John and Tony are a gift bestowed upon this world by the Gods above. The moment they walked into my home the heavens above opened. Their bliss and grace rained down in a way that can only be described as spiritual. Their presence transcended what was an otherwise normal day and transformed it into an effervescent experience that the greats among us would envy. Talent, wit, humor, dedication, honesty, friendship and comradery are the best words to describe these two beautiful souls. Spirit brothers, may good fate and fortune follow you to your graves. Sincerely, your favorite hoof trimmer, AL$ET

Ryan and Jacob provided excellent service. I just had new units installed in my home last week. From start to finish was a pleasant experience with Total Comfort. Starting with an experienced and professional rep Brandon, whom gave me educational background of the process and setting me up right away, I had my AC unit the very next day! Ryan and Jacob ensured the installation was up to my satisfaction and answered all my questions for the new unit. If I have future services or needs I will definitely use Total Comfort in the future! Satisfied consumer review.

Charged my credit card prior to service. Would only quote a total fee of $1,500. I asked for a breakdown of that amount. I was told by the tech and by the office person that "that is just how we do it, no breakdown of costs". I called back to cancel the contract and asked for refund. That was when the office person magically came up with an exact figure of costs.
Then the next day I see $299.30 had been taken from my bank account. This was not in the contract as No Work Had Been Done. And the service tech initial call was only $99. And the $1,500 was just to replace a coil. The coil part was under parts warranty. So, wow, $500 an hour labor charge. I just want my $1,500 back into my bank account. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK! And I would give this company no stars. They are disgusting.

When my air went out, Total Comfort sent someone out the same day to assess the problem. When it was determined I needed to replace my system, I was able to get a new high-efficiency furnace and AC installed within a week. Tony and his team did a great job and had it up and running in less than a day. They made sure I knew the ins and outs of the system, and answered all of my questions. Left the area nice and clean. Definitely recommend!

I had three contractors quote a new furnace and air conditioner. All contractors quoted the similar Carrier systems. Brad met with us to discuss our needs, priorities, and concerns. He listened carefully and answered all of our questions. Total Comfort submitted the lowest bid of the three contractors. The Carrier system Brad quoted was the best of the three systems.
The installation was completed within the week. Keith and John did a fantastic job. It was a cold and rainy day. John completed all the outdoor work. It must have been miserable. He did a great job and had an incredible attitude, regardless of the bad weather. Keith did a great job making sure the installation was perfect and explaining the system's operation. Keith and John are a perfectly tuned team. I will definitely recommend Total Comfort to any of my family and friends.

Total Comfort was very professional with excellent customer service. They were transparent about their prices and the work they did, making it an easy decision to work with them. Tony, Dylan, and Drew were prompt and performed the installation quickly and thoroughly with minimal disruptions in my day. I highly recommend Total Comfort and will work exclusively with them in the future!

Charged my credit card prior to service and its was for a higher amount. This company refused to refund the overage. They also charged me for everything, the furnace, AC, and installation immediately even though the work was scheduled 3 months in the future- they were "busy" until then. Total Comfort never returned, as promised, they were supposed to check the pressure in my New AC. Never did, I had another HVAC service do that.

Keith and his crew John and Jeff were all professional! They were prompt on starting and worked diligently all day until they completed the job. Good use of drop clothes and a clean sweep of the work area after done made us happy. Keith was outstanding with his explanation on how to handle all the settings on the furnace and humidifier. Total Comfort is fortunate for having a work team like Keith's. Happy we worked with Home Depot and Total Comfort. A winning team!

Bryan Nelson came out to do a regular maintenance tune up on my 16 year old furnace and had to break the news that we needed a new one. He scheduled the install 3 days later and made me feel good about about this large unexpected purchase and I feel like he really took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. He was very polite, professional and wonderful to do business with.
Even after the install he checked in and made sure everything was working properly. We will definitely recommend Bryan and the Total Comfort team to our friends and family. Thank you!

