My house took on 48 of river water during the recent Hurricane Ida storms that hit Montgomery. Sherman Smith was a great company to work with. They were fast and responsive and didn't take advantage of me during this horrible disaster. They gave me fair pricing and made time in their intense schedule during the disaster. They completely replaced my water heater and my complete HVAC system over two days and got my family and me back in our house quickly. Thank you! Rob S.

Highly recommend Sherman Smith and they were expeditious, professional and courteous. I called a couple of companies prior to contacting Sherman and all went to Voicemail. Angie picked my call on the first ring and has been an absolute pleasure to work with. The owner Jack reached out to me as well to resolve an issue and made sure everything was satisfactory. However, I would strongly recommend that you ask for someone other than Adam to your home to quote for the job. Adam has no clue about Water Heaters (mistake after mistake). The rest of the team at Sherman are awesome - Ron and John installed the two water heaters and went above and beyond!

I have known Sherman Smith's company for several years now. They have been our plumber/HVAC contractor of choice since we moved to NJ, except for one year when we called AJPerri - who told us that all our brand new furnaces needed to be replaced immediately and who we then promptly never called again. Under new management, SS is even better. We just met two of their installers (Adams and Al) for a furnace inspection.
They were prompt, courteous, thorough and obviously knew their stuff. I would call them again (and again) without hesitation. There are very few good plumbers & HVAC people out there and this firms is right on top of the best ones.

I needed a hot water heater replaced at a Unit in a Shopping Center I own/manage in Central NJ. Not only was Guy and his team able to get out to the site on the same day as my call, but was able to replace the unit the very next day. Great people to work with and great pricing. I would recommend Sherman Smith to anyone-- commercial or residential.
