Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness Please do not use this business. I had requested a quote for simple furnace installation and the manager there asked for pictures of the area. He chose to not respond after acting all interested in the job. He has no class so beware of this poor business. I would rate them a zero if possible.

I had a issue with my boiler and required service to replace the circulating pump. Joe came prepared and recommended a new pump and motor assembly that is a recommended replacement for the old one. He installed and tested and completed the work in a hour. I was pleasantly surprised when he handed me the bill. I thought about replacing and doing the work myself but glad I called them instead.

Been a customer of Quality Heating and Cooling for several years now and they've always been there for us in our greatest times of need. Most recently we were facing a mysterious burning smell in our AC unit and shut off the unit out of safety concerns; however, with my wife 1 week away from her due date, not having AC during these 90 degree Michigan days was a no-go. Thankfully Quality sent over tech Tim Dennis who reviewed the issue, informed us we needed a new part and ran to grab the part and had it up and running again all within a matter of an hour or so.

So here we are from having an issue in the early morning to having it diagnosed and fixed and a very happy wife done within a few hours and at a very reasonable price. Thank you to the quality team and especially Tim for being so efficient and courteous!

Worst experience ever with a company! I was referred this company to handle my heating and cooling for the addition I was putting on my upper level. The problems began immediately when my install appointment was cancelled because I did not return their call on Friday to confirm for the Monday appointment AND I had not paid the first half payment up front.

I was working a double shift that Friday and the message was left on my home phone so I did not get the message until later that night. When I called on Monday to see if they were still coming, the owner Sandra was extremely curt saying I hadn't paid the first half which I explained that nobody had mentioned until the message on Friday and I wasn't home to do anything about it.

She was almost unwilling to reschedule which I could not understand why she was so upset so I had to wait another MONTH before getting back on the books. I wish I would've taken this as an omen to find another company but I'd already put a bit of time and effort working with Tim on how to run the ducts to be hidden in the walls and another person had suggested doing zones which Tim said he could do so I decided to still go with them.

The first guy to come out was an older gentleman.not really excited about doing the work. It seemed he was too old to do this kind of physical work and was almost too much effort. The fan ductwork he installed for my new upstairs bathroom failed inspection which should've been another clue (how can you mess up ductwork for a fan in an open ceiling with no insulation or drywall?) The next visit, another guy put his foot through my living room ceiling creating a nice sized hole that had to be patched.

The guys installing vents/air returns somehow cut through the crown molding in the living room never telling me which I discovered on my own. I found guys cutting long pieces of ductwork on my brand new hardwood flooring not putting anything down to protect my floor from getting scratched! I tried to be understanding and take this all in stride knowing that "accidents happen" but they were starting to stack up.

After my new furnace was installed and the new air conditioner dropped off, the other half was demanded to be paid up by Sandra. I said I would pay all but the last $1K to make sure that everything was done before the final payment. You would've thought I threatened to not pay anything for the way the conversation went with her. She started accusing me and threatening me saying she was going to take me to court and the whole 9 yards but I was firm and said that I would pay all but the last 1K. Tim did a good job at engineering how to put in the ductwork and air vents/returns to be hidden in the walls but my only issue with Tim is that he failed at putting the zones in properly to make a home with various levels comfortable (the whole point of putting in zones). Having a quad level, the various levels get hotter in the summer as you go up.

He put the 2 hottest rooms and the coldest room one the same zone so it's impossible to be comfortable in any of those rooms at the same time. Either you roast in one and freeze in the other or vice versa. His suggestion to me was to stand on my couch to manually shut off the vents each season. I'm in my mid 50's with back issues and that is not physically advisable nor is that how I treat my furniture.

I asked to have that zone redone but was met with refusal. Had he gone over this with me beforehand we would've come to a workable agreement. The following winter, the new furnace kept fouling up and I had to have their service guy come out to see what was wrong (under warranty). The 3rd time Sandra refused to send someone out to look at it because she was demanding final payment.

I refused to pay the last $1K because the zone hadn't been fixed and I had to pay the repairs for what the guys screwed up. I had to call a different HVAC company to come out (even tho I was still under warranty from Quality which they refused to acknowledge) to fix the furnace issue which they were able to fix the first time. OMG! Today, I had someone help me move my china hutch that was in my living room only to discover that when they put the ductwork in my crawl space that they butchered and hacked up my brand new hardwood living room floor and cut into the bottom of my china hutch!

This is not something I would've ever noticed until moving the hutch. This company is so awful I have absolutely nothing nice to say about them and now I have to find someone who can master some wizardry in fixing my floor. Fortunately I still have some of this flooring left. STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Tuesday We were planning on getting a new central air and furnace replaced at end of summer or early fall. Being a person who does a lot research I found Bryant to be a top notch brand made by Carrier. We were impressed with Quality saleman Timewho was not only friendly than rivals but also quoted a better deal. However in early July 2021, right before the 90 degree weather our central air went out.

