Radiant Heat was great and have helped me now for many years. They put in my original boiler in 1990 (it was very efficient for that time.) They have since replaced that 30 year old boiler with another hard working efficient boiler. They also put in HVAC systems in two new buildings on our property. We had a lot of trouble with one of the systems.
But Scott and his crew were fantastic and diligent. After trying to work on that system realized there was something wrong and replaced it with a whole new system. They are a company that did the right thing! I can't say enough good things about them! thanks Team at Radiant Heating for helping me in a pinch and being so responsive and thorough! Sara

The radiant system looks neat and pretty and works, to some extent, but the heat pumps he installed for me made the bedroom wall vibrate which caused cracking and created a loud noise that was loud even with the windows closed. He charged me to have the unit moved off of the wall so that it would not damage the house, as the initial install did, and also charged me to replace all of the chemicals that leaked on the ground because he didn't secure the tubing.
See attached image of how he left the house with tubing spewing out of it (another contractor pinned them to the side of the house, so this is even the "cleaned up" version of the way things were left). I had to hire someone else, who he suggested, to complete his job and the line hides are already falling off less than a month later. He now says he no longer services my area and will not make sure the system is functioning well. All after I have spent upwards of $50,000 with him. Wow.

I've seen their work; went to many jobsites. We ended up not hiring them because our plans with the property changed. John is a STRAIGHT shooter and one of the best in the industry, nationwide - I know because we've been in the hydronics + HVAC industry for 30 years. To the dude who says that they charge too much - OK, I hope you're satisfied with work of lesser quality.
If you want a job done with expertise + precision -- beginning with a smart, energy-efficient design, and with comfort as the result - go with ARD. There are very few experts who bring what they do to the table.

If I could give no stars, I would. Let me count the ways that John Abularrage is full of it: 1) Told me my system would keep me warm in all temps. Nope, below about PLUS 15-20 degrees, it never did. 2) After the install was done, I found that his crack team of installers had left PEX piping hanging from a loop of baling wire - a sure invitation to future failure! Tacky, impossibly careless work throughout. 3) Just found out after 13 years that the condensation stack has a reverse slope, which caused condensation to pool in the pipe and created corrosion and other problems with my boiler.
This is a pathetic rookie mistake that, had he given a damn, he would have spotted right away. I don't think he ever inspected my install - but he's kind of damned if he did, or didn't. 4) Told me it would save money. Nope - burns propane like crazy - you need to run it all the time, because it takes SO LONG to heat the house up. 5) Always charged ruinous prices for service and repairs - the breaking point was when he insisted I needed a new valve for $600.00 - and KimLin came in, broke the line open, added a nipple to it, closed it for. $30.00! 6) His employees called him 'Johnny Extra', because he's always willing to tack on more bogus charges.
He pays them crap. They all hate him. Massive turnover too. 7) My system is now dead. It was never remotely reliable, economical, or green. It has broken down more times than I can count over the last 13 years, sometimes right after a service call! 8) Texted me at SIX AM to try and harass me into paying a disputed bill. 9) I wouldn't trust this man, or his work, or his promises, as far as I could throw him. I'd give them minus 5 stars, if I could.

They call it Advanced Radiant Design, yes, they are highly advanced in charges! 190 $/hr for wrapping pipe insulation, which can be done in 30 minutes but they need 4 hours. So, guess they are the same species as the sloth in zootopia! If you want to ruin your life, go hire them. They will suck you like a vampire!
