They used to get to you as soon as possible. They know what they are doing. My problem lately is that I believe they no longer have a receptionist and if you leave a message, they won't call back. This is probably due to staffing but definitely disappointing when you need help.

Had a hot water baseboard heater leak. After Losch coming highly recommended, I called them. Jim (service manager), called me back. It was Christmas week, they were extremely booked up. Jim got me on the books for following Monday, first thing in morning, technician was at the door. He introduced himself ( sorry I forgot your name, good sir). I showed him the issues. Had pipe leaking between floors.

I cut basement ceiling open for him to have room to work. He started repairs right away, drained boiler, replaced leaking pipes as necessary, refilled boiler system, bled air, and leak check/confirm operation of system. Cleaned up and on his way to his next service call, all within reasonable time and price. Thank you, LOSCH, for your prompt call back and professionalism. Highly recommend the team at LOSCH. You've gained a customer and you will definitely be my go to plumber, up in the area. Cannot go wrong with these guys .

Critical: Value Quoted me just over $900 to change out my pipe line, only instaled a T-section and charged me the full quoted price and told me that the estimate never included all it did. Was told by others I highly overpaid for what was done, I will never use them again. I can't trust them. Service: Plumbing pipe repair

I was charged for work that was never done and travel time when they were literally right around the corner. Worst company ever. Inexperienced kids working for the company.

Critical: Responsiveness never answers their phone anymore. never response to their messages anymore. I'll give my business to someone else!

I am beyond disappointed to write this review. Since moving into the area, I trusted Losch as the "one call". 1. De-winterized my house: AWESOME 2. Installed new toilet (we have another yet to replace): AWESOME 3. Weekly landscaping: missed weeks without any notice or warning. Then, I just found out they don't have anyone to do the work and no eta on getting my grass cut(it's been 2 weeks since they were last out). Did not think to let their customers know.

Lack of communication is something that could have saved me as a customer. 4. HVAC system: Had Jimmy out to do measurements and discuss what we wanted. Was told 3-4 days for quote. It's been 7. Called to check status. was told another 7 days for a quote. I am ready to pull the trigger but I guess my work or me as a customer is not of value to them.

Overall communication: TERRIBLE! When you have to leave several messages or drive to their building to get answers. that tells you something. I want to know when I leave a message, it will be returned. Even if you don't know something. acknowledge the message. Don't tell me you didn't call because you don't know anything and are in the dark. Again, I am sorry to write this review.

But other homeowners should know so that they don't put all their eggs in one basket. I have already called another company to quote me on the HVAC and also will need to buy a mower. Lack of planning. does now constitute an emergency on my end. Thanks a lot!

Around the second or third week of May we had a emergency at our home with a propane tank and Butch from losch was in the area and stopped to see if he could be of any help. He found out where we could take the tank for repairs for us and had to go to that area for other business reasons, and dropped it off for us. Losch installed a ductless mini-split system in my home and I'm very pleased! The guys did a fantastic job, were friendly, and thoroughly explained everything to me. I was also impressed with Tara who handled the scheduling. She was courteous, and scheduled my install within the same week during a very busy time. I'm happy I chose Losch for the job!

They were very quick to respond to my needs. Great service during the early stages of this pandemic.

She was very compassionate and made the process of needing a new hot water tank much easier to go through. Had to have Losch a couple of times for my oil furnace. It turned out to be a tricky problem which required a few visits and multiple parts replaced to find the issue. They worked with me on the overall price and we're very happy with the service provided overall. Will definitely use them in the future. Service: Heating equipment repair & installation

Played cat and mouse, calling off and on for 3 days. Did decent work. Could have cleaned up better. Would not recommend on short notice.

Needed our main sewer line cleared out due to a blockage. They arrived within 3 hours of calling on a Sunday night. The 2 men that came to our house were very nice and knowledgeable. They also made sure that they cleaned up and put everything back when they were finished. Will definitely use this service again! Service: Sewer repair

EDIT TO ADD: despite what the response from the owner below states, nothing has been explained to me. The technician expressed no concern to me about safety issues while in my home, and nothing was said about them when I received a call nearly 3 hours later to notify me the company wasn't going to provide service. Called to repair non-working kitchen sink faucet/supply line. Plumber was there for five minutes, told me they were going for parts, and never came back.

After several hours and calls/emails to company, I was recontacted and told they weren't going to do the job. No further explanation given. No apologies for wasting my entire morning.

I'm actually really surprised by the negative reviews that this company has on yelp. My aunts heating system broke (blowing cold air but no heat) and I had tried everything that I knew of to fix it myself. After a quick Google search, I narrowed it down to 2 places that had really good reviews (Losch being one of them). I had initially called another company first, but I gave them my information and was asked to wait for a call back.

I live over an hour away from my aunt's house (in another state), and also was expected to wait for the actual service/job to be done, so.my patience was limited to waiting about 30 minutes, which is when I decided to try the next business (Losch Services). I'm happy that I did. The girl that answered the phone talked to me as if I had been a customer for years, and expressed concern/urgency in helping to fix my aunt's issue.

I don't remember how long it took for them to show (if it was too long, I'd be remembering it). The guy that showed up was very nice, seemed very knowledgeable and narrowed down the issue to a bad capacitor. Came in to explain the issue, solution, cost, etc. to which I approved. Everything was so perfect about this experience, that I came on here to leave a good review for them.

Which goes back to the first part of my review, i'm REALLY surprised that these guys have such bad reviews on here. makes me think that someone is out to get them. Google reviews are what i based my decision on, and my experience with them was exactly what the Google reviews say. Thanks again Losch Services!

We had no heat during a very cold winter day and the owner, Butch, not only helped diagnose the issue, but made sure we got the correct parts to replace on the furnace so we could have heat. We felt grateful that as a busy owner, he took the time to help us and made sure we were OK. Few things are as stressful as a broken furnace in the cold and we would absolutely recommend them for any home issue! Thank you!

Excellent place for the do-it-yourselfer to get oil burner parts. Parts man John is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They always have what I need and answer any questions I may have. Prices are very competitive. Great parts place to do business with.

Called near the end of regular business hours and was told I could have someone come out in the late afternoon, BUT, it would be on OT, thus the labor cost would be higher. I assured them that was fine, because I really needed the work done. They were out within 2 hours and had the problem fixed in a little better than an hour. The job was in a crawl space and had an open sewer line they needed to close, so by far not a pleasant job. Did the job with no complaints and despite the OT wages, I didn't feel I overpaid! Will be employing them in the future to fix stuff in the bathroom and for possible remodel there as well!
