My central air that was 22 years old finally went. I called Haller on a Wednesday, Curtis was out on Thursday to give me a quote on a new system. He was punctual, professional, and informative. I received the completed detailed quote the same day and was able to get a full install the following Tuesday. The two men who did the install were fantastic. Quiet and cleaned up after themselves. Gave me a full educational tour of the new unit. New unit works wonderfully. Very pleased with the whole experience. Highly recommend.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. They scheduled an appointment with a window between 12 noon and 5 pm today which is a Saturday. No one showed up. I called three times asking for an ETA. Was told plumber was held up on another job. No ETA nor offer to send someone else. It's now 8:12 pm and not a word from any of them. Was told too they had no way of getting in touch with the technician but would send an email to the scheduling team or some other group. Email? No one likes to have their time wasted especially me but if you're someone who does, feel free to call them. Just don't expect service.

My furnace wasn't staying on and called Haller Enterprises and Keegan the dispatcher was very kind and patient in assisting to get a tech to service my furnace. They were unable to do it that day but was quick to service the next following day. They worked with my work schedule so that I could still get service. Phil the tech was very knowledgeable and explained everything that needed to big fixed and why.
The price was fair. I highly recommend Haller Enterprises! You will not regret it! I will definitely be using other sevices. First time customer soon to be long term customer.

Haller just replaced our heat pump and we are extremely glad that we chose them for the job. From their expert, courteous sales department to their highly skilled installers they were professional and very accommodating. They went out of their way to cater to our special needs and they went above and beyond throughout the work. In addition, their finished job was tidy and visually pleasing.
It was refreshing to receive the kind of excellent service I fondly remember from the old days, but is not so often available today. We will definitely choose them for our needs in the future. Thank you, Haller.

Our technician, Austin, went above and beyond in explaining the cause and correction of our A/C issues. He was courteous and professional and answered our questions fully. We will ask for Austin for our next scheduled maintenance service. This young man is an outstanding representative of Haller Enterprises! Service: A/C system maintenance

Matt Weitzel was absolutely amazing and very professional when installing. However, on the same day I was scheduled to have an replacement of non-working GFCI outlets and install of a motion detector light that I provided. I was quoted over $500. I wound up paying a dispatch fee of $79 with no work being completed as I refused. I got a quote for a replacement of heater and AC quite which is well over $5000 more than another company. I would not recommend.

Our service tech, Matt, arrived on time and got right to work. He performed a thorough inspection and servicing of our gas boiler. He explained in detail what he was doing and was more than happy to answer any questions I had. While he was here, he identified 2 concerns with our water heater and corrected both. Personable, polite and professional, Matt will get my recommendation for anyone needing service. Outstanding experience all the way around!

First time customer here. On 11/16 my heat stopped working. The next day I called haller and was told although they couldnt get me in that day, I was on the schedule for the next day and someone would call me in the AM to let me know the time window for the tech to arrive. By noon the next day I hadnt gotten a call so I called them. They said i. was still on the schedule and would call me back to let me know when.
Around 1pm I got a call that the tech would arrive between 230-330 but would call when he was close. By 345 when no tech showed up and I hadnt gotten a call, I called back. They didnt know what happened but they would look into it and call me back. At 430 I called again, .

Had an awesome virtual call with an approximate estimate. Virtual call guy said someone would contact me the next day; noone ever did so I reached out along with that someone would come (cost free) to view the project and of course Haller and their virtual Maintenance techs dont talk to each other and wanted to charge myself for a visit. No thanks Ill go somewhere else.

Horrible company. DO NOT USE. Was supposed to have a new AC unit install end of Aug. here it is Dec 13 and nothing. They had no problem cashing my check, but zero communication from them the last 3.5 months. Tried to cancel install 4 weeks ago and get my money back, never heard from anyone. Called 2 weeks later, same nonsense. Called a 3rd time. today because I'm ready to take my business elsewhere and get a another call while on phone they are ready to install.
Yeah right! This company has horrible communication skills and follow up, and are completely disorganized. Why on earth would I move forward with a terrible company. if install is this bad, I'd hate to see if I ever need warranty work or service. Save your time and money, go someplace else!

