Isaac Heating and Cooling came to inspect our air conditioning system. Our technician, Jeff, called to give a 30 minute notice before he arrived. He was right on time and was very professional! Jeff cleaned the AC unit and made some adjustments that increased the effectiveness of our system significantly. Jeff also discovered and mitigated multiple gas leaks that we were completely unaware of.
He showed us where they were and how he found them. I am very happy with the professional service Isaac Heating and Cooling provided. We'll definitely be using their service again!

Isaac is a quality company who take pride in their services. Sonny, Vince and a few others that worked on the job did a great job installing the Insulation in the attic crawl space and in the basement. Looking at the results, the installation was flawless. They created little disturbance in the three days they were here. They were all very cordial and friendly. I would recommend Isaac to anyone for any of their services.

We had used Isaac Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. in the past for a new Tank-less Water Heater installation and basement insulation. They also returned for service and maintenance. Recently, we have installed a new AC with all that this work entails and more! On this occasion, they also installed a new smart thermostat. All was done professionally, efficiently, and the installer John-Paul was truly amazing!
We could not be more pleased with his knowledge, patience, kindness, and professionalism. He cleaned everything upon finishing and, we were very impressed how he took his time to go over all the work that he did and what it all entailed. He also explained and took extra time to get the app on our phone to work with our new smart thermostat which we did not have before as we had a regular old-fashioned one.
He and his partner arrived early in the morning and contacted us when on their way. They covered our floors where they would be coming in and out and, they genuinely did an awesome job! I've used Issac for many things over the years. They installed our air conditioning and tankless water heater, we have had plumbing work done by them, and they have cleaned and/or serviced our furnace and air conditioner many times. We've never had a bad experience. They do good work at a reasonable price.

Patrick & Micha replaced the insulation in my cellar & attic. It was a 2 day job & was completed as promised. Another employee came to help out on Day 2. I am pleased with the results. My house feels much warmer & I know by installing new insulation, it will reduce my heating costs. I was very happy with their work ethic, honesty, & their professionalism. Overall a nice job installing our new furnace and coil. The AC condenser will come later. I pointed out where I wanted the outlet for the exhaust but some executive decisions had to be made since I was away at work. No big deal, the install looks very nice and I can't wait to get my upstairs furnace and two new condensers. Highly recommend Issac heating company.

Our furnace stopped working at 1:30 this morning. I called Issac and they had a technician out to me a few hours later. Cory was our technician and his customer service and professionalism was second to none. Thanks to him my family will be warm inside while the outside temperature is currently -10. Also if it wasn't for their gold seal program I had signed up for a few years ago I would've had to pay hundreds of dollars but instead all costs were covered due to the program.

My Dad who's 90 furnace stopped working last night, it was 1degree out, we contacted the emergency call number at 6AM and the operator said they would have a technician call us soon since he is older and a gold star member. No call back by 11AM so we called them back and they informed us the earliest they can get someone out was Thursday. It's Sunday and a huge storm with 18+ Inches of snow is rolling in tonight. What? We called Betlem and they sent someone right out. They lost our business with this type of business or lack of!

Every step everyone was onetime for appointments, sales (Ben) was professional, and explained the whole process. helped with state paperwork, and financing was approved in flash. I was given a date and time when the install of my new furnace would take place three weeks prior. Upon date of install technician Ryan called 20 minutes before arrival to let me know he was on the way. Ryan and Kevin worked for 8 hours replacing my 30-year-old furnace with a new one. I never saw either technician take a bathroom or lunch break. Once the job was completed, Ryan went over everything that I should know regarding the install. The old furnace was removed. Nothing was left for me to clean or discard. I am extremely pleased with Isaac Heating.

Intelligent, personable and very professional - Steve did an excellent job concerning my furnace maintenance. He easily determined the source of the central humidifier problems and corrected them. as well as performing a check of all gas pipes for possible leaks. He answered all my questions and gave me a great comfort level, knowing the service I received was the best. Isaac has a great employee in Steve. I look forward to using Isaac in the future.

My heat went out so I called Isaac Monday morning November 22 who installed the new Rheem unit in our house in 2015. I was told they could come to fix it on Friday December 3rd. Really, so no heat for almost two weeks! Obviously they have grown beyond the ability to cover customers and equipment they installed. The advertisement I see on TV and elsewhere say they are there for you 24/7. That seems like false advertising! I found another local HVAC company that came the same day (Potter Heater & Cooling).

