On a whole, the experience we had was top notch. Bert gave us the quote, came by multiple times to check on the job, and followed up after it was complete. In a world where it is all about the next job, we didn't get that feeling at all. Paul and his crew were professional and courteous. They were happy to answer any questions and finished leaving everything clean and secure. I always get a second quote minimum in any job but these guys stood out above the rest.

We have used Harmony before for our oil to gas conversion so it made sense to call them when our central AC unit went down in our new home. They were so responsive and were able to get us in earlier than expected due to a cancellation. Every single person was so kind and knowledgeable from Lori in the office to the technician that came and fixed our unit.
He was efficient, professional and so nice. Our issue was a bad capacitor and it was fixed within 30 minutes and he even cleaned puff our unit to help it run more efficiently. I cannot recommend them enough- they were wonderful!

Our furnace stopped working overnight and when we realized we couldn't fix the problem ourselves we called Harmony Heating. The repair guys were great. They quickly found the issue, fixed it, and explained how to better care for the furnace moving forward. We definitely recommend their services. Service: Heating system repair

Harmony Heating has been our HVAC company for three years, and they've always been great - reliable, responsive, and lovely to work with. Whenever we've had emergencies, they've been able to come fix our systems the same day! Our serviceman is Pawel, and he's wonderful at remembering our system's idiosyncrasies. He's also been very responsible with our requests re: shoe covers, masking, etc. They're one of my favorite service companies and have kept our heat & air systems in great condition.

We had no heat in one of our service bays, called 3 local services, would not do commercial HVAC, Harmony came same day as I called, ordered parts, as soon as parts came in showed up in afternoon, back up and running, kept in touch with updates. Harmony Heating just replaced the fan motors in our A/C Systems. They failed one week apart. The original motors failed, and the fans were wobbling and making bad noises. Harmony's technician, Pawel, quickly diagnosed the problem and determined that the motors should be replaced. Ryan, the service supervisor, suggested that we could save a considerable amount of cost and time by replacing with a stock motor (the OEM motor would have taken 7-10 days for delivery, and cost $900 more for EACH motor). Thanks to all at Harmony, and a big thank you to Laurie for waiving a customary service charge for the second A/C motor failure only one week after the first.

When our central air stopped working this summer, Harmony Heating came to the rescue! Within hours of placing our call, a service technician was dispatched to our home. When the technician serviced our unit he was thorough and in no time had diagnosed the problem. While the solution required some research due to our specific unit, they made sure we were not without AC until they were able to fully repair our system.
Thanks to the professional team at Harmony Heating, our system was running back to 100% efficiency within no time! There is no one out there who provides such a great experience like this company has. We are truly thankful for all their help.

Even though we were his last appointment of the day, Jonathan (our technician) was patient and thorough. He made sure that everything on our air conditioner was fine--replacing a broken blower and two filters--and his price was extremely fair. I have always been happy with Harmony Heating. When we switched from all electric to gas two years ago, Harmony Heating was the only company to suggest two furnaces in order to heat the lower level of my home. It has proven to be the best and the most cost effective solution. Today, their service technician, Ben, did the winter maintenance on our heating system and replaced a thermostat.
He showed me two thermostats from his truck which allowed me to select the one that felt more user friendly. Once it was installed he showed me the features and how to set it. He was professional, patient and courteous. Emails and phone calls to the company are always answered right away and always with courtesy. I could not be happier with Harmony Heating and will always recommend them!

There's no worse feeling than when you look at the thermostat and see its 5:05 pm, 62 degrees in the house (25 outside and dropping), and the furnace isn't blowing. I looked up the error codes and saw it wasn't something I could manage, then called Harmony who has shown in the past that they are very good with diagnostics and repair.
Two things happened: first, I spoke with Ryan who was absolutely transparent about costs (off hours service pricing) and timing (that it would be about an hour), as well as the real world limitation (they try to stock parts on the truck but can't have everything). Ten minutes later I got a call from a tech who offered to troubleshoot by phone to see if they could get me up and running myself.
While that didn't work, I appreciate that effort! The service tech showed up within an hour, and though he spent a while diagnosing the problem and trying solutions, he was unable to resolve and I had to wait overnight. First thing this morning, I had two people jumping in to find what was a obscure and rare problem. They fixed it, and now my heat is on!
Above and beyond that, they were not only fair about the cost but they were proactive in handling it so that I felt like I was treated as a partner. After working with Harmony a number of times, I strongly recommend this company.

I scheduled an appointment with Harmony Heating to service our furnace. The technician arrived in a timely matter and used proper Covid precautions. After looking at the furnace he said we needed a new belt, but he didn't have one. He also said we needed to change the filter, but he didn't have one. He charged $130 for 20 minutes of his time and nothing was accomplished.
He should have at least made an effort to get the belt and the filter. My husband easily located them at Home Depot and another parts store. They are both very inexpensive and he will change them himself now. In addition, the technician said we should get a new furnace. That is something we will consider since it is old. But until we make that final decision the technician should have made an effort to obtain and replace the belt and the filter. We were dissatisfied with the service.

My A/C failed during our recent heat wave, day before July 4th. Harmony had installed my unit back in May 2000 so I called them. They said they could come day after July 4th between 12-4. They called on that day at 2pm said they were on the way. Technician "Dan" was very knowledgable and professional. He diagnosed problem as a high voltage cap, replaced the cap, and I was back up and running in less than 30 mins total. Only thing more i could have asked was for same day service. But in the middle of a heat wave during a holiday week, I was grateful. I recommend these guys.

I've been a satisfied customer of Harmony for many years. They have installed and serviced my HVAC exclusively. Their price has always been competitive or even lower than others. They have always come when needed (on short notice too!) and done the job right. I've never had anything but a good experience.

I used Angie's List and HomeAdvisor to find this contractor. I wanted to install a simple duct for an exhaust fan for the kitchen. The person who quoted my wife (free) mentioned the plan was to run the exhaust straight up through the roof not the side of the house as what we requested (the stove is on an external wall). I was never given an official work order, nor any plans, but was assured it would be a short duct with minimal deviation straight up.
The worker came the following week and had order to run into the attic with a 10ft bend up the roof line before exiting. Obviously not was agreed upon, the estimator then contacted me and said bend was only 3ft. Clearly they were trying to pull a fast one. Estimator also claimed that it was a fire hazard to run out the side of the house, which I checked with the town which is not.
My father threw them off the job within 5 mins and they attempted to bill me for travel time and work time that was not performed. Clearly this is similar to what previous reviewer experienced. I ended up doing the work myself the way I wanted for $100 in parts and days worth of elbow grease.

I had harmony out to service my ac and forced air heat system. Both were installed by another company. The service tech was very polite, helpful and the price was reasonable. Update-- I just called them today for an emergency service--my ac picked the hottest day to break. They're coming by in a few hours.

I was referred to this business from a friend and the guy immediately price-gouged me and was rude and condescending when I spoke to him over the phone. I needed a new central air conditioning unit installed and he said "You are looking between $7,000.00 and $8,000.00 for replacement. A lot of the times the door of the closet and frame end up having to be removed because the unit is bigger then the opening." He never even asked me IF the door or frame would have to be removed and it doesn't.
He could've just asked me that and I would have told him. Clearly looking to charge me as much as he possibly can. Especially on a referral from someone, you're supposed to at least try to be fair. Not recommended.
