The office manager knows her thing. She helped me figure out what I needed, and provided me with the materials to study over. In addition to that, she went above and beyond to explain some things I did not understand. Great job!

I have had nothing but positive experiences with both the office staff and technicians over almost 20 years. Joe was once again assigned as the technician to perform an annual check of my a/c unit. He is extremely knowledgeable and very service oriented. He provided a recommendation to increase the longevity of my unit and he also worked with me and front office staff to provide an estimate for furnace replacement. Since the service address is my second home I especially appreciate the flexibility of this company to accommodate my scheduling needs.

I don't normally write reviews but I was so impressed with the service I felt I should. We had our furnace and ac replaced and the technicians and the office staff made it so easy. We were informed of the time of arrival and they were right on time. They helped us through the rebate procedure and setting up inspections which was so helpful as we were going through a stressful time.

They called several weeks later to set up the ac start up and let me know when the technician would be there along with a picture of the gentleman that would be coming. Robert showed up on time and was the most pleasant and friendly guy. It made me happy to see someone working and have such a good disposition. Thanks and job well done!

UPDATE: Lisa, the office manager had got in touch with me to discuss my review. She had indidcated that the model in question was not discontinued, and she even sent me the specs for the unit for me to exam and for another model. I will respectfully review the specs, do some research and make a decision. I will update my review again if necessary.

I did appreciate the phone call. I am surprised by the service I had received from A to Z Heating and Cooling. I knew my air conditioner was in need of repair from a former inspecdtion by a company whose owner has now pasted away. I researched other companies and chose A to Z based on their reviews. The service I received was less than steller. The tech found that I needed a new fuse. Changed it out. But.before turning on the unit, he should have checked the condenser and all its moving parts beforehand.

He did not and instead turned on the system, and the fan rotated inside the shell and bent and destroyed all the cooling coils. This action has caused me to now purchase an entire new ac unit. The fan blade should have been inspected, and I think that would have been all I needed to replace. I received the quote for a new unit. The tech wrote up the quote, BUT it was for a discontinued model. He never stated it was a discontiued model, nor did the quote reflect it. The price was up there for a discontinued model. Very disappointed.

This is the second time I have had to call A to Z for gas leaks and both times they have been amazing. They arrived quickly and repaired our pipes with no issues. I 100% recommend this company for all of your needs.

Service itself was great. Quick and friendly technician who knew what he was doing. Heat back and working within an hour. Only problem was how long it took to get here. Was given a window of 9a-1p. Tech showed up around 2:30. Not his fault, and I know they're short staffed like everyone is right now, but staying in the time frame would have been nice. Overall would recommend them.

Just replaced my humidifier from this place. Amazing customer service, very knowledgeable and friendly. This place I would say knows exactly what customer service is all about. The fact that I received a text with an image of the technician that was arriving to work on my property, that is a absolute win and that I hope and wish all companies do. Oh let's not forget their. their pricing was lowest from other previous companies a called. Bottom line, you definitely get your moneys worth with this place, from service to product.

John a very friendly service tech who works here with A-Z, fixed our furnace.we thought but lasted few hours. Got a 2nd different company but said way too much problems need new furnace. Got a 3rd serviceman who replaced the motor. Went 4 days without heat over the weekend. Wasted our money on service calls on first 2 servicemen from different companies.

Amazing company. Highly recommend this place. They came out on an emergency We had no heat. They came out the next morning and fixed the boiler at our church. We were having a funeral and A to Z came out just in time real early in the morning had the place heated up before we arrived. I absolutely love them they turned a terrible situation into a beautiful funeral. Thank you from the bottom of my heart you all were amazing. I cannot thank you enough.

As usual, this exceptional business came through yet again. I called them yesterday because I had water all over my floor. They came around 1om today and quickly fixed my condensate pump. I am ALWAYS happy with this business. They are always courteous, professional and competent. Joe went above and beyond by not only unplugging the condensate line, but also took apart my pump and cleaned it thoroughly. He didn't have to do that. I strongly recommend A to Z Heating and Cooling.

Had A to Z install a new a/c unit. And maintenance on my furnace. A receptionist called to inform me that Joe, a service technician was on the way. This I thought was very helpful. Joe explained what needed to be done, answered all my questions. Came back on Saturday to finish the job. The work was thorough, and you receive an emailed service report. I would recommend A to Z. Ask for Joe.