I just had Isaac's crack team install a new "multi-split" HVAC unit that was replacing one that was damaged by a lawn mowing company. It was a painless process from start to finish. Each of Isaac's personnel, from the 1st two that came to assess the damaged unit, to my project manager to the two installers, were all very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and very capable and competent.
The project manager went the extra mile to interact with both the mowing service's insurance company and mine as well. I will not hesitate to use Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning again and will refer them to anyone looking for their type of products & service.

Technician was very professional and polite. He took his time explaining to me everything he was going to do to service our gas fireplace. I suspect previous owner never had it serviced. It looks great, works great, just in time for the Holidays. I also appreciated the "free check" of our gas lines to ensure no leaks. I would highly recommend Isaac.

We scheduled a furnace inspection/cleaning and were given a window of 3-6pm. We made arrangements to make sure someone would be home. At 5:09 they called saying they are behind and won't be there until between 6-7. At 7pm I had to call them myself and ask what was going on. I was told they are still behind and we were looking at 8-9pm Because They had a lot of calls for furnaces out. Dispatch said we could reschedule for the next available tech, which was unclear when that would be.
Ultimately she got a hold of someone who could be here by about 8 (said they could make it from north Greece to Palmyra in 25 min) which didn't help at all. It Would still put them in our house till 9 or later, which was not convenient due to our schedules. We had to just cancel. At some point they need to stop taking emergency calls and take care of appointments that were already scheduled in advance. I will never use this company again nor will I recommend.

Have used Isaac for many years as I have a service contract with them for annual cleanings. Originally when I bought my condo, I had Isaac out to replace the A/C, Heating, and hot water, they were one of the few places to do everything, and they could do it all on the same day, big plus! I just stayed with them for their annual cleanings due to them installing everything.
Service is timely, usually within a few days, not sure about emergency service, but have had no problems getting them out. The tech's are ok, some are great, some not so much, lol Anthony Fico had to come out and realign the ignitor after the first tech cleaned/serviced it, always the case, right? Anyway, two thumbs up to Anthony for fixing it. If you need HVAC, and hot water service I recommend them, also the service contract for annual cleanings, though pricey, is worth it in my book, thank you Isaac :

We remodeled one of our properties and dealt with a variety of contractors. Issac was hands down the absolute best one. We interviewed 3 different hvac companies to instal a new furnace, central air, re route ductwork and instal a tankless hot water heater. Issac was not only competitively priced, they went above and beyond with teaching us about grants that we could apply for to reduce costs.
Not only did they know about the grants, they literally did everything for us! Jon, was the sales rep that we dealt with and he made a extra trip to the house to deliver & assist with the application. Jon was very professional, responsive & truthful. They started the work on the exact date that they promised and the technicians were Andre & Alex. Both of them worked so hard throughout the 4 days they were doing the work.
Never once did I even see them take a break! They were efficient and very courtius to my mother who couldn't leave the house due to surgery. They went out of their way to ensure she was disturbed as little as possible. One of the best parts of this crew is that they went so far above and beyond! They found a way to instal a duct into a room that I have always wanted to have heat in but all other contractors said it couldn't be done.
They also moved and remodeled a little piece to secure the condensation line from the furnace. None of this was asked for or even mentioned to them. They just graciously did it. The job they were doing was super messy but they made sure to keep it as clean as possible. I usually don't write long reviews like this but I deal with contractors all the time personally and professionally. So, when I come across a business that cares this much about their customer service, I feel compelled to let people know. I'll be using Issac from now on. Big thank you to Jon, Alex and Andre!

I removed a boiler with radiators from my house. Had Isaccs install a new furnace with all new ductwork, a new ac unit, and a new tankless water heater. They did a great job. Very knowledgable and courteous. Did the install in the time frame and cleaned up after themselves every day. To top it all off, at the end of the job they gave my granddaughter a toy Isaacs van when they finished the job. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Update: Followed the directive of Eric K. and called. I got the Regional Manager, but he would not give me his name said he didn't have too. My understanding is unless you have a service contract with them or it's an emergency equipment failure they schedule up to two weeks out for a sales person to meet with you. So, their business model seems to boil down to unless they know they will make immediate money from you- you can sit and wait at the bottom of their list. I wonder if Eric K. will follow up with another customer friendly comment on how Isaac Heating would be pleased to help. Good luck with that.