Getting ready to sell my home and I wanted to update my HVAC system before I sell. Haller came to my home, looked over what was needed to be done and got me a couple estimates in a couple days. They were able to get my new system scheduled for the following week and had it installed in one day. Clean and professional, great service.

Had an electric water heater replaced. The quoting process was ok, the technician tried to upsell things that I didn't want. When I made it clear I didn't want these add ons, they were understanding and told me where I could go if I changed my mind later or wanted to get them myself. I paid for and got exactly what was quoted, no surprises.
The technicians that came to install were very respectful and careful during the installation which is much appreciated. The final installation looks professional and functions as well as I could have hoped for. Overall I am pleased with the service.

Our technician was helpful and did a good job, but I am shocked by the lack of COVID precautions. He did not wear a mask even though we did, and we have a very young son who was present and of course is unvaccinated. I have no idea if the technician is vaccinated and I don't think Haller should be risking exposing clients to COVID. Please be more cautious with the health and safety of your clients and ask your technicians to wear masks.

Just had a great service visit by Haller and was very impressed with your technician Codie Dotter! Great young man! Friendly, courteous, knowledgeable. Nice guy! We hadn't had out unit serviced in a while (didn't even know Tru-Comfort was now part of Haller). Glad I called, and glad you sent Codie! Thanks

We needed a new first floor air conditioner since we had a freon leak. We did a remote video inspection and got a recommendation on the new system we needed. They had the equipment needed and that is impressive with the equipment shortage due to covid. We got scheduled and our guys showed up on time. They were extremely professional, competent and left our place as it was before they walked into the house. I found my new HVAC guys.

I have been completely disappointed with this company. I tried for three years to do business with them. I have uploaded some pictures to show how careless they are. They obviously have no regard to your investment. we had a repair issue a few months back. The first tech made the issue worse, it took a second visit to fix the issue. I canceled the subscription service yet they continued to send me invoices.
I can't believe this was even acceptable work in their eyes. Drilled holes wrong, Installed the drainage pipes wrong.twice, it took a third time to get it wrong it isn't acceptable to this day Those drilled holes in the side of my home are going to effect the value of my home and they go the entire way up the side of my house. When it comes time for me to repair all this it will be on my dime. Just an overall horrible experience.

They show up not wearing a mask and work inside, not wearing a mask all day long. This guy, brian plumber, and HAVC tech worked in my house with no mask, and I thought nothing of it. I didn't want to be rude, but we got sick shortly after, and now I'm pissed, so hears how I feel about Haller. The Electrician wore his mask and was helpful, but his quote for about 2 hours of work was $1,388!
No thanks, I must have stupid written on my face. Plus, they are priced for commercial work. They jack up residential prices to ridiculous rates; see for yourself, get multiple quotes. It's laughable. Do yourself a favor and find an independent licensed local guy. These guys can do the work, yes, but for a premium that I have found to be way more than the local market. I'm done with these guys; stay in your lane Haller and stick with commercial client's I bet you wear masks for them! Homeowners, beware they don't care about you they want your money. You got me for $3k Haller put my entire family at risk congrats

As bad as it gets. a Joke of a company. Use any company but this one. First they come to my house and say they can't reconnect my stove because the line was rusted. Ok replace it. Of course that requires another appointment which they literally made on their own without asking me. They sent me a text confirming this rogue appt and I replied "no" to the confirmation.
Of course they show up anyway and call me wondering why I wasn't there. Then 2 days later a bill shows up in the mail they didn't do. So I call and ask them to please turn my stove back on that they disconnected and I make an appointment on my own accord this time. I explain I can't be there and key left under the front door mat. So of course the appointment comes and the dude can't show up cause he's supposedly sick.
Next appointment comes and the guy gets the key and goes in. He calls me at work and is like "uhhhh how can o bill you if you aren't here?" Dude Idk maybe in the mail like the other bill you sent me? So the guy leaves cause I'm not there. Which all his coworkers and him knew HENCE THE KEY UNDER THE MAT. Long story short they unhooked my stove. Jerked me around for weeks. Ultimately i gave up and am having another company take care of it. STAY AWAY.

