I had them out to look at a heat pump that wasn't working. The system was less than 10 years old. The service guy spend 2 hours checking it out and concluded that the compressor was broken and whole system needed replaced which would have costs thousands of dollars. Then I called another guy for a second opinion. He spend 5 minutes looking at it, bought a new capacitor for $15, and the system was working within the hour.
Then I had to argue with the boss two times about not paying the charge. There is an issue with either incompetence or ethics. I greatly suspect it's an ethics problem and I won't ever be using this company again.
