We contacted Maximum Mechanical to schedule a spring/summer maintenance tune-up for our HVAC system, based on positive reviews on Google & Yelp. The person we spoke with on the phone was friendly and explained that they would put us down for the first appointment window (roughly 9am-11am) on Friday, June 18th. I adjusted my work schedule so that I could work from home on the 18th since the technician would need to come inside as part of the service.
By 11am on the 18th, no one had shown up or called to say they were running behind, so I called the office number and was told that several emergencies had come up and they would need to reschedule. The soonest available appointment they could offer was the second appointment window (roughly 11:30am-1:30pm) on Tuesday, July 6th. I accepted but asked if there was any assurance that I would not encounter another cancellation on the 6th. the office person assured me that any time a customer had to be rescheduled, they made a note in their records that the rescheduled appointment was not to be canceled under any circumstances.
On the 6th, I encountered the same issue with no one showing up or calling to update me on their ETA, so again I called their office asking for an update. I was told that the appointment window was really just a general estimate of the tech's anticipated arrival time, and that this window was always subject to change depending on if other jobs ended up being more involved, or if there were emergencies.
I explained that understood all that but was told our appointment was supposedly a no-cancel since we'd already been canceled once previously. I had to return to the office for an afternoon meeting, so they offered to reschedule for later that same day if I might be home & available to meet the tech by 5pm. I said I'd be able to do that and thanked them for rescheduling that same day.
I arrived home at 5pm, and at 5:37 pm they called to say the tech could not make it and would need to reschedule again. While I can't provide a review of the actual service provided, I was extremely disappointed in the appointment system and multiple cancellations I experienced. On two occasions, I made adjustments to my work schedule in order to be home for the appointment window I was given, and the repeated cancellations and lack of communication from their office made me feel that Maximum Mechanical did not value me as a customer. Perhaps they treat their contract clients differently, but based on this experience I will not be using Maximum Mechanical for future service or repairs to our HVAC system.

I don't know what has happened to this company recently, but whatever it is, it's NOT good! My parents are working on day 5 of no AC and have been mislead numerous times about when it will be fixed. The owner, Gary told them that he has sent 3 people out to look at it, yet it's STILL not fixed. They even offered to pay the overnight shipping rate for whatever part they need since it's been so long.
They were told that someone would be there this morning, and here it is well after the noon hour and no one has shown up. He also told them that he's had to make some "changes" recently to his staff but did not elaborate. Whatever these changes are, they are TERRIBLE! My parents have been customers of this company for over 25 years but will never ever call them again. For anyone looking for good, reliable service, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!

Maximum Mechanical recently replaced my HVAC unit after coming out for a service call. They were professional, prompt and did not try to push me into any decisions. Everyone I encountered from this company did a great job. They have excellent technical knowledge and were very thorough in reviewing my system and needs. In addition, they were fairly priced and went above and beyond in trying to accommodate us. ( It was the middle of summer and we had no A/C.) On the day of install the two staff members were on time and did a great job installing and removing our old system. I would not hesitate to call them again.
