Haldeman Mechanical, Inc. has been serving Manheim, PA and greater Lancaster area for three generations. From our office on Old Line Road in Manheim, we serve homeowners in northern Lancaster and southern Lebanon counties with emergency HVAC and plumbing repairs, as well as regularly-scheduled and maintenance calls.
Prices for new HVAC systems can vary dramatically. Some factors that affect pricing are the size of the system (based on the size of your home), the type of system (oil, gas, etc.), and the efficiency rating (the higher the rating, the higher the initial cost). Most systems will range in price from $5,000 to $8,000, based on a combination of these three factors. From the initial call for water pressure issues, to the final clean-up after installing our new water softener, it was a delight to work with Haldeman Mechanical. The serviceman was professional, knowledgeable and wore a mask while he was in our home (we did, too, while we interacted with him). Ken explained the problem to us and the remedy, and installed the softener neatly in the next visit. We are VERY satisfied with Haldeman Mechanical.

We have been using Haldeman Mechanical for 32 years. They have replaced our 400+ feet submergeable water pump on a sleet/rainy Friday night. They installed our gas furnace. They replaced our heat pump in 90+ degree temperatures. It has always been done with one phone call and a swift response. They could not be anymore courteous. We highly recommend them.

They have worked on our well system twice now. First time to replace the well pump and now to fix a leak coming off the filter unit. Both times they have been professional, friendly, and competitive rates. We will never use anyone else. Both times Ken came and both times he is very helpful and explains very well what needs to be done and why.

We have used Haldeman Mechanical for decades with excellent results. First, on our 150 year old farm with an old stone house and barn that often needed some pretty creative solutions to plumbing issues. Now, in a new home, their experienced service person has solved problems with water quality, and offered useful suggestions for making adaptations in a bathroom. We know when we call that they will respond promptly and efficiently.

We have been using Haldeman Mechanicical for several years now. When an emergency type of situation arises such as no heat in the dead of winter they can and do always show up within a few hours. They are very timely with regular service work also. The technicians are knowledgeable and always courteous. We're extremely pleased with their work and glad we found them. Highly recommended.

Note: I am not receiving a discount for leaving this review, I think they are just that awesome. I got an outside spigot installed. Communication was quick, efficient, and the tech who came out was the one of the friendliest people! They made everything easy and worked with my time schedule and even showed up a little earlier which helped me get out the door on time. Came home from camping to a pool in our yard line between house and well broke. they had a crew out in day dug and replaced lines in 3 hours. Two months later hot water heater leaking had guys out next day replaced in hour. Very friendly employees great work and very reasonable rates. would highly recommend they are our new go to company.
