Haley Mechanical

Haley is the only place we contacted that speaks the language of split systems. If you live in an older house with under-designed duct work, one of these systems can be a lifesaver. Traditional forced air just isn't made for some of these places. These new systems place a 'head' in any room you need, and connect to a central unit. They set us up with a 'hyper heat' system for less than someone was going to do just the heat pump.

Their professional crew descended on our house and jammed the install. Very professional crew who really know what they're doing. They scheduled us quicker than any other place we talked to. Most were quoting many weeks out. Overall we're very very happy. Highly recommend. Sometimes you just get the feeling that you're in good hands from little cues that you pick up. That's how I felt in this instance.

We had multiple companies come to quote adding A/C to an existing house without it. Don from Haley spent the most time with us, listened to how we used the house and the yard, and came up with several ideas that no one else had suggested. The final system was both simpler and impacted the house far less than what others had proposed. The installation crew was very professional, clean, did a great job, and came in under the initial quote. The system performs fantastically and we are very happy!

Haley Mechanical did an amazing job installing our new Daiken furnace and air conditioner. Our technicians, Erich and Marc, were professionals! They arrived promptly, protected our flooring and carpeting and immediately got to work. Both Erich and Marc were friendly and answered any and all questions. Anything they needed to move, was put back. When the job was completed, nothing was left behind except for our new Daiken system. We were instructed how to use the new furnace and thermostat. Without hesitation, we would highly recommend Haley Mechanical, and our installation team.

Our old condenser had a leak after 15 years. The experience with Haley was fantastic, from the sales process that provided a lot of helpful information to the installation. Connor and Mahan did the installation quickly, professionally and thoroughly. Haley Mechanical is not the least expensive company out there. Instead, they provide very high quality service, high quality hardware and courteously, knowledgeable certified installers. We know that the job was done well and correctly. We would not hesitate to recommend them!

Our A/C was not cooling. Since it was on Memorial day, they charged me $225 just to come to my place and look at the compressor outside and say everything is frozen. So they can't diagnose and it will take 2 days for it to defrost (when the outside temp is between 80 to 95 F). Just checking with other vendors, I was told 24 hours is enough. When I got the invoice, the tech has written that he is advising to follow up after 4 days.

Absolute rip off. They charged me for a premier service as it was holiday but I won't know the issue until after 4 -5 or more than a week? What is premier service about this? Just to drive to my house and spend 5 mins to charge me $225? I have a small kid at home and temperatures are over 90F.

Very responsive, friendly and competent place. Jim, the plumber who came to my house, was very helpful and pleasant. And when I thought something was wrong a few days later, he came back out and explained the matter (new sump pump functioning different from my prior one). No charge and said he'd come again for no charge if anything else came up. What more can you ask for?

Haley Mechanical installed a Mitsubishi Hyper Heat and Heat pump system in our home. Haley offers exceptional customer service from the office staff, the sales rep, Don, to the installers. A big shout out to installers, Damon C.,C hase E., and Ryan S. They are professional, knowledgeable, competent, courteous, friendly, efficient, and their workmanship was top notch.

They always cleaned up at the end of the day, always took the time to answer questions, and they even finished ahead of schedule. I am extremely satisfied with the Mitsubishi system, the job from start to finish, and all the employees I interacted with. I highly recommend this company.

Very easy to schedule our new toilet install. The tank had apparent cracked from the shipper. Haley came back out to install the replacement tank and didn't charge extra. Will call these folks again when we next need hep.

Day one of two for install of new furnace and ac. New furnace is on now, it is much more quieter, air intake and and vent output is so much stronger than the 18 year old furnace we had. The appointment with Kyle sold us on why to use Haley Mechanical and the Daikin system. Kyle walked the whole house, understood what we were looking for/issues we were having and offered multiple options, all while explaining what each option would do for us.

The install team of Connor and Erich, great people. Professional, polite and I can tell they like what they do and take pride in their work. You will have to find out why for yourself If you get them on your install or service call they are fantastic. Day two is the condenser and a few other things on the order. Yes it is new and much more improved than our old, and I can tell right away the difference, but it is the service, the smile and all around genuine care they all have.

Day two happened, again Connor and Erich were very professional, walked me through the work they did on day 2. Showed me a few other things they did compared to what we had. They even replaced the whole house humidifier pad (it needed it but I wasn't expecting that). I highly recommend Haley Mechanical. I can't say enough about them and the products they put in for us. We are already noticing a difference in noise reduction and how easy it is to use the new thermostat and app. Thank you again to Kyle, Connor & Erich!

