We've been using heating oil delivery by Panco for more than 5 years now. Panco has reasonable prices and care about customers. Recently they've delivered heating oil three(!) times in smaller batches due to access issue by the bigger truck. We were happy they found a solution and we didn't ran out of oil. I would recommend them to investing into a longer hose :) Usually, delivery happens within 1-2 days after call.
We also understand that delays are possible due to weather/demand. E.g. our latest delivery was scheduled in 4 days after a call. But I would like to mention that it was not a problem for us since we monitor oil level and order while we still have enough for at least 10 days (based on our estimates). So far we are satisfied customers.

Ran out of propane, twice - both times after scheduling deliveries with them. I asked how we could avoid these issues in the future and was told that this "wouldn't be a problem if I signed up for automatic delivery." I did, and we just ran out of propane again the night before this last snowstorm. Because we had our gas powered dryer running in the basement, the house filled with fumes and we had to open our doors, losing heat.
When called about this, they apologized and said we would receive a delivery or a temp delivery tomorrow so long as our driveway was accessible and they had vehicles on the road. Our driveway has been plowed and we received nothing - called back and was condescended by the office clerk - it is now two days since our initial call and we still have no propane. Why did we sign up for automatic delivery, then? Avoid, avoid, avoid.

I have used them in the past for oil delivery. I have an account and normally just ask them to top my tank. My issue is contacting them. They have a general mail box to leave messages. I have done so 3 times over the last 2 weeks to schedule maintenance. No return call. I went with another service who promptly returned my call. How about setting up a web form or something for oil orders? I will give them another shot for oil delivery but they sorely need to update their office communication process.

I have had Panco service my boiler for many years. I know nothing about heating units and rely solely on the expertise of "reputable" businesses to help me make educated financially sound decisions. I have tenants that live in my condo. I am a professional business person and also a volunteer firefighter. My reputation is sound (see other reviews) and I always give the benefit of the doubt.
Whenever my tenants have an issue or need (especially when their are children) I always go above and beyond to resolve any problems and money is never an issue over safety. I Never had an issue with these folks at Panco until last year when I requested oil and an annual service. After this service, the boiler never ran the same again. My tenants complained about the heat, and of course I called Panco to come back and find out whats going on.
I was told it needed a "temperature valve", (I was told this was a law) and a lot of other miscellaneous work. I of course asked why this was never brought to my attention before prior to this.they lied and said they did. Anyway, they quoted me a price of no more than $525.00. I agreed. Then I got notification that they charged my card over $1100.00 (fraud).
They said their tech was there for extra hours.etc. My opinion after all this is that their technician did a poor job, or needs to be re-trained. I of course called, had a very uncomfortable conversation with them and they reversed the charge. I still had problems with the heat. Called them up to request them to come out and fix the problem, rectify and make it right.
They refused, most likely because they were upset that I fought the extra attempted charge. (retaliation). This entire ordeal has ended up costing over $2600.00, time off from work and a lot of aggravation. I am currently fighting their original charge. Up to you if you want to do business with these people. As always "BUYER BEWARE". I wish I didn't have to post this, but reviews do influence buying decisions, and the consumer should be aware of what others have experienced. I gave them plenty of opportunities to make this right, but they refused to work with me.

If you want to feel like you have family watching out for you, do business with Panco. Nick and his crew are the best. We just moved to NY from California and had no experience with oil heating. We had purchased our first delivery of heating oil from another company. We then called them again for our second delivery before a big storm was coming into the area.
We paid them. When the delivery still hadn't arrived the next week, I called the company-to-remain-nameless to let them know that our tank was down to less than 1/8 full. They said they wouldn't be able to help us, even though I'd already paid them. I called around for another company and found Panco! Best move ever. Even though it was snowing, and a regular tanker couldn't make it up our steep unplowed driveway, the owner sent out his top guy in a heavy-duty Ford truck with a small tank in the back and proceeded to fill our now empty tank with 75 gallons. They have been an absolute lifesaver, and they have our business from here on out.

This is one of the worst companies for customer service that I've ever experienced. They were supposed to cap our oil tank, instead cleaned and broke our furnace, took no responsibility, and did nothing to notify us of the problem other than putting a large red tag on the furnace. They've asked me to speak with the owner regarding my issue, and despite 4 calls to 2 different locations to try and track him down and 2 left voicemails, I have not received any calls back. Now that we've switched providers, they keep postponing the pick up of their tank.

After a fun weekend in NYC, hubby and I came home to a cold house, We immediately called Panco's emergency line. Within a few hours, Mark the technician arrived and fixed the problem which turned out to be our pump that died. The frigid weaner and storms set to arrive tomorrow could not come at a worse time. Thank you Panco!