Technician arrived within appointment time. He was well dressed and friendly. Diagnosed issue quickly and gave me option for repair and costs. Once completed cleaned up work area and left no trash. Do not use this company! Service guy came out when our wall furnace in family room went out during worst cold snap in years. Guy said it was ignitor, charged me $85 for the service call, and that's the last I ever saw or heard from this company of grifters. I called and left messages and no response EVER. This happened a couple years ago but I still feel so strongly about these shysters that when I saw their name come up during a google search I felt I owed it to other potential customers to hear what a shoddy company this is. Can't believe they're still in business!

We started having issues with our air conditioning not cooling the house intermittently. It was a difficult problem to diagnose and fix but every tech and install team that came out did everything in their power to make things work for us. Lisa in the office was nothing short of wonderful. She was extremely accommodating to our specific circumstances and was incredibly kind. I feel like her concern for the comfort of our family was almost as much as our own. Thank you A to Z, having an air conditioned home again is WONDERFUL.

On the first service call I had an ac part replaced at a very reasonable price. A couple days later my system stopped working again. A to Z came and checked it out for me and explained that earwigs cause problems inside the unit and nothing needed to be repaired this time. Each trip to my house the repairmen were friendly and explained everything so I could understand it. I trust this company to service my home.

When I made the decision to purchase a new heating/cooling system. A to Z by far out weighed their competitors. I recently experienced a situation that only GOD could come down and fix. However Joe, the service tech and Lisa, the office manager showed/expressed nothing but faith and pure compassion. They prayed for me and I prayed for me along with my prayer warriors about the situation, the next day GOD had this in control, if I could have given both Lisa and Joe a hug, I would.

These 2 individuals ong with many that I have spoken with a diamond's in the ruff and a true asset to A to Z. When I reference or speak to/about Lisa, I say that is the angel my parents sent to encourage me to go on. I will forever be grateful and thankful that GOD allowed me to select A to Z. In my opinion Lisa and Joe should be given the highest recognition that anyone at your company can receive. Signed a VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER.

Wish we would've seen Yelp reviews before calling this business. The furnace went out in our rental unit on a Saturday while we were out of town, so we called them. The communication was poor as far as when the technician could make it out but as we had already checked with another company who had no availability until Monday, so we just gave them the okay.

The tech didn't give us a heads up to let us know he was arriving as they said he would, and he initially diagnosed it as the control board needing to be replaced. We asked for a ballpark price and we're told around $485 including labor and $99 diagnostic trip. He could not tell us the price of the part and googled a similar one to come up with the estimate.

When he returned 2 days later to replace the part, he had suddenly decided that the gas valve also needed to be replaced and conveniently had that part with him! We then got the bill which came out to an astounding $1023 dollars. For reference, we just replaced the whole furnace in our primary residence with a high end unit 3x the size and whole house humidifier for $5,100, so a bill this size for this repair was highway robbery. Having no choice other than to start over, we told him to go ahead with part replacement. 3 weeks later, the furnace is having issues again.

We called another company, who said it was the limit switch (which was not tested by A to Z), they completed the repair for $134 and we've had no issues since. I cannot tell you enough to avoid this company at all costs.

They must take down the accurate reviews. Simply put, these people are criminals. $640 dollars to replace a blower motor when the furnace went out and the tech deliberately disconnects the wire to the AC hoping we would be foolish enough to trust them again and call them in the summer. Reading other reviews while they were still up, this seems to be routine operating procedure for these crooks. Don't trust them, let alone call them. Criminals

Worst company! Do not use to this company! They lie to you and do not follow through. They never notified me regarding having an inspection post A/C and Furnace install. I didn't know about the permits still open with the city until I tried to sell my home. I called the company looking for answers and "Jerry" who claims to run the company called me a liar. Stated he had sent me a letter and that i was lying about never receiving them. If "Jerry" really does run the company, he is a fraud and a con-man as well as the most unprofessional person I have ever talked with.

In the beginning of our experience I would give them 5 stars. By the end after having to deal with them numerous times and rudeness from a couple of workers and the manager that rating deflated dramatically. I just hope nothing goes wrong in the next twenty or so years so I don't have to deal with them. Five stars though to Chris!

