly and easy to deal with and offer you several options for delivery including a scheduled service or call in. They also have services available and send out mailers from time to time reminding you of them. Summer oil deliveries are only twice per week, so you have to make sure you arent going to run out or are out of oil. Otherwise youll have to wait until the next delivery day. They can take credit cards or set you up with a billing cycle.
