I moved into my apartment at the end of May last year and I went these guys. I went with them because I was told I would get a family discount because I have family in the same building who use these guys. January 2nd they come back and I had no idea they were coming because I never signed up for automatic refill or anything. Me and my girlfriend keep a close eye on our fuel and would have called when we needed it.
So they come and fill 342 gallons, which is much more than they filled the first time. And the bill was extremely high because I wasn't getting the rate I was told. Regardless what I was charged was just ridiculous. I call to speak with someone and they tell me I'm on auto refill, which I absolutely was not. They tell me I can get the discount if I stay on auto, which makes no sense since they already lied and said I was on it.
And they said if I stay on auto they will be back in March or April. If I made the visit last May last as long as I did(including winter) with less fuel and still didn't need it, why in the world would I need them to come back 2 or 3 months later after just filling 342 gallons? Needless to say I am no longer going to use them and we paid the ridiculous bill that we weren't even prepared for at the time.
If they didn't want to give me the price I was told I'd get that's fine, I can look elsewhere. But I don't like being lied to saying I signed up for something I know I didn't. You can find much better between price and customer service elsewhere

I've been a customer several years, maintaining payments up until late due to financial distress. I clearly expressed my dilemma and have paid as much, as soon as I can. The last couple of years, I've paid for service of my furnace, which never occurred. Through inquiry, they told me it was my responsibility to schedule and they will not reimburse. So, they got free money for service they didn't provide I paid $500 at the beginning of the year and they refused to fill my tank, because I couldn't pay the FULL bill.
My heat stopped working this past winter and when I called for service, no one showed and I had to end up calling another company. I had a child in the house at that time and clearly expressed that On Tuesday, unexpectedly, someone showed at my door, giving me 2 options. Pay $250, or have the tank removed I had no choice and now, I've lost the ability to cook for my child due to this. The very next day, I received a $150 bill for the tank removal Money hungry, avoid at all costs

Your service tech was here last week for our annual furnace inspection and servicing. I failed to get the young man's name, but he was thoroughly professional, courteous, and friendly. Between my mother and myself we have used Bottini Fuel for 10 to 12 years. We never had a problem over the years until now. The service people are great. Management, however, could be a little more accomodating. I have an issue going on and have no heat. Their service people, two of them at different times, have told me they would come back and help me with my heating stove.
Once I get the paperwork from the stove company to get a new part, Management said they wouldn't fill it out or replace the part once I received it. They know I have to have heat. It was 59f this morning. They didn't care. Won't even try to work with me. All that is needed is to take old part out and put new part.

Awful! I have paid the annual emergency service fee, now we have an emergency- they can't come to take care of the issue in a timely fashion. There was no communication as to when they can come, meanwhile, we freeze. Ended up hiring a plumber/heater expert to check the boiler as there is leaking water in the boiler. He replaced the valve/gasket but still no heat. Called Bottini again, we are not a priority at this point and I told them my pipe could freeze if they don't address this sooner and may burst and would be a bigger problem.
And of course 24 hours later, it burst and I have to spend more money to have this fixed. Had they addressed the problem 24 hours prior, I would not be in this situation. Looking for a different company at this point. I have been a loyal customer but when you need them, they were not there to help. Awful!
