Furnace stopped working last weekend, call and talk with Randal on Monday, he came out within 1 hour. The circuit board on my 20+ years old furnace stopped working and Randal replaced it same day.

I called Olympic heating because my furnace went out. Initially I thought it was a simple fix, but after talking to Shawn I learned that the problems were more widespread. He was really friendly on the phone and came out just a couple of hours after I had called. Service: Heating system repair

I am truly grateful to Sean for coming out to fix our furnace, and within just a few days of my calling about a dead furnace (in need of a new inducer motor) and cold house. I called three businesses to get quotes for both a repair and replacement. Two companies insisted that repair was a waste of time and a new furnace was a necessity. On the other hand, Sean at Olympic was the only one who talked me through the value of fixing the broken motor and gave me perspective on about how much life would be left in the furnace if I went with a repair instead of replacement.

There was absolutely no pressure to buy a new furnace AND the quote for a repair was 1/3 the cost of what another company quoted me. Fixing the motor was obviously the much more affordable option for me, but Olympic will now have my business when it does come time to replace the furnace. In an era where a customer can look up information online, a company that treats their customers with transparency and integrity is always the better option.

I have had the privilege of using Olympic Heating several times now, and have been extremely happy, impressed, and pleased with their work. Both times, Randall has come out to service our gas heater, and this last time he actually fixed a longstanding issue with the way the previous owner had installed it. His dedication to doing things the right way and his eye for detail are very much appreciated!

Now the furnace runs like a dream, and it is so much quieter! I will definitely be using their services again in the future, and strongly recommend them for any heating related needs.

I'm a first time home owner and have no experience when it comes to heating systems or repair companies, so I feel like I lucked out finding Olympic Heating. Sean was awesome, fair and fast. He fixed my problem in minutes and took the time to answer all of my ignorant questions. Also, I guess I called at the perfect time because he got to my house faster than UberEats! Great Service and better equipment in my opinion compare to other furnace services. Also, they were able to install the furnace within a couple of days whereas other companies were 2 weeks out.

I wish there was some way I could give Randall and Olympic Heating a hundred stars. Our furnace went out during the night of December 22nd and by morning it was very chilly in our house. The company we last used to service the furnace came out and verified the blower fan was shot. They could order a new fan and install it the end of the following week (10 days later!) I called around and got similar answers from other companies.

We take care of our grandchildren (4 and 1 year old) and the outdoor temp was 28 so we felt we could not go 10 days without heat. I finally called Olympic and spoke with Randall. He stated if he could find a fan he would personally install it today or tomorrow. He did find a fan - only one available as it it turned out - and several hours later we had our furnace back in operation! Randall went beyond any reasonable expectations for service and we are extremely grateful!

Furnace went out last night, called PSE who isn't doing service calls during COVID and didn't provide any recommendations just told me to call a local heating service! Was referred to these folks by my soon to be son in law, they called me back right away, had someone out to my home within a couple hrs and had my furnace up and running again in less then an hr! Are you kidding me? Fantastic, warmth is wonderful! Thank you Sean for your quick and awesome work. A definite rare find in this day and age! I will be using this service forever!

Sean showed up within an hour of the scheduled time and was very friendly, efficient, thorough and professional. He was nice enough to answer a few questions I had about our heater (I'm a first-time home owner, so lots to learn!), and was happy to spend a little extra time looking at one of our vents and fixing our thermostat that wasn't securely attached to the wall. Great experience! Definitely recommend.

Long overdue review. Above and beyond service! Our furnace had issues winter of 2018 and our house was terribly cold for our toddlers. Several companies were weeks out just for a diagnosis but Olympic was able to fit us in next day. Sean came out to the house and was able to get the furnace running and heat was restored. Fantastic service.

Really great service in the 20 years we've been going to them with our furnace needs. Their business address lists Edmonds but if you live in N Seattle they're within easy reach. In our most recent experience with them, our furnace was acting up & they returned my call immediately, did the research and confirmed it was still under warranty, they ordered a new part, zoomed out to our house, and installed it. They were polite and thorough, patiently answered all my questions, didn't over charge - I highly recommend them and would use them again.

