Not only that, but based on Roberts assessment, we're not spending $10,000 with another HVAC company that said, ".you have a crack in your heat exchange and you're leaking Carbon Monoxide and your lives are in danger". Cesar arrived first thing in the morning and diagnosed the problem quickly. He had our AC running again within a very short time. He was polite and very professional. Brandon from Unique came to inspect our A/C that was not working. He arrived on time. He took the time to really look at the A/C, not try to sell us a new one! He was able to fix some wires that were fried out. So pleased with the outcome! No sales pitch for a new unit! He fixed the problem and advised us how the unit was doing overall and that we would probably need a new unit in about a year! The best! The only ones we will call in the future!

I had no heat and needed repairs fast. Palatine Unique Indoor had a technician at my house within a few hours. Repair completed quickly. Technician very professional and neat. This the second time this company has given me immediate service for a no heat situation. Highly recommend.

Unique Indoor Comfort takes care of my office and my home. Maintenance programs for both are affordable. James is a great guy and the technicians are really knowledgeable.

I read the other reviews here and all I can say is I had a good experience with them after a bad one with another HVAC contractor. The other one misdiagnosed the problem and tried to charge and excessive amount for the repair. They have done work for family and friends. Wish I had called them first. They helped me out quickly and professionally. I have recommended them and would again.

I called Unique Indoor Comfort after we moved into a new house and the furnace was making sounds and had a burning smell. Joe sent someone out right away and they worked with me to find out the issue and get it repaired the same day. Joe and the technician Frank went above and beyond- she even gave us money off our service fee! Thanks Joe and Frank!

They came to my house argued with what I wanted done then after 2 half week wait received the most generic estimate listing no details to work to be performed with outrageous price. example 30x30 garage needed furnace and 20 ft of trunk duct with 4 take offs. Their price almost 8000$ furnace is 700$ duct maybe another 1000$ what are they doing with the other 6k. This was after yelling at them about installing one in garage that my insurance stated they were replacing.

They say that we can not get closet units (obsolete) and that is just not true. I have contacted other companies and within the same hour they had the units and reasonable quotes available to me. Unique wanted to go through the wall, leave an empty closet and acted as if there wasn't any other solution/or remedies. Thus charging for the hole left in the wall. to give more business and money to another contractor. Dishonest and Lack integrity. They are also recommended by our association, ALMA Property Management. So kick backs could be why they are so expensive.

RIPOFF! Beware of "Jo" she's the queen of ripoffs.especially to the elderly. I bought a house that they had installed a giant outdoor A/C & Furnace. It went down after 4 years of being installed. Called Unique, spoke to Jo to set up the call - they wanted $160 for the call- add another $1500 for them to fix the A/C & Furnace. I called around and got another company to do all the work for $900! Turns out Unique installed a business grade unit on a ranch house which is borderline illegal.

Their service guy took fuses and other parts with him which he should have left. I called to speak to "Jo" the female Supervisor and she was screening her calls. " Jo is not here" - lady- I spoke to you a week ago - you are Jo. She admitted she was screening her calls from "Telemarketers" I asked her why her repair man took vital parts of my unit. she said she woudl call me back. 3 days later- no call.

I called again, Voicemail. Left a message- No return call. My neighbors told me the old couple who lived here were swindled into buying the A/C & Furnace and they paid out the nose. Please- Stay away from these guys.

EXPENSIVE! I was having a problem with the AC not cooling the house. The AC ran OK, but it was not blowing cold. The serviceman arrived on time, was polite and professional, and repaired my air conditioning. But come on, 3 hours and $500 to hose off the unit and add a pound of refrigerant! And he didn't have the refrigerant with him (on an AC service call), and he wanted to charge me the travel time go and get it. I have had this service done many times, and it usually takes about an hour, not three hours. I got my AC running, but at a big price. I won't call them again.