We had haller come in to look at a 3.5 year old hot water heater that was running out of hot water fast. Plumber came by and said it needed replaced due to internal leaks. Hot water heater was covered under warranty. We are 1st time home owners so we were not familiar with costs of hot water heaters. We had them replace it under warranty with a new one and paid 1080$ for 2 hrs of labor (that was the entire time they were here to diagnose problem, & complete replacement).
After speaking with family members about what happened we were told there was no way we should have been charged 1000$ for 2 hrs of labor. I called other reputable local companies and was quoted 300-350 for labor cost of replacing a hot water heater. No other companies could justify hallers cost of 1000$ for 2 hrs of labor for something covered under warranty & all said it was ridiculous.
I called haller back & spoke with their manager who refunded 250$ Of cost bringing it to 850$. That's still extremely high cost for labor for this. I believe that they charged us full price for a new hot water heater and install, then submitted claim to warranty and were paid by them as well. And if that's not the case, they are charging 450-500$ per hour for labor which is insane. I'm considering filing a complaint with the BBB.
A hard, expensive lesson to learn as first time home owners. I should mention this was not our first experience with them as our builder worked with them to build our home. When we first moved into our home haller had to come out numerous times to fix mistakes they made when building out home. They had to replace outdoor spicket because they put the wrong one on and we couldn't hook a hose up, they did not correctly instal out kitchen faucet, leaving bolts loose, & had to come out and reinstall that, & we had extensive water damage to our 1st floor walls from a 2nd floor bathroom that did not have any caulking placed around a walk in shower.

First time they were scheduled to show up they called with 20 minutes of their 5 hour time window saying they weren't going to make it that day and rescheduled for a week later. The second time the tech showed up and said he couldn't do the work Hvac work on the residential townhouse because it needed a commercial Hvac person due to the system being on the roof. Said the commercial team would call to set up yet another appointment - they did not call.
I had another residential Hvac outfit here and serviced my unit without issue. Thank you to the Haller tech who made excuses to get out of a job and thank you to Haller overall for wasting 6 hours of my time.

I would post a ZERO rating if I could. So, I purchased my home in 2006 brand new, newly constructed therefore everything was new. My home was about ten years old when my furnace broke. I contacted Haller and they came out and charged me over $600 to replace the inducer motor. Then the tech recommended that I enroll in their monthly maintenance fee.
This fee will pay for them to return to have them return annually to inspect the furnace. I agreed. I have been paying them a monthly fee for 4 years. Yesterday, I started hearing a loud humming noise coming from the same furnace they repaired in 2016. So I called Haller again since I was paying a monthly service fee and they sent out a tech. Low and behold, the tech, Jim Forry advised that the same inducer motor replaced in just 2016, had broken yet again.
He now said the estimate for the same part is now $808 ( his $79 fee included). I need heat so I paid for the repair. After speaking with my son, later that evening, my son checked on the same exact part that they charged me for ($800) was available online with free shipping for just $248. I could not believe this. I have been bambozzled yet again by a company I trusted.
Not to mention, the tech recommended that I invest in a new heating and AC system (even though the AC is not broken) and quoted me a estimate of $15,000. Really, for a 14 year old home. PPLEASE TAKE HEED AND RUN FOR THE HILLS! What I now know is, I will have them come out to diagnose the problem and maybe incur the cost of them diagnosing the problem but I will not trust them to complete the work. I will obtain a second estimate and possibly have the correct the problem. These people are horrible and have no conscience for constantly ripping off hard working people.