Called Olympic Heating re: MIL's furnace, 15 years old and after remodel was going thru short cycles continuously. After inspection and testing with thorough cleaning the furnace was running great again. Service call was very prompt. The attention to detail was very good. Very pleased with overall service and professionalism. Will definitely call Olympic Heating again.

I have used Olympic Heating for many years, and totally trust them. Last year they warned me my 21 year old furnace was near the end of its life, but they cleaned it and I got another year out of it. They were helpful and amused finding and retrieving the rat carcass from the furnace, that stunk up the whole house. Father and two sons - they really care about their customers, will give you a straight answer.

Highly recommended, reasonably-priced and a no-frills get-the-job-done- right company to work with.

Our furnace quit working on December 25th. Called Olympic Heating in the morning on the 26th and left a message. They returned the call and were out within hours. They quickly got the furnace running. The price was very fair and customer service fantastic. They have a customer for life!

We received excellent, timely service from these folks. Called and they came out, found something simple and didn't charge us much. Two thumbs up! I would give more thumbs, but then my husband would be missing one or both of his!

This will be our heating company from here on out. Called them this morning after coming home from vacation and finding our furnace not working. They were at our home with in three hours. Two brothers came (their dad owns the business). Spent time checking our 25+ year old furnace and found it just needed cleaning and a change of wiring on the nest thermostat.

They totally could have sold me a brand new furnace (I have no idea about these things). Instead they taught me how to clean the filters and had it all up and running again for $150. Amazing. And I love that it's a long time, local family run business.

If there were an option to give more than 5 stars, I certainly would. Friday before a holiday weekend and my furnace is blowing cold air. : I call about 15 places and couldn't find anyone to help me the same day. After reading other great reviews here, I gave Olympic a call. Sure enough, Randall squeezed me into his schedule the same day. He showed up on time, quickly identified the problem, and had the fix right on his truck.

Easy peasy, the heat is back! I also appreciate it when the pros pass along a few extra tid bits of knowledge. My furnace is very old but it's still ticking so it's not a priority to replace. He gave me some practical advice about when I will start to know it's time for a new furnace which I very much appreciated.

Fixed on the spot and WE HAVE HEAT. Love that Olympic Heating looked to save me money. Randall easily could have scared us into buying a new furnace. Instead, we looked at the pros/cons, then evaluated/repaired the compressor--by far the most cost-effective solution. Afterward, he checked condensation lines, pump, and the exhaust and in-home CO levels. Old furnace kicking as good as gold. Or gravy. Mmmmm. gravy.

I woke up one recent morning to a very cold house. My furnace had stopped working overnight. I called a few furnace repair places and Olympic was the first to get me scheduled. They were sending a repairman out by 10 that same day! When Sean arrived, he was friendly and got right to work diagnosing the issue. He had the problem fixed within an hour but said that my heat exchangers were rattling around and that they were missing a brace of some sort.

He asked if it was OK if he looked into this issue more. He found that there was no damage to the exchangers and then he MacGyvered a brace from some metal in his truck! When all was said and done, my furnace works great and is in much better condition than when Sean arrived and all for an extremely reasonable fee. I highly recommend Olympic!

We hired Olympic to transition an old oil furnace to gas, and we were extremely pleased with the entire process, including the pricing. The bid was actually considerably lower than other companies, perhaps because it's a smaller shop. As a woman, I also appreciated that Randall and family always speak to me respectfully, and never talk down to me (sorry I have to write this, but too many exceptions to this situation in the gas furnace industry. They'll talk to my husband like an adult, but not me).

In the meantime, Randall has been very direct and helpful regarding questions regarding a water heater. I appreciated his honesty about what size of water heater was truly necessary for a family, and how long we might be able to wait before replacing our current heater.

I consulted Yelp for a furnace install and I'm glad I did. It's not fun dropping over four grand (in our case) for a furnace but if you must, you want to make sure you are getting a good clean install from a knowledgable serviceman. (And a contractor with a proven customer service focus). Randall answered all of our questions with patience (even though he probably hears the same ones all the time).

He didn't balk when I looked at other bids. And when we finally chose Olympic he was on time and did a top notch job. He even refunded us on some parts we didn't need. (How often does that happen?) We are pleased with his work and would recommend him without reservation. Thanks Yelpers.
