Kudos to Eddie and his assistant, Tyler, who installed my toilet this morning (upon my request for them to do the job). They were prompt, polite, and and professional, as per usual. I had the extreme pleasure of meeting your employee, Alejandro and his colleagues Mike and Ernest, I believe was his name.

We called on a Sunday because our drain was clogged and flooded downstairs. Alex came out within hour of initial call and worked diligently from 9am to almost 6 pm. I was impressed with his courteousness and diligent work ethic. The blockage required multiple attempts to access drain and additional team members assistance. They worked throughout the day and needed additional parts to complete the the task.
At one time, we had 3 Acme trucks in front of our house. The clog went down 1700 feet down in the back of our house. They did not stop working until clog was found and opened. It was a long day for all. Acme workers maintained a positive attitude and worked hard until job was completed. We are very grateful to Alex and his team.

The technician came on time, followed COVID protocols, assessed the situation and ordered the needed part after explaining what was happening. When the part was received, Acme contacted me and in less than 20 minutes, the tech was here to install the part.easy as can be. Ease of scheduling, professional technicians and reliable service are the reasons I count on Acme.

My technician, Norval, fixed a problem I have suffered with for ten years and through three prior plumbers. He is my plumbing hero! Ten years ago, I had a recirculating hot water pump installed by a "professional" plumber, but it never seemed to deliver hot water as quickly to my kitchen sink as my similar pump had done in a previous home. So I called a different plumbing service to look at it, and he said that my timer was not set correctly.
I convinced myself it was better, but it really wasn't. Third plumber looked at it and said the motor was out. That didn't make sense, so I didn't get it replaced as he recommended, and so I put up with it for another several years before a friend recommended Acme. Called Acme. They sent Norval. He explained that the original installation was not correct - that it needed a valve. He ordered the valve, came back to install it a few days later and I now smile every single time I turn on the hot water and it comes out hot!

It's official. We are loyal to Acme plumbing from now on, thanks to Clay and Norman. No other plumbing company will set foot in our house because these guys just blew us away with their professionalism, stellar customer service, exceptional expertise about historic homes, and fair pricing. Our century-old iron sewage decided to go on strike back in October, when a literally and figuratively sh*tty acquaintance participating in a multi-household yard sale ravaged at least one jumbo roll of toilet paper for an hours-long diarrheic escapade that would put Mt. St. Helen's to shame.
My husband managed this and another cleanup on his own to the tune of $500. (Yes, it is a shining testament to my husband's worth that he will wade through a pond of poop for our family. He's a keeper.) We had two different plumbing companies out since the disaster. Both times, technicians were perplexed, demonstrating beyond a shadow of a doubt that they had no idea what they were talking about; yet each submitted specious proposals with estimates that made my nose bleed. Finally, we had the sense to call Acme. Speaking with Norman on the phone was the unexpected jewel of my week.
He delivered genuine validation about our trials that warmed my heart. His sense of humor and professionalism helped me feel calmer. And his honesty and candor inspired trust that I couldn't imagine feeling a) over the phone or b) in my first conversation with someone. Norman listened extremely carefully, and in reflecting back to me the complicated information I conveyed, quickly picked up on the esoteric and challenging nature of our plumbing mystery.
He said he knew just the right plumber to send to our house if we were willing to wait just two more days. Enter Clay and his young assistant. Clay knows old houses. He's got a sharp intelligence, expansive knowledge, formidable creative problem-solving skills, and some awe-inspiring grit. Of all the great workers we've had in this old house over the years, we've never been so impressed with a team's GSD attitude and work ethic.
After 10 hours of totally disgusting work, he sleuthed out some almost hilariously bad decisions that past owners had made. They paved a driveway over the original drainage, leaving no clean out access, then circumnavigated the house with about ~300 ft of new piping just to avoid doing the job right the first time to tie into the original line. The world's greatest inspector could never have discovered all this craziness, but Clay's innovative problem solving compelled him to search for the line far away from where anyone would expect to find it.
This is already a long story. Suffice to say that we now have clarity on the issue and a solid plan moving forward. The cherry on top is that Acme connected us with partners of theirs who consult with clients about how to most effectively present claims to homeowners' insurance. If you despise band aid fixes and wasting money on repairs done by inexperienced tradespeople, learn from our saga. Get it done right the first time. Pick up the phone, call Acme, and get a legit hero like Clay to come save the day.

We have used Acme Plumbing for plumbing issues (maintenance & repairs) throughout our 13 years in this home; they are reliably professional, prompt, & perform high quality work. Michael was prompt, friendly, & a good communicator re: the estimate & the problems in the exterior faucets that he skillfully repaired. I would definitely recommend them.