We called to have our kitchen sink snaked and a plumber came to our house and quoted us $480 - an exorbitant amount for this procedure. We obviously declined, they could have given us the quote over the phone as we told them it needed snaked, but they sent someone out to give us that ridiculous quote. We received a $79. bill today for the absolutely pointless visit. Would give ZERO stars if it was an option.

I have been using Haller for a couple years to service my elderly moms air conditioner for her mobile home and also was on the maintenance plan for $14/month which doubled to $28/month this year. The unit was aging and I had them replace several components over the last 2-3 years costing hundreds of dollars each time. They suggested replacing it with a new unit because they said it's on its last leg.
Recently the neighbor said it was making a noise so I called Haller and they said we were due for a maintenance visit anyway. The technician Braydon showed me a pipe he said was frozen and then said the unit had no charge left and would need over $1000 fix. So I said it's time for a new one and they put me in contact with their sales people who quoted a price of $5300 for an Amana unit or $5800 for a Carrier.
On installation day they called and said they couldn't do the install because the electric hookup wasn't up to code and posed a fire hazard! They offered to repair it for an extra fee. This was SUCH a blessing in disguise! I told them I wanted to look for an electrician to fix the "electrical issue" and then found out I could get a new unit installed by a contractor that specializes in mobile home HVAC for $3200 or $4000 depending on what type of unit was needed.
In the mean time my brother-in-law said he knew of someone that could do the work and they would come out and give an estimate. My sister just called and said they checked the unit and it's working fine! HALLER tried to rip us off for over $5K!

Let me start off by saying that I will NEVER use you again and will MOST CERTAINLY NOT RECOMMEND you to ANYONE! I called for a leak from upstairs bathroom into my kitchen. We were charged $79 to walk in the door. (understood beforehand) Then was told to continue, it would be $125/hr. to cut into ceiling to find the leak. We told him to do what he had to do because we needed it fixed.
About 40 min. later (he estimated an hour which would explain why he disappeared to his van for like 15 min) we were told (and he stated on bill) he didn't "want" to cut into the floor and his advice to us was to call a "handyman." He also stated on the bill "the owner will get it open." (which we never said) He left our home, leak not fixed, and we are out $204.
I thought he did a good job cleaning up until my Husband got up on a ladder to take a closer look and found the surprise mess left for us on top of the wet tiles of ceiling debris. As he tried to remove the tiles, said mess ended up all over my kitchen leaving me a HUGE mess to clean. I don't want to forget to mention the sharp dirty old saw blade that fell from our ceiling! Today, I am left at square one but now with a worse leak and having to pay someone else to come out.
I understand you want paid for your "work" but I have been off work for a month now due to Covid19- we are a six person family on one income right now. So please try to understand MY FRUSTRATION when we were left to feel like we were given an excuse as to why he didn't feel like doing the job telling us to call a handyman. He did NOTHING for us and got charged $204!
We did get a different plumber out here that agreed the last guy just didn't want to do it. The job was quickly done and we were charged less than what you charged you when you didn't even help us!

Good experience. Recently purchased a new rental home and we used Haller to perform some needed maintenance and updates to shoddy plumbing done by the previous owner. The service tech who came out to look at the work was pleasant, knowledgeable, and took time to explain exactly what needed to be done (I have a background in this stuff but I no longer have time to perform the work myself.
I agreed with his assessment). The service was performed as scheduled and to our satisfaction. It was not cheap but I feel their pricing was fair. I have them scheduled to perform furnace service in the near future and plan on using them for other needs in the future also. I will also add that the staff I spoke with on the phone was pleasant and helpful. RECOMMEND