We called up and talked to Quality on Friday July 2nd and on July 5th they came out and installed both a new Bryant furnance and a new Bryant Central. They removed our old units and expertly installed our new system in the same day. The installlers were supe. Steve & Matt arrived at the promised time and worked very hard in the heat to expertly install the new system and get it up and running.

This is one few times my wife and I have bought something and it greatly exceeded our expectations. I recommend Quality Heating and Cooling if you need a furnance or central airconditioner. Truly, Christopher Carpenter of Canton, Michigan.

Julio did a great job getting our furnace working as well as reviewing the operation of the furnace and AC. he also suggested some things we could do to secure the AC unit and furnace exhaust.

Our AC decided to die on one of the hottest weeks of the year. We called Quality since we had a service contract with them for seasonal AC+furnace inspections. They came out the next day and discovered that the issue was worse than they thought and they didn't carry that particular part. They moved very quickly to order the part and get it installed the next day. Service people were very nice and professional and now our house is cool. Very pleased with this experience.

Can't say enough about this company. Our AC unit died on 7/4. I called numerous companies to get a speedy install and was consistently told 3 weeks. My daughter has MS and heat is a big issue for her symptoms. When I got ahold of Quality and explained the situation they were all over it. By 7/6 at 9:00am the installers were there! It is nice to know that there are still companies like Quality that help those in need.

My family is very thankful for the kind, compassionate and caring employees of Quality. They even called after the install to check in my daughter. We will recommend them to everyone! Thank you again Quality. Much appreciated.

I was all set up with these guys to have a complete furnace and ac installed in my new construction home there was a signed contract and they where supposed to come and start. The day they where going to start they told me they all of the sudden couldn't install my system because there company couldn't handle the work load. Thanks for the major inconvenience. Don't believe a word these people say.

Top notch service from Quality! I would 100% recommend this company. Extremely responsive to customer inquiries and in some cases they have been able to provide same day or next day service to my residence. Exceptional and friendly service technicians. This is the ONLY heating & cooling company that I will ever use! I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!

Very disappointed! I've used this company for two years (ie. under contract) and always had pleasant experiences with them.until recently. I called about my AC not working and they got someone out to me the next day, however the technician was not friendly at all! He was at my house a total of three minutes and I was charged 150.00 for replacing a part. When I went out to look at my AC he left a screw on the ground as well as the old part.

Called this morning for a service call because my furnace wouldn't come on. They gave me a time the same morning and the technician was here on time. He was polite, well spoken and neat. He detected and corrected the problem in no time and explained to me exactly what he did to correct it. The charge was very reasonable. This is the second time Quality has helped me out. (The first was with my A/C on an extremely hot weekend.) I would recommend them to anyone.

Seems like these guys are ok for simple jobs like filter changes and cleaning. They scheduled my new furnace install but did not show up. I called them multiple times to schedule it again, but every time they said they would call me back, but never did.

I have had Quality heating out to my house several times through the years and they have been very honest with me and always fixed my problem. I definitely would refer them to my friends and family. And they also did some new duct work for my A.C when I finished my backporch, which I was very please with.

On Sunday I discovered water under our indoor A/C unit. After recommendations for both Quality and Advanced, I called Advanced first Monday morning and they were able to come out right away. But, their tech was a bit clueless and couldn't find my drain (on a 13 year old unit). They wanted to install a new drain and pump to deal with the water.

I allowed them to mop up the water and then called Quality for a second opinion. My parents recommended Quality to us as they had installed the HVAC in their home in 2007 and had helped them with ductwork when they finished the basement a few years later. Quality came out this afternoon in the appointment window (1-3, he was here by 2 & done by 2:45).

The tech immediately found the drain that stumped the other tech and said the trap was probably clogged. After opening up the unit, he discovered that yes the trap was clogged so the system couldn't drain. He built a new trap and gave us a clean out which we didn't have before. Even though the trap was our problem, he still checked our refrigerant levels and inlet and outlet temperatures. Both were fine. I wish I had called Quality first. We'll definitely call them back for other repairs.

Update to Sandra's post: you only offered to send out a Bryant representative contingent upon us taking this review down. We are free to review a business as we so choose if we feel service is not up to par, you cannot threaten and blackmail your customers to take a review down. Yes, you have been to our house numerous times, as I stated in my original review, and yet the problem still isn't fixed.

We have told you the AC still makes a banging noise, yet you're still denying this? Unreal. We actually had a separate contractor come give a second opinion and he feels we do not need a humidifier. Sounds like another excuse to me because your company doesn't want to take accountability to fix the problem. Our builder even told you guys to just install a new system. Your willingness to argue with your customers on a public forum just proves your lack of integrity and customer service.
