I've been using Five Star for many years. They are always professional. I've never had any problems. Marty is great to work with. He is honest and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Five Star Heating & Air.

Highly Recommend. Five Star service techs have always been professional, prompt, polite, knowledgeable and helpful. I have been a customer for 5 years. I initially found them for AC repair, and have been using ever since for annual AC and Furnace checkups. They have a great plan available for that. I also hired them to install a garage heater. Every experience with Five Star has been a pleasure.

Barb is extremely polite and accommodating. Quincy was very professional, knowledgeable and honest. It's great to work with them! I use this company for my heating and cooling needs and they are amazing. The technicians are very knowledgeable and polite. When you call to schedule service you might be lucky and get Barb on the phone, who is the sweetest lady who truly cares about her customers. Jimmy came out today to service the air conditioner. Very honest, efficient, and thorough. They are also reasonably priced. I signed up for the annual contract which saves you a little bit of money.

The reason our review will be very helpful to any potential clients of this business is because we were in a very desperate situation due to the fact that we had a problem with A/C during the past season in a newly bought house. We were using a a small business who not only kept coming trying to figure out the problem but also during that process charged us $2,500.00 and the system still didn't work starting this season.

We are extremely satisfied with 5 Star, the technician Marty was very knowledgeable, experienced and competent. He explained every step of his diagnostic work and resolved the issues during one visit. We wish we were to have hired them to begin with, but the other business was recommended by the first technician who at least was honest and after two visits he said he was not able or qualified to resolve the issue. LOOK NO FARTHER THIS IS THE BEST COMPANY WITH THE BEST TECHNICIANS AND THE EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSIONAL WAY OF CONDUCTING BUSINESS. We are speaking from experience and want this review to help people in avoiding to deal with a random guys.

Big win for the FiveStar team! When our previous Hvac people dropped the ball, Dave the service manager took our service request and ran with it. He checked through our system, found the problem and helped us with an irritating problem with our two year old AC unit. Then Isaac (installer) came to complete the repair and continued the same great service that Dave had given us.

Thank you to everyone that helped us with our situation! From the office staff with pleasant customer service and skilled project management, to the excellent problem solving skills of the service team. Everyone exceeded our expectations. We used 5 Star to install two of the most advanced heating and cooling heat pump systems for cold climates (the Mitsubishi Hyper Heat unit) in July of 2021. This eliminates the electric AC compressors and natural gas furnaces in our 3,100 sq ft house. The team at 5 Star was super. Work was excellent and timely. Pricing was reasonable. Now, after a minus 9 degree day, the units performed as advertised without using any auxiliary (resistance) heat. Super pleased!

I highly recommend them. Yesterday Dave R. Installed a new humidifier. He was very respectful and wore a mask without me even having to ask and covered his shoes, and professional. He finished in a timely manner and explained everything to me. I have been with the company for 2 years and very happy with the customer service I receive, and always get a text to let me know when the service person will be coming.

Tony came out at 9:30 in the morning on a Sunday. Got our AC back up and running quickly. No extra selling, etc. Definitely would recommend.

5 stars for 5 Star! We recently moved to the area and were in need of some new local contractors for service on/in the fixer upper we bought. Our neighbors recommended 5 Star and they have been great. We ended up needing a new AC system. 5 Star's pricing was very fair, and they explained our options to us, we ended up having them install our new units and we have been very pleased with the install, and subsequent follow up.

We hired 5 Star to replace our furnace, AC and water heater. Bill came out to give us a quote and was wonderful to work with. He took the time to be very thorough in his explanations and provide us with a few different options. He was very considerate of our thoughts and how we generally heat and cool our home and took those notes into consideration when he made his final recommendation for what we should purchase.

The two texts that came out for installation were amazing as well. It was a very relaxed day and they did a beautiful job with the installation. The pipe work looks a hundred times better than it did before. Overall, I would highly recommend this company they did a fantastic job from start to finish.

They came out and said work was Needed. When I got the bid it was very high I asked for a breakdown and they would not give one and kept saying they are a flat fee company. Had another company out who did the work for 1/4 of what their bid was. When you won't be transparent how your coming up with pricing there is a reason now I know. please compare prices before using them.

I have been a customer of Five Star for years but never needed to call them for an emergency. Someone was able to come out today when the gas company shut off my gas due to a leak. I didn't even know they offered this service. Marty came out and fixed all of my issues. As usu. he was professional. He assessed all of the issues and fixed them all.

It took some time but he kept checking in with me to let me know what was going on and showed me what was wrong and was fixed. I would recommend Five Star Heating to everyone for your heating and cooling needs but now also for gas issues.

They did a great Job installing new furnace and AC. House has never been this cool since I moved in and love it.