We unfortunately purchased a house with quest piping that has a class act lawsuit back in the late 90's when we purchased the house our inspector nor the current homeowners disclosed to us that the whole house had this piping. We have currently lived here for 9 years and in those nine years we have had 5 leaks and 2 floods due to the quest piping bursting which is why it is no longer used.
The reason for the delaying in getting the whole house repiped was the cost we did not have the money my mom was currently going through breast cancer treatment and we just could not afford it. Through those years and all the leaks we have called Haller multiple times some for scheduled appointments and some were emergency appointments. Each time a technician has come out they were nothing but amazing, they were all kind, very knowledgeable, good prices, and they never did anything without explaining to us what they were going to do.
Today we had them out for a two day job to finally have everything repiped and as I hope this is the last time we need to call them for this I have been nothing but grateful for their amazing service I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Make sure you look at everything before they leave or ask them to check the work area. Had someone cone out on a Saturday to clean out a sewer line clog. A week later, I had two feet of water in bsmt and had to buy a new boiler and water heater. Plus, had to spend a week at a hotel. Their tech said he didn't do it but no one else would have unplugged the sump pump.
So they decided they would not accept responsibility. Yet, no one else would have done. Having work done at house but not in that part of the bsmt. Think he gravitated to first plug he saw, unplugged it and when machine would not reach, he unplugged it to look for a different one and forgot to plug sump back in. But no way he could have made a mistake according to Haller.
Funny how the first person I talked to told me to file with my insurance and they would subrogate against them. Hmmm, for perfect employees he seemed to know the word subrogation pretty well. Problems before? And, get this - they sent out company to set up heaters and dehumidifiers to dry out bsmt and led me to believe they would accept responsibility. And, they asked if they could make it right and install new boiler and water heater.
I said I would think about it. The next day risk manager called to say they were not accepting responsibility because they believe their tech. Why would he lie? They were not going to pay for the restoration co at first until I pointed out not my fault they jumped the gun and sent them out. So I not only spent a week at a hotel, my electric for two days is ridiculously high for the fans, etc, AND the guy didn't unclog.
Three days after getting back into house, had to have a plumber out and spent another $700 to fix what Haller should have plus another night in hotel bc could not use toilet or sink or shower. Overall, their service has cost me almost $10,000 bc my insurance does not cover and a few nights in a house at 55 degrees until new boiler installed If I could give negative stars, I would. Run!'

AC stopped working, was not actually cooling. (Was same as outside temp in the house) I called and we were put on a wait list for the next day (fine, expected)anytime between 9-5 was our 'appointment '- they will call 45 mins to them showing up so you can get home, luckily the call came in after my BF was off work (2 in the afternoon), otherwise i would have had to burn a day at work. ****Biggest issue came with the bill. Was quoted $109- for diagnostics(come out see what is wrong), the ACTUAL charge was $250- for the diagnostics- that is not to repair or replace anything! Just say something is wrong. Will not be back to this company and should've read more reviews, even though they came recommended from word of mouth.

I usually read reviews prior to engaging with any company. For some reason I did not with Haller. Thankfully, I was saved from the mistake of using this company. Recently purchased an older home and wanted the 200-amp breaker panel redone (already purchased panel and breakers). Scheduled an estimate 2 weeks in advance - an afternoon appointment with a window of 12:00-5:00.
At 4:00 on the day of the appointment I receive a call that the tech will not be able to make the appointment. After a discussion where I was talked to like a child and where it was very clear that they only cared about their schedule and not the customer's, and against my better judgement, I rescheduled the estimate. The tech finally arrives - super nice younger guy - and gives me a quote of $1495!
This is labor only - I have the equipment. I thank him, he leaves, and I immediately call a local electrician. The very next day (not 2 1/2 weeks and a missed appointment later) he arrives and quotes me $385! Don't make the Haller mistake.

Haller did all the work for our home heating oil to natural gas conversion a few years ago. They have since done duct cleaning and installed a whole home dehumidifier. As well as a few quotes that we did not use (hot water heater, solar panels). With all things being equal we paid close to 6 thousand to install a new trane 2.5 ton, 13 seer a/c unit, furnace, natural gas hub, lines, electrical, pipes, freon, etc.
This includes a warranty and first two cleanings. Annual preventive maintenance cleaning for our A/C unit runs in the 100 dollar range. With a high numner of qualified HVAC companies out there, we think it was wise to use Haller. Relatively quick professional installation, cleaned up site afterwards, followed up with any questions and issues.