Do not waste your time with this company. Had an estimate done the first week of October to have some vents moved. After several calls to try to schedule the work to be done we were told it would be three weeks out. Day before appointment I call to confirm. I was transferred to a couple of different people then told I would get a call right back. Two hours later I call them back to be told in a very rude manner I am not on the schedule and now have to wait until after Christmas. I am only leaving one star as zero stars is not an option.

Had an appointment 7 days from the time I called. Yikes, I know its a bad time of year for AC repair but thats a bit far. Should have called others. So the day of the appointment comes and they tell me "he will call when he's on his way to your house". So I go up to the Saturn store up the street knowing that if he calls I can be home in 4 minutes.

No call, leave a note on the door. Okie dokie, reschedule. Same thing, "he will call when he's on his way". Ok, so I wait around till 2pm (doors open, waiting). I call them. "Oh, you're next", ok. Never calls, never shows. Get a phone message from them around 5pm that says "call us back to cancel or reschedule". So, I sat here all day with the door open waiting and no one shows and they are gonna tell me I wasn't home (I haven't called yet, and shouldn't I am done with them). But. I mean.come on.

Life savers! Great service and a knowledgeable service technition. My AC went out on an 86 degree day, I have pets and I was freaking out. I called A to Z Heating & Cooling and they had someone out in a few hours. Kent, the service tech, had it working within a few hours. Did I mention my AC unit is 28 years old? Words cannot express how grateful i am. Prices are reasonable too. I recommend them to anyone who needs reliable service without getting ripped off.

I had a really positive experience with them about a week ago. About 5 years back I had them install a new furnace & AC. It's been running great until just about a week ago when the furnace wouldn't work on a Saturday night (bad timing.) I called for after-hours service, reached their answering service, and they contacted a tech for me. When I got the call back and described the problem, they explained that this was probably just a dirty flame sensor and is a very easy and quick repair.

I asked "How easy & quick? Is this something I should be doing myself?" While they were prepared to head over to fix my furnace, they explained where the sensor is located and how to clean it. I removed it, cleaned it, put it back in, and the furnace immediately fired back up and has been working great! No visit necessary! I called them back to ask where I need to send the case of beer (they politely declined). They also mentioned which spare parts I might want to have on-hand just in case my furnace ever decides to leave me in the cold at the wrong time.

We have been using this company for over a decade, and always with good results. Unfortunately, that ended today. A to Z has proven to be a fair weather company - all is fine when things go well, but they lack integrity when the going gets tough. We had a furnace installed that took three separate visits to correct. The installers had to cut out all the PVC THREE times to get it right, and there was a leak they had to come back to fix.

In addition, they ruined our flooring by spilling purple primer in multiple places. We asked for a reduced bill in the amount it would take to replace the floor only, and they threatened to take us to court if we didn't pay them. They finally agreed to knock a little off the bill but damage done. Not only will we never work with this company again, we will make sure that everyone knows this company doesn't take care of their customers or compensate for damage they cause.

Dealt with them twice, the first time I had to have someone come back out multiple times to fix the problem. The second time I dealt with a technician named Ken who was rude over the phone, told me one price when he came and looked at the furnace and then tried to charge me double after he ordered the part. Avoid at all costs.

Purchased a furnace inducer motor, tried to return it in less than 24 hours. Part was CLEARLY uninstalled and unused. In fact the parts guy is the one who opened the box. Not me! Now I suspect this was their way of insuring no return. Tried to return it and parts guys said no, cant do it after telling me the day before if I could prove it was unused the manager would consider the return.

The worst part of this transaction wasn't the fact that they wouldnt return the part, but its the fact that the manager would not come from the back after I drove 15miles back to the store. He was was allegedly too busy, at opening of business. What does that say to a customer? Even if you had no intent on issuing a refund, why would he not even come address a customer who has done business with them in the past, but will not do any in the future. Burned for $160.00 Had intentions on using this company for almost 4k. in rental property work. We all lose!

Horrid customer service. They were able to squeeze in a service call during a very busy time, but when the time came to quote out a new AC unit, we thanked the sales rep (Jerry, the COO) and told him we would let him know. He got very upset with us and said "You are going to shop this? My guy said you wanted it done tomorrow. If I had known that I would have taken my other 5 appointments instead". Needless to say, even though he was the lowest price, we are not ever going to use this company for anything.