Bill came out to check on my air conditioner not cooling and said that i probably had a leak and he needed to use a special dye and light to find this leak. He said this was the only way even though I had asked him several times on his first visit if he could check for a leak by other means. He said it would take at least 24 hours and would need to come back with the special light to find this leak.

He also charged me for 2 pounds of freon which i questioned since i have a leak in the system and didn't want to pay for something that is continuing to leak. When he came back for this return service call, he used a sound machine (not a light) to check for the leak. I was shocked! I asked him why he didn't do this on his first call, and why used the dye when he had this other machine to detect the problem! He charged for $415 and i still have the leak! Barb in the office said that they would make this right but it's been a week and no one has gotten back to me.

Poor experience to say the least. Bought a furnace and air system several years ago. Salesman up sold me on a dehumidifier that has flooded my laundry room no less than five times. At one point they admitted they don't even sell that version any longer because of all the problems. Unfortunately they kept all my money and once again it is flooding our home.

Bill gave me a fair price on a new equipment (furnace, AC, heat exchanger, new smart thermostat) and the technicians Dave and Adam showed up on time and were polite, professional and respectful. I am really happy with the service and the equipment and highly recommend Five Star.

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone looking for repairs on air conditioning, or furnace units. A tech from 5 Star came out and compiled less data than what I had explained over the phone; the motor wasn't working correctly. The tech ended up suggesting a new furnace and gave a quote. At this point, I figured, "Gotta get some quotes for comparison." Called a second company: Guy came out, tugged on the motor belt and the motor started.

He put some lube in the holes and said, "Call me when this thing actually fails and I'll give you a quote." Maybe a fluke by 5 Star, or maybe the company has changed directions. They have been around for a long time. If nothing else, they are good at making money. Second star is given for the nice reception staff when placing the call.

After 16 years, my furnace bit the dust. The technician from five star came by on a troubleshooting call got us running again for a couple days until we can get the unit replaced. He explained his estimate which was fair and competitive. He even showed me some ways to save some money. We bought the new system that night. The team that came in to do the replacement was right on time super fast ferry professional polite a couple really great guys. Five start does excellent work!

I think from top to bottom this is a well run business. Pricing is totally fair, and the attention to detail is amazing. Communication was great both with the managers and technicians alike. I worked with them on an AC install. They showed up on time, did the job for the quoted price (despite having to bring in additional people), and were very detail oriented in assuring everything was completed to my satisfaction.

They even pointed out another issue I was having with some leaking water lines that eventually would have caused additional damage. They came back a week later and repaired that as well for a very minimal charge. The company is just excellent.

Day before the 4th AC went out. Called and left a message at 7am, received a call-back by 9am, Bill, the tech, arrived at 10:30 and issue was diagnosed and fixed within 30 minutes. From the call-back phone call to the goodbye handshake with Bill, each person was friendly, professional and talked to me like they cared. Which they did. I'm sure most companies are like that, but Five Star came thru for me and I'll be using them again.

Had 5 Star install new HVAC and some new ducting in my house. Very satisfied with the installations. I appreciated that 5 Star was very concerned with customer satisfaction and returned to my house a couple of times to make sure I was 100% satisfied. I would recommend them, and use them again if needed. The installation techs Dave and Adam were professional, efficient and neat. The follow up tech, Isaac, was just as responsible and respectful.

Five Star is truly amazing. We had another company install a brand new heating and AC unit. They didn't know anything about the Trane unit they installed for us and for a month we went back and forth with them to get it up and running correctly. When we truly knew they didn't know what they were doing we called Five Star. They came into a mess and a mess that wasn't theirs.

They handled this horrible situation with such compassion and grace. Their entire staff stepped up for three days to get all the needed parts to get our AC running and running correctly. Their tech David was supposed to be off, but instead came to our house to get the air going. I can not compliment this company enough. They went above and beyond to help us. I would highly recommend Five Star. My 27 year old AC died just before the hottest weekend of the year. NOBODY could do the install for a full week. Bill at Five Star made a miracle happen and my new AC was installed the next day! His price was more than fair. Adam & Dave did the install, and they couldn't have been nicer. Happy customer!

Was recommended this shop by Dad's friend who had a furnace/ac installed by them -- someone who got at least 10 quotes before selecting them. Impressed with their attention to detail and suggesting innovative things I had not thought of, and other HVAC installers did not suggest. Furnace/AC quote was reasonable and competitive to other companies, but expensive none-the-less.

No installation services yet. They only sell Trane brand (Ingersoll Rand). Trouble with 5* is if you want the Trane 10 year labor warranty, you have to pay yearly maintenance and can only have the service done by 5* or someone *they* select. This is in stark contrast to the Amana 10 year labor warranty you pay once up front and can have it serviced by *any* HVAC shop authorized to work on that equipment and Amana recommends but does not require annual maintenance by a shop.
