A cleaner and more energy efficient choice. Since 1978, Chelsea has designed and implemented geothermal heating and cooling systems. Projects span from Philadelphia to the Eastern Shore. These systems tap the constant temperature of the earth in order to provide heating, cooling and hot water. Geothermal heat pumps only use electricity to move heat (not to produce it).
The best way to extend the life of your heating and air conditioning systems is with preventative maintenance. Chelsea offers maintenance agreements to take the burden of keeping up with your heating and air conditioning off you and in the hands of experienced professionals. One of Chelsea's trained technicians will come to your home or business and perform a comprehensive preventative maintenance test.
Chelsea's mechanics not only design the duct system layout within a home, we also design their actual custom ductwork from blank pieces of sheet metal in our own in-house sheetmetal shop. Unlike any other Heating and Air Company in the area, we have our own custom sheetmetal shop, with advanced computer-driven equipment, allowing us to provide the very best in duct workmanship.

I first contacted Chelsea heating in mid to late June 2019 to address my tilting outside AC unit, then again a few weeks later, and again a short time after that, and a couple more times. It was only after I contacted my builder that Chelsea Heating was able to come out and address the issue.five months later.

Had Lou and his crew install a geothermal unit to replace my 25+ year old oil furnace/ac combo. From start to finish it was a great experience. Lou came out to give the estimate himself and was very no nonsense and straight forward. He thoroughly explained the options for a system in detail and what he thought would work best and definitely gave me his best price up front.
His style was definitely appreciated as some other companies made geothermal seem like a mystical art and balked at even giving me a ball park price unless I gave them a non refundable $1200 upfront to spend a day doing measurements and calculations on my home. Lou on the other hand was very low/no pressure and was happy to answer any questions I had both during the estimate and after the fact via phone.
Just an old school good businessman. Anyway, Fast forward to install days (it was a 2.5 day job) and his crew is super friendly. They didn't mind my asking questions where respectful of my home keeping my home and basement as clean as possible while working and completely cleaning up after each day. Once completed my new system looked like a work of art and has been working beautifully while saving me money on my utilities and being way better for the environment. Can't recommend these guys enough!

I would like to start this review by saying I have never purchased their services, BUT I definitely would after two of their employees gave me a hand at Lowes yesterday. Thank you to the two gentlemen that helped load mulch/ soil in the back of my already STUFFED car. They did not accept the $20 I offered. Good people stand out, keep it up. -Does Chelsea service the Havre De Grace, MD area?!
