The Bath Barn is the retail showroom for Mervin Zimmerman Inc. and was named with the company's roots in mind. Mervin Zimmerman Inc. was established in 1968 in a barn in Lititz, PA and has been family owned and operated ever since. The Bath Barn offers the latest designs and technology and features a variety of working bathroom displays, along with hundred of quality fixtures, parts and accessories. We think you'll love our selection and appreciate the personal service you just won't find at the 'big box' stores.
Plumbing issues like leaking pipes, a broken toilet, no hot water, or sump pump problems can happen at any time, and dealing with these hassles is always stressful. Not a plumbing emergency? Our plumbing service team also offers complete service and installation for new plumbing systems, fixtures, and components.
When a private well serves your home or business, you have a mechanical well pump that keeps your water flowing. You may also have a sump pump installed in your basement to prevent flooding problems. Both of these water pump types are common in our service area here in Lancaster County-and issues with these hardworking pumps are also unfortunately common.

Poor workmanship on our water softener by one of their technicians caused a leak that flooded our basement. The owner of the company was not willing to take full responsibility for the technician's mistake. He treated my wife and me rudely when we asked him to remedy the situation. Only after a lengthy conversation was he begrudgingly willing to pay for the damages.
We canceled the remaining scheduled work with Zimmerman and will never call them for service again. To update my post, the owner was apologetic with us concerning his handling of the situation the next day but only after reading my negative online review.

Never used their service but coming out of a turn where I left plenty of room one of their vans very nearly t-boned me because instead of keeping pace he slammed the accelerator and if you drive a work vehicle like that I can't imagine you drive a personal vehicke any better the person shouldn't even be allowed out in society if they're intentionally trying to cause vehicular accidents much less be hired by a company that involves you driving their logo day in and out

We want to thank you for being so prompt in fixing the gas control valve on our furnace that went out over the week-end. Not only did you have someone come out Saturday, you responded as soon as the part came in which had to be ordered. So grateful to have "hot" water again. Also appreciated the knowledge your technician had in replacing the valve.

Absolutely disappointed in the service of this company. We needed them to come out and fix our oil heat. They never gave a price upfront but when they came out all they did was bleed the baseboards a little, saying I hadn't bled them enough. I did ask the serviceman what the cost would be and he said they would just send me an invoice. We assumed the bill would not be too outrageous since this was such a easy fix. Well, the bill turned out to be $240!
When I called and asked why I wasn't told the price upfront, since I never would have allowed the work to be done had I known what they charge the owner told me they don't tell prices upfront unless you specifically ask because "many people tell him they don't care about price" and he did not believe omitting this information was dishonest. All I can say is that they definitely lost a customer and I'm sorry that others will suffer the same from them.