I subscribe to the VIP program so that they remind me when I need to service my furnace, water heater, and AC unit. Rob just came over to do routine service and troubleshot many other things around the house while he was here. He saw that I was wearing a mask and offered to wear one without my asking. He was even great with my anxious dog! They are always knowledgeable and do great work! I only wish that they had an online portal so I could see my work history and billing status online. But at least they do email billing and quotes.

Great reliable local place. John came promptly on a Friday evening and replaced our broken pump. Prices are reasonable compared to other places we called, and our utility room was clean after the job was done. John also provided some additional useful advice to maintain things in good shape for the future. We definitely recommend.

We were impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of the work done by Damon, Chase, and Ryan over the two days of installation. Upon arrival, they ensured our floors and stairway was protected and meticulously cleaned up after their work each day. All of our questions were cheerfully addressed and we are thrilled with our new equipment! The tech was on time, considerate (about masking and keeping house clean), and most importantly he got my system back up and running. He both had the part he needed and took the time to make sure nothing else was wrong. All around good job!

Haley gave me a personalized quote after a careful review of my unique situation for a boiler replacement. They honored their word to do the work during a future week, and they did the job in the estimated 2 days. They worked efficiently and carefully. They cleaned up as they went, and they made an effort to protect my floors and staircase. The workers were personable and polite, including Dave, Teddy, and Cole.

The piping layout and other equipment seem to be top notch. I liked that they made a commitment to return in the future to troubleshoot, should the need arise, and they include a 1-year maintenance visit at no cost in the original install price.

We went with Haley mechanical when our heat stopped working a week ago because they were the first to call us back and when you have a baby you want it fixed ASAP. Their fix worked for less than a week. We just got back from out of town and it's not working again so I called them and they said we have a fee on Sundays so you should wait until tomorrow morning. Editing my review.

I was extremely unhappy last night. But when I called this morning the receptionist was so nice and worked hard to get someone out to me first thing this morning. The technician who came out was very friendly and diagnosed the issue immediately.

They're great always, they go the extra mile to make sure it's right. Only thing that sucks is every time I call them for anything it's like a month before they can get someone out. But if you can wait their work is awesome. Service: HVAC maintenance

Outstanding on all counts! I just purchased a new boiler and a new A/C system. The detailed estimates were more informative than any others I got. The installers were competent, hard-working, and pleasant. Inside my house they were careful to cover the floors when they were working and cleaned after they finished for the day. The exposed plumbing for the boiler is neat enough to show off to visitors!

Austin and Avery installed a new furnace and air conditioner. The piping and wiring were done exceptionally well. My basement is finished with drywall ceilings. Auston was still able to find a way to run the required tubing with almost no impact on my drywall ceiling. Both guys did great work and had great attention to detail. I paid for a toilet to be installed incorrectly, then the plumber ruined my toilet and I had to purchase a new one. The new plumber removed and installed. I was charged for that (two more hours). Total charge $875! Biggest rip off and haley was not willing to stand behind their issues.

My HVAC is old and I want to do a diagnostic and budget for a new one in case it fails. So I call Haley Mechanical but my experience is terrible. The technician is knowledgeable but I'm deeply unsatisfied with the customer service. (1) Their email says I can respond to the email, but nobody really responds my questions until I call them. It seems that they are not aware of the emails *ever*.

They always need me to call them and never remembers my question. (2) They always claim they can submit the DTE rebate form, but never submits it even *after I call them twice*. The customer service said she was not responsible for it and transferred me to a voicemail. (3) I told them I also want a quote for a new HVAC system so that I can budget for it.

But they are not able to do it in the same visit of diagnostic. I do not want them to come again since I'm scheduling service during COVID. I feel they only want to charge me $150 for the visit but never care about the customers any more, since I'm not interested in installing a new HVAC *now*. But there could be different reasons.

Why did I suffer through overpriced underwhelming service before with some of the most expensive equipment in my house? Bought a new furnace from Haley when mine went out just before Thanksgiving. Best decision ever. After other places "fixed" stuff only to have it fall apart a week or so later, it has given me peace of mind to have the experienced, knowledgeable and friendly people at Haley programmed into my phone for all HVAC emergencies. Love this company.