Everyone at Isaac - the salesman, installers, office people - were as good as you would want. Everyone is personable, knowledgeable, respectful, helpful, friendly, clean and goes the extra mile to make the customer happy. I've never worked with a crew this large where everyone acted perfectly the entire time they were there. I recently had Isaac out for a repair call for my oil hot water heater. The technician came out at the right time and said there would be $120 diagnosis fee for the repairs I said that's fine and then he called back later and said he would have to replace parts and that the labor charges parts and diagnosis would be $475 and I said go ahead. About 1 hr later he calls back and said there's water in the oil and that e can't get it working.
I still had to pay $475 for repairs and had to call another company out to install electric water heater. Because Isaac told me it would be another week without hot water. Do not use this company for your services.

Isaac Heating and Cooling were very helpful in coming to my house later on a Friday night when my tankless hot water tank was not working. Robert Cripps showed me what would be best for me including high efficiency and scheduled installers to come early the next morning to install a new hot water heater. He also new about NYSERDA programs that I was qualified for for financial assistance with the hot water heater as well as a high efficiency furnace and AC Unit.
The installers were careful as they removed and installed everything and cleaned up any messes made. The products and financing were done so that it was affordable for me and now have high energy efficient products! I would recommend Isaac Heating and Cooling.

I am not known for poor reviews but this is one of them. Hired Isaac a couple of years ago for an inspection and cleaning on our furnace, tankless water heater and air conditioner. Was pleased with the service so we bought one of their expensive maintenance plans. First of all, you have to call them every year to return for a cleaning and inspection.
They should call us to schedule service thru their expensive plan. Fine. We are considering moving so I called for an inspection and cleaning. They wouldn't do the A/C bc it was February. Again, fine. Well the nightmare began. Now keep in mind everything worked perfectly prior to this service. Again, cleaning and inspection. Tech started inspection.
Soon I heard a half hour of very loud metallic banging. I asked how it was going and was told he was trying to free a part to clean and check it. In the end, couldn't get it. Specialist had to return. Specialist returned and said igniter was bad. Changed it and it cost $162 which was the cost after the $600 maintenance plan previously mentioned.
Pretty quickly we noticed more trouble. No hot water for a number of minutes. You may say no big deal but try running your bath for 3 to 5 minutes bf you get hot water. This happens on every faucet too. So we called again. Tech came and now found a bunch of gas leaks and the heat exchanger was bad. Cost $300 after their wonderful $ 600 maintenance plan.
They also repaired some of the gas leaks. Said RGE had to fix another one. RGE came and said no leak. Hmmmmm. And I can't help to wonder how much of this is a result of the first Tech banging away full force on a very intricate and fragile piece of equipment. And we don't even have the new heat exchanger installed yet! No call with an update, no call to schedule appt. Nothing. 2 months ago we called for an inspection. $500 later (not including the investment in the $600 maintenance plan) we have a non properly functioning water heater, no appointment and no plan. So much for hiring a big company for expertise, service and peace of mind. Ill update when, I mean if this gets resolved.

I had a gas leaked national grid said to call a repair service. I called on a Tuesday, said they'd come over on Wednesday to fix my valve. Came over charged me $192 and didn't fix the valve. Then said they'd come over the next day and fix the valve. They didn't come I called and they said the valve hasn't arrived yet and no ones coming and could give me an estimate on when.
I have been without gas for three days, No one called to cancel, and I got charged $192 for them to basically tell me what national grid told me. I would steer clear away from them.

Extremely disappointed in the service that has been provided.or lack thereof. I had a technician come out to my house to diagnose an issue with my generator. Upon going to meet him in my front lawn, I was applying my mask to greet him. As I approached him, he said, rolling his eyes, "You don't have to wear that, I DO, for the company, but its all bullshit anyway." The technician continued to use unprofessional language AND he repeatedly removed his mask, came within 1 to 2 feet of me and was talking about inappropriate subject matters such as guns, politics, etc. IT GETS BETTER.
This technician did not work on my generator at all because he came unprepared and did not have the correct tools to work. Like what? SO. I made a new appointment, requesting a different technician. He was a no show. I called and scheduled AGAIN. This time, you guessed it, a NO CALL NO SHOW. Essentially, I took the afternoon off from work on 3 separate occasions to be available for these people, and they were useless and unprofessional every single time.
After a few phone calls, and a big headache later, a very nice Manager finally called me back, took my statement and told me they would give me a full refund. This supposedly will take a few days to process; Stay tuned.