We are return customers because we had a positive experience previously. We own a 1960s home with cast iron pipe on a concrete slab and this company is very knowledgeable. They make sure the job is done correctly and don't take any short cuts. The owner Norman has worked with us and was very understanding. We were very happy especially with the plumbing supervisor Michael.
He told us he has 40 plus years of experience and boy does it show! Michael and Efran really got us out of a jam. We had a bad situation here with 2 toddlers at home and a bad leak of a kitchen pipe and it turns out we had a clog as well. With their expertise and hard work by the end of the day I had running water and access to my kitchen again. I would highly recommend this plumbing company! Companies that really care about their customers first and also value doing the job honestly and correctly are hard to come by! Thank you Michael, Norman and ACME for another job well done! You have made life long customers and we have referred many to you and will continue to do so!

I called ACME on a Wednesday morning around 8:30am for a leaking water heater that had bit the dust after 11yrs. By 10am a crew of two professional men were at my house. In 15 minutes the project was assessed, quoted, and agreed upon. I gave them the go-ahead to replace with a like-for-like solution and they went on their way. Due to many of the supply chain shortages it took them a little bit of time to acquire a similar water heater (about 2hrs).
Then 3-4 hours after that the replacement was complete. To summarize I called at 8:30am with a problem and by 4pm they installed a new water heater and were gone. One word, AWESOME! They also use nice customer service tools like the ability to see where they're plumber is on the way to you. Updated, automated texts messages about scheduling, etc. Lastly, but most important.
The quality of the people that came to replace the water heater was off the charts. My 3yo daughter was at home with the sniffles and was following me around, the two gentlemen were super nice to her. When I had to go take my son to Tae Kwon Do, we found out that one of them was a 3rd degree black belt and they started talking about TKD for a moment. Friendly, well trained, responsive, plumbers. What else could you ask for. Hire these guys, they'll do a great job.

I've had several things taken care of by ACME since we moved into our new home and have been very happy with my experiences from start to finish. The first set of work involved replacing old polybutylene pipes and fixing leaks. Unlike another very highly rated plumbing company in the area, the front-end customer service experience was very positive and responsive.
Even better, the cost for the proposed services was much more reasonable than other estimates I received! I was also very happy that some smaller plumbing issues were readily taken care of when the techs were already on-site--again, at a good price. The technicians were also very professional, friendly, helpful and honest (At first glance there seemed to be an issue, it was priced for me, I agreed to the work, and then on closer inspection it turned out to be a non-issue related to an old well system.
The tech could have still charged me at that point and I would have been non-the-wiser, but he didn't and reported why everything was actually fine.). The mixed reviews made me a bit hesitant to use the company, but I'm really glad and I wanted to share my positive experiences for anyone concerned.

Do your homework before hiring a plumber, or else you'll get ripped off by the technician. A while ago, one of the techs was only supposed to find the septic tank. He decided to dig as well and charge almost $300. I guess he thought that he could milk money from an older couple and pocket the money under the company's nose. It's not the first time he did this to the couple but it will be the last. I was so close to making sure that he was out of a job but I will let karma take care of that.

I have used Acme for help at both my father's house and my house and I could not be happier with the service I have received. Every time I call in I am greeted by a courteous and kind receptionist who gives my issue her full attention and promptly dispatches a plumber to help. Acme has helped me resolved problems with the main water gauge, toilets, sinks, and garbage disposals and I have never had to call back about something they previously fixed.
After my second time calling them I signed a one-year service contract and now whenever I have a problem they come out for free to diagnose the issue and advise on how to proceed. In my experience they are very honest with their pricing and are quick to mention if a part can be found cheaper elsewhere. The plumbers are all very respectful and efficient, they did not evade my questions and were extremely knowledgeable on the task at hand. I felt completely comfortable inviting Acme into our homes and I doubt I will ever call another plumbing company while I am in the area.

The work done was fine - no issues with the plumber actually doing the work. He was courteous, efficient, and on time. The issue is that the estimator told me that the job was very complicated and tedious and that it would take a long time. Because he seemed professional and honest I accepted his bid. But the job was very simple - replace two tees with unions.
It only took 75 minutes on site and less than $20 in parts. The cost was $575. Plumbers do a difficult job and deserve to get paid well. And companies deserve to make money. But Acme misrepresents the job to overcharge. Look at the reviews that are not recommended in the Yelp review page (below the recommended reviews). You'll see the same thing - Acme charging way too much and not caring about their customers concerns. Stay away.

Hired these folks to fix a water leak under one of our toilets. They sent someone out the same day and had all the parts necessary for a fix right on the truck. Two hours later the leak was fixed for a reasonable amount. Hopefully we won't need them again too soon but when that day comes, we will definitely call Acme. Btw. when the plumber left, the room was spotless as he took the time to put down a protective pad and put plastic covering on his shoes. We like the fact that he was so considerate of our home.
