I called in the morning and by the afternoon Mike from Rochester heating and cooling came. He called beforehand and arrived on time. He was very polite, knowledgeable and thorough! He actually had serviced this same heating system since it was installed and knew the previous owners and history of the system. I appreciated that he tried to work through the problem starting with the cheapest fix.

He also provided recommendations but wasn't pushy. I am very pleased with Mike's work, prompt arrival and great communication. I'm glad I called Rochester heating and cooling. I can't speak for other workers but Mike was great and I'd certainly use their services again.

The original system was actually too large for the house. Mike took measurements and installed the correct heating and air conditioning system for our square footage. Rochester Heating and Cooling came out same day I called and assessed the situation. My blower had stopped working. Due to the age of my current furnace (28 years old) I was given information about options that were available. I decided to have my furnace replaced. Rochester Heating and Cooling installed a new blower so my family would be with heat until they were available for the installation which was only 3 days out.

The gentleman that came were neat and extremely efficient, and the whole process was completed in several hours. I also received a follow-up phone call asking if I had any questions or concerns.

A few years ago, I called to have my AC looked at. The repair of a 10 year old obselete system was nearly the cost of a new one, so I had them replace it. They loaned us a room conditioner during the time the newer system was installed. This week the igniter failed on the furnace. Within a few hours after I called, a new igniter was installed and the house was back to temperature on a 25F winter day. Are they the cheapest? - I can not say, but they are professional and completed the jobs in a timely manner, so I do recommend them.

Mike was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He took the time to answer my questions and he genuinely cares about making the customer comfortable and taken care of. I will most definitely use Rochester Heating and Cooling for all my hvac needs in the future.

Rochester Heating and Cooling came and took out our old fuel oil furnace that has been troublesome. They installed a new propane furnace where the old furnace was with no mess! They did a very good job of installing the new furnace and we are amazed how good it works. It is very clean burning and WHOOHOO no stink like the old furnace. Also it is much quieter than the old furnace and is 96 percent efficient reducing cost of operation. Thanks Rochester Heating and Cooling for such a good job.

I was very happy with installation of my furnace. The complete installation took less then 2 hours from start to finish. Employees were on time, very polite and courteous. When job was complete they took the time to make sure I was satisfied with the work they had done. My home was left spotless they cleaned up and broom swept. I would strongly recommend this company because they value their customers

Mike provided excellent informative service and after about 6 weeks of my furnace putting out cold air during November through midway December (shut off of course not continuous) I was glad to have called him to come over to help me out. I was a little taken back by the vacuum switch price but after all it was the culprit so again I was glad and I'm sure my cats were to have my heat back. Mike has installed two heating systems, one A/C a large hot water tank and lastly a tankless hot water heater. This work was done on the two homes we've owned here, if that amount of work doesn't tell you how we feel about Mike and Rochester Heating&cooling. Let me lastly say that most of this work was done when know one was home due to hectic work/school/life schedules, that's the trust earned by them! Enough said!

Mike, the owner, is like family. Always the epitome of professionalism in over 13 years of service. He always puts you at ease, and never pressures you into any work or parts that are not needed. You will be advised truthfully on your job and it's needs, and when work is actually needed. I even was willing to have some bearings replaced immediately, and Mike showed me the mechanics, stating no need to worry about now.

And if anything unforeseen does happen, he'll be there. Work done over the years: new furnace 2009, yearly maintenance, New thermostat(2).i broke one, and new fan motor recently(uncommon event after 11 years). Rochester Heating & Cooling are the experts and fully trustworthy!