The company's policies are price gouging and unfair. My daughter's furnace was not working and she called Isaac. They told her that she probably should get a new furnace, since her furnace was almost 13 years old. This was very upsetting to her, and she called for another estimate. The other company told her that she had plenty of life in her furnace and fixed the problem for $450.
The worst thing was that Isaac Heating charged her almost $200 for the visit where they misled her. She called to see if they would be willing to refund part or all of the $200, and the Service Manager would not consider it. Our family and friends will never do business with Isaac again, as we feel they work on bad faith and do not value the good will of their customers.

Called for a seasonal furnace cleaning. The tech was arrogant, pushy, passive aggressive. He kept trying to upsell some insurance package that gave him some commission. Then tried to increase the price for the cleaning. I sent Isaac my feelings about the job but never heard back. Will no longer be a loyal customer.

Isaac installed an ac unit and full house generator. Spent about 10k. All was well for the first few years. I paid them monthly for a years worth of service maintenance. Last time they serviced was July 2018. By November 2019 they had not serviced my equipment yet continued to bill my credit card. I asked them for service maintenance immediately and they said it could not happen until January 2020.
They broke their own service contract yet expect me to keep paying. I have since started using other more professional services. Also they have an employee named Shane who takes it upon himself to bill one of your credit cards when you specifically ask him to bill another. Very unscrupulous. I advise to steer clear from this lot.

I purchased a stand-by generator less than 2 years ago. I have had 2 power outages in that time and the generator failed to kick on. Living in the country I not only don't have heat and lights, but no water either. So, after spending good money on the generator, I sit in the cold waiting for the electric to come back on, which I hope will be sooner than when the tech comes tomorrow, Unless you want to throw your money away, I suggest you don;t purchase a generator

Had Isaac install a gas fireplace into my house 10 years ago. Not long after they installed a gas furnace and central air. The total expenditure was close to $9k. I followed all their recommendations, which of course ended up with the most expensive options, installation plan, etc. as possible since they are high-pressure on the sales. The fireplace has been a complete waste of $3,200.
Ever since its install, it has generated strong odors that give me headaches and make me dizzy. I had them out after 3 months to check it, and they told me nothing was wrong. I had them out the following year and they told me nothing was wrong, only this time they charged me over $100 for the visit. I had them out year two and they told me. you get the picture.
I finally gave up on them and had the fire department come out and test for carbon monoxide, which was negative. All along, I've suspected a problem with the install, which they of course say is impossible. It's now 10 years later and like an idiot I still periodically call to politely ask them to please come look at it without charging me another $100.
They refuse. I can honestly say this was one of the worst investments into my home I've made, and I regret choosing Isaac for a fireplace install. My friend had the same gas fireplace put into her home by Isaac a year after me, and she has the exact same problem. and has given up on asking them to check it as well. Meanwhile, my neighbor used a gas fireplace specialty store and she has no issues with her now 6-year old gas fireplace which she paid over $600 less for. Coincidence, maybe, but I think it's better to stick with people who have the expertise you need and are driven by the business-building effects of quality customer service, not driving up costs to squeeze customers to pay for every move and minute every technician makes, as if WE'RE the ones who are trying to squeeze them.
I need to replace my gas furnace this year. Know what a refusal to wave a $100 tech fee to check on a customer's existing product leads to? Not getting a $4,500 sale on a new one.

AMAZING how fast and easy replacing our hot water heater was. The tank was worn out by our water softener and burst while we were out of town (seriously?!). I called them when we came home, 4:30 pm yesterday. We had a brand new one installed and done by 2:30 today. In less than 24 hours we had our tank removed. Replaced. And hot water heated and ready to go! Would give them 6 stars if possible, super happy with their service. Ask for Jordan, he was the nicest guy!
