Very pleased with my experience with Summers and Zimms. They were able to identify my problem/situation with my septic tank in a timely manner and arranged for the repair. Todd was able to save my sidewalk and the job was completed in less time than expected. Very polite and professional

Our AC broke last night. Despite the fact that it was late and they had been responding to emergency calls all day (the first hot day of the year), Dan came out after getting our call and quickly diagnosed the issue and repaired it. He was responsive and professional even after a long day. Great guy and great company!

Summers and Zim's technicians have been servicing our heating and cooling systems for many years. Their technicians are knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. As a company, their prices are good, their responses are timely, and we continue to be very happy with them, including the two furnaces and one air conditioning unit they have replaced in our 18 year old home.

I can't say enough good things about their service. On the phone they were professional, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The two gentlemen that showed up for the appointment were punctual, knowledgeable, friendly, professional, explained everything they were doing, explained prices before ever doing anything, did a wonderful job, and were tidy and efficient in their work.

This company has wonderful customer service, as well as providing high-quality work. I would recommend them to anyone. I am new to there area, and will be setting up regular maintenance with them for all of my HVAC systems. It's refreshing to find a company who actually values customer service in the way that they do.

The answering team at Summers and Zim's was fantastic. We called with a few questions and they were able to quickly and efficiently walk us through the process of helping one of our customers get their heat restored. They were able to do this over the phone when we were in a no-heat emergency. Beyond helpful. Thank you again!

The scheduling was timely and easy to schedule. The technician (Todd) showed up promptly and was kind. He was patient as he talked through the problem and possible solutions. He gave many solutions and recommendations even though it wasn't the most expensive item. Great service and great demeanor. Edit: this review was written directly after the service.

Now that things have resolved this is not accurate. Though the technician was kind and prompt he didn't do a through exam of our unit and therefore missed the simple solution that was actually the problem, costing us a hard credit inquiry and potentially thousands of dollars. My stepfather noticed the actual problem from PHOTOS and instantly. The pressure release valve needed to be fixed because it was leaking.

There is rust plainly on the unit under the pipe coming from the valve and the unit is 7 years old (the valve should be replaced every five, we bought the house a year ago). That issue in and of itself isn't huge, people miss things but when the companies commercials tout repairing before replacing to help their customers that should be what actually happens. Also, the pricing if we did replace was way above averages for that unit and replacement.

I've been using Summers & Zim's for my HVAC service for the last few years. I'm very happy with the service that they provide. The technicians know what they are doing, I always get appointments when I need them, and the office staff is very friendly and helpful also. The maintenance plan I do twice a year is a good value to make sure the unit is running at peak performance!

Wow! Called at 11am because my home had no heat. Technician was there by 12p. Diagnosed our problem, gave us a fair quote and found the part we needed. He drove to pick it up and was back to our home with repairs finished and heat restored by 3pm! We received phone calls and email updates throughout the day, updating us on the status of our work order and technician's time frame. We couldn't have been more pleased!

Their techs are always very courteous of my family and home. Today was no different. They have knowledge about my geo heating and cooling system. They communicate well. Today they were running a little late and called to let us know. I appreciate their service. Chris

Response time was great Russell and Steve were pleasant, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. Garret was on top of things in the office and Kenny (home under the weather) was helpful to the techs. As always, very happy with S&Z.

I had both a maintenance visit and a customer supplied thermostat installed. Did a good job and Steve was knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. Although the job was done well, I was disappointed in the price of the thermostat installation. The price quoted just to install a thermostat including the visit was $229. The price of a maintenance call including visit was $209.

I discussed the price of the thermostat ahead of time and pointed out that since the tech was already here for the maintenance was it still the same price. I was told that since he was already there, I would pay for the actual time of installation. Very reasonable. I am perfectly willing to pay for services rendered and am not trying to get away with anything.

The time it took for the thermostat installation was about 1 hour including installation, wiring, including some difficulties in set up and operation check. The cost for the maintenance was $209 and it took over an hour for that part of the service. So, I paid more for the installation of a thermostat than I paid for the more complex and time consuming maintenance. Perhaps next time it would be better that I ask the hourly rate so I can verify that the cost is accurate.

Next day service! And Steve got me heat in five minutes! He also double checked my entire system to make sure everything was up to par! I'm glad he did because we need to fix a few things. Pricing is very reasonable.

Shane has been the technician that has performed yearly maintenance on my furnace and my air conditioner the last several times. He is always pleasant, professional, and takes great care and servicing my equipment. Also, the last time he was here I asked him about a carbon monoxide detector. He encouraged me to buy one for my home which I did. In November of this year 2 family members succumbed to carbon monoxide poisoning, They were having furnace problems and did not have a carbon monoxide detector in their home. I thanked Shane for encouraging me to be sure to have one in my home.

I called S&Z at 7 am with a water heater needing to be replaced. I knew based on age of heater, previous heaters in the house, and some outward signs it needed to be replaced. From the person who took my call to the prompt response by Plumber Ron, the issue was completely resolved by 2 pm. I never thought when I took an icy shower in the morning I'd be able to take a hot one by the end of the day.

I appreciated that Ron was clean, thorough and respectful and did not take an opportunity to "mansplain" the situation to me. When I made it to the house to see the finished product he even took a moment to tell me how well behaved my dog had been while he worked. Love feeling like I am inviting a family member into my home when someone from S&Z is doing the work.