I had a great experience with Haley Mechanical. Jessica & Kelsey were wonderful over the phone. They were kind, professional, & helpful. I had a potentially dangerous electrical issue and Kelsey told me what to do to ensure we were safe and scheduled an electrician to come out right away. I called at 10:30 a.m. and the problem was resolved the same day by 1:00 p.m. Matt the electrician was friendly and professional. The price was completely reasonable. I highly recommend this company and I will call them again in the future when I need electrical work.

Fantastic service! Arrived even earlier than promised. Worker was terrific - he explained what he was working on, and worked efficiently and carefully. Work space was left remarkably clean when finished. And the price was fantastic -- I had similar work done a few months ago in Florida at almost twice the price. Recommend highly.

On time and clean work while replacing a hot water heater. Glad I didn't have to haul the old one. Had an expansion tank installed as part of the replacement. After work was completed, I called Haley to ask if a support for the expansion tank was required. They stated no, but would have a specialist come out and install one anyway. I just had a gas line ran for a gas fireplace and they are very professional and kind. The guy went above and beyond my expectations and even installed the gas logs for me and made sure everything was in working order before he left. I would highly recommend Haley Mechanical A+ Thank you very much

I called because my elderly father had knocked the toilet loose not realizing how much weight he was putting on the grab bars and they got out there and fixed it immediately. They really understood how important it was.

Called on a Sunday afternoon and service person was here within the hour! Problem solved! Will use again!

My furnace stopped working on one of the coldest nights of the year. I was so grateful for Ken and Mike. They spent an entire Saturday installing my new one. They were super professional, and careful not to get my new carpet dirty. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again myself.

Needed to get my dryer's gas line up to code. The entire experience was good- from scheduling the appointment to the actual job. Ken was great- he made sure I understood what he was doing & he was good with my dogs. Highly recommend!

I just purchased a complete Lennox furnace/AC system from Haley and couldn't be happier. The installation went smoothly, the system works perfectly, and the office staff has been extremely helpful in getting me my various rebates. Thoroughly professional service all around.

We moved in and smelled gas when using the oven. After calling Consumers, they determined we had two gas leaks. We called Haley Mechanical and they came out that day! Their technician was excellent- fixed the problems and told me what he was doing, and the price was more than fair. Will definitely use them again if we ever need more work done in the future! I am only basing this review on the salesman. I did not have any work performed. We wanted a price for a new furnace and A/C. Tom came out today 2/20/19. Went downstairs to look at the furnace and I said I wanted an 80% furnace. He looked at me if I was crazy and said " why do you want an 80%? I explained and he said " I only sell high efficiency", " we rarely install 80%".

His words, not mine. But i'm sure the business will say he never said that. That's fine, but I"M the customer and that is what I wanted! Don't try and sell me something I don't want. Out of the 3 other companies I called, none of them tried to convince me to do high efficiency. So, guess who's not getting the job?

Called at 8am to have someone come out to my mobile home to have a possible frozen pipe inspected, was told someone would be out around "lunch, or the after noon" Finally received the phone call around 5:30, that they where about 30 minutes out. Then received a second phone call saying that they didn't know why dispatch didn't tell me that they aren't insured to do work on mobile homes, but they won't be coming out.

I work an overnight shift, so at this point I had waited up from 8am, to 6pm. after having worked all night. I'll have to take a personal day as it's almost 24 hours now since I last slept, and I'll be losing my overtime tomorrow. tl;dr They don't work on mobile homes, and don't always inform you to that fact.

When I bought my 90-year-old home, I was pretty clueless about what I was getting myself into. Fortunately, I have been able to call on the great team at Haley Mechanical to repair (the many) problems as they have arisen. I have used their services for a new hot water heater, new air conditioner, furnace problems, and to replace my main water and sewer lines.

With every visit, I consistently find the servicemen to be polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I have never felt "taken advantage of" in that I feel like all suggested repairs have always been reasonable/warranted, and I have been educated each time about what I can do to maintain the work myself. The work space is always meticulously maintained with drop clothes, and to my untrained eye, the work is always top-notch.

I have heard criticism that their prices are on the "higher end, " but to be honest, I always know that I am receiving the absolute best quality with Haley Mechanical, so for me, the extra is worth it. In my opinion, Haley Mechanical delivers time and again top notch equipment and service, and I give them my highest recommendation! If I had a house to build, they would be my guys - - Then again, they have nearly rebuilt the "guts" of this one already! Thank you, Haley!
