My almost thirty year-old furnace died, suddenly. Champaign Heating & Air responded immediately, and sent someone out that same day. The technician was frank and honest with me about the cost of repairing the furnace versus getting a new one. The price he quoted seemed reasonable, so I opted for the new one, and they installed it handily. I'm warm! Thank you, Champaign Heating & Air!

We've used Champaign Heating & Air twice now; once for our A/C after we bought our house last year, and once for the furnace this week. Both times, the dispatch was very friendly and helpful, the techs were quick to return calls and schedule quickly (same day/next day), and issues were resolved quickly and the techs were great to work with (Lan and Chris).
Both were very friendly and knowledgeable, and had no problem answering my questions, gave straight answers, and offered options for repair routes both times, keeping spending in mind. We'll continue to use them for our HVAC needs. COVID note, the last tech (Chris) wore a mask the entire time and was mindful of social distancing, which was appreciated.

Jaime came in and saved the day with his vast knowledge and impeccable guest service. We had called several companies for quotes, but Champion AC was the only one that provided a thorough inspection of our unit and provided a detailed explanation for the work recommended. Much better the douches at Ike's. We will definitely be using Champions again!

A close friend of mine just went through a nightmare with this company. They weren't able to get her 10 year old furnace issue figured out and then just tried to sell her a new one. Come to find out the repairs were outlined and covered 100% in a recall from the manufacturer. She had my recommended Heating company come out and complete the needed repairs, which they did, and did not charge her a dime!
They said that her furnace was as good as new and that the manufacturer would reimburse them for the parts and labor. My friend said her furnace has never run so good in years. Stay clear of this company they do not know what they are doing!

My heater was working but not properly, I knew at some point it would quit working. So I finally took the time to have someone come out and look at it. I called and Matt said he could have someone out the next day and that he could call me in the morning as to when they would show up. Matt called first thing that morning and said I would be the second stop and he would call when the technician was on his way and that it should be a couple hours.
He called at 10 and the tech was there by 10:30. After doing some troubleshooting he found the thermostat was not working properly, he had a basic thermostat on his truck, I wanted a programmable thermostat and that was a job I could do. So I was able to go to the store pick the thermostat and install it myself saving the labor cost.

Amazing Service! I am 6 months pregnant and our AC broke last night, Joe called us back promptly but explained the difference in charges since we were concerned it would break our bank. So we decided to wait on the repair, he told us Mike would follow up with us the next morning, Mike gave us a call, we knew they were busy and they really couldn't get us in today but when my boyfriend explained how hard it is for either of us to get away from our jobs Mike showed up to fix the air. GREAT PRICE.GREAT SERVICE.I would recommend them to anyone and will. As new homeowners we have definetly found a local company that we will call in the future.

Call CH&A first! You will be glad you did. Their service is prompt, professional, and exact to quotation. "5 Stars" (I'd give him more if it were possible) for their service technician Dave. He knows what he's doing, is a true professional, and exceptionally courteous. He's the best I've met. Get's the job done quickly, and fixes the problem.

So when I asked the repair man how much it would cost since he believes the furnace needed a cleaning his response was $90 an hr ok so if he got here at 8:45 & finishes at 9:45 why did I get charges 1 1/2hrs when I asked about it I was told 20 minute travel time & time to fill out paperwork. This was not the first time they have been here but the first time I was charged for "drive time". It's working but really $45 more.
I called and said yep they do but will look into it. Yea right! Well since this post the owner called & rectify the problem with a refund check of $45 to keep an ongoing customer. Guess yelp does work. But I'm glad that it was take. Seriously!

I called Champaign Heating and Air about 6 months ago when my AC unit stopped working on a weekend, right before we were expecting houseguests. (Surprise!) They were very honest and up-front about their pricing for weekend service calls, and suggested that I wait until Monday to have someone diagnose the issue. Dan, their service technician, showed up right on time and took the time to explain the issue (failed blower motor) and our options for repair or replacement.
There was no high-pressure sales pitch, and we were provided several price options for either repair of the blower or replacement with a new furnace. Ultimately, we decided to replace the 13-year-old furnace with a far more efficient model. The staff are very knowledgeable about all the rebates and tax breaks that are available for getting a more energy-conscious appliance.
Our install was scheduled within a reasonable time period. The installing technician took his time adapting the new unit to our existing ductwork, and sealed everything very precisely and carefully. I would rather pay someone for more time and have the work done right when it's supposed to last for 10 years or more. The technician drilled 2 new holes in the side of our house to vent the unit (new code says we couldn't use a metal flue), and cleaned up his mess and placed the vent in a nice inconspicuous place.
We received instruction on how to program our new thermostat (included with the install.) 6 months later, we received a complimentary fall check-up by Dan, who gave us a few tips on how to diagnose some common furnace issues and avoid a service call. We've been happy with Champaign Heating and Air, and would recommend them to anyone.

I have used Champaign Heating and Air in my commercial retail business many times for both air conditioning repair and refrigeration maintenance and repair. They dependably come quickly, efficiently deal with my problem, and give me straight answers to my questions. They have always been fair on pricing and charges. Several times they have gone beyond my expectations for service personnel.
It has been years since I have called anyone else for repairs so I hate to say that no one else is as good, but from my previous experience with other HVAC service companies I was so often disappointed or even felt "taken". I have never felt that way with Champaign Heating.