At first I was a little skeptical. The installer, Tyler seemed too young to be knowledgeable, but he explained the whole process very professionally. He answered all my questions, was very respectful, and cleaned the work area up nicely after finishing our install. I highly recommend him, and will not hesitate to use Total Comforts services again.

The person who came over was professional and restored a functioning ACCOUNT by giving me a few different options. Although long term, all 15 year old appliances need to be replaced-he added Freon for the time being. Two weeks and lots of heater later-it is doing a great job. Thanks for explaining for directly short and long term options so I could make a decision that is good for me.

Signed up for a promotion at the Washington County Fair. Total Comfort was offering $89 for a combined AC/Furnace Tune-Up Service. They were there next to the bingo booth, at the Total Comfort Trailer, with Home Depot logos adorning the trailer as well. The rep said this was a better deal than in store, where Home Depot was offering AC or Furnace Tune-Up Service for $89 + 3 free filters.
The Washington County Fair Deal by Total Comfort, as Debbie explained, was $89 total for both AC and Furnace, but no free filters. This was certainly better than $89 per, so we signed up. I have a yellow receipt they gave me and a date of service. They never showed up, which prompted me to call. When I got a hold of the rep, I was told that they needed to charge me $129 and would not honor the $89 Fair Special.
I protested and was promised a call from their manager. That call never came. Stopped by Home Depot today, to see if a manager there could help me with my issue. They keyed into the system the same deal as the fair, + free filters and said a Total Comfort Rep would call me soon. They did, but was only going to service one or the other for $89. I called the Home Depot Manager back and he is calling Total Comfort to see how he can help.
At this point, I do not even know if I want this company in my house. Total called back just now and said they will honor the Fair special. The call was short, to the point, and offered no apology or explanation regarding the sudden change of heart. A date is set, but I am still a little reluctant at this moment about letting them near our home. Will have to think on this.

We had our heating system installed by Total Comfort in 2012 through their arrangement with Home Depot. We were told at the time that we had a 5 year warranty on service and a 10 year warranty on parts. I made a service call in early January 2017 when our furnace was not working, and made sure to clarify with them on the phone that the work would be covered under warranty.
The tech was very friendly, professional, and did a thorough job, but ended up doing a tune-up without first asking for my permission or consent. I was quoted a price of $149 (later dropped to $99) when, again, I expected the work to be covered under warranty. Rather than haggling with a stranger in my home, I paid the fee and took it up with management.
They forced me to call several times and delayed a response for over a month. They seemed to acknowledge the fact that the average person would not have the background to know the point at which it turned from a service to a maintenance call (particularly since this was never explained or communicated to me in any way), and yet refused to refund my $99.
I find this particularly ironic in light of the statement on their bill that reads "You always know what our charges will be before we perform the work." That is the exact opposite of what happened here. Rather than acknowledging their mistake and refunding the charge made to me in error, they offered a discounted rate on a preferred customer plan.
I will obviously have no need for this because I will never do business with them again. They essentially robbed me of $99. I am certain that they do not care that they are losing me as a customer. For the sake of fellow consumers, please make sure that they thoroughly outline their charges BEFORE the work is done, in writing, and sign that this is the amount you will be paying. This is what they promise in writing, in theory, but in practice is the exact opposite of my experience with them. Buyer beware.

SCAM! Had a guy come out because some heat vents were blowing cool air. He was here for over 3 hours and said he didn't know what was wrong, possibly a zoning issue, but he promised that someone would call me the next day with ideas. It has been 2 weeks and I never got a call. I called today because I wanted an explanation for why I was not called and a refund of the $100 I paid the guy to do NO work and give me a false promise.
One of their service managers today told me that they had on record from 2009 when my new furnace was installed that there was indeed a zoning issue. And I can't be mad that nothing was fixed because "Well he was a tech guy not a service guy so he couldn't have done anything anyway. " OK so you had ON RECORD the whole time that there was a zoning issue, yet you sent a tech over anyway when you KNEW what the problem was and knew that he was not qualified to fix it?!
And now they want to send in the service guy who installed my furnace in the first place so he can look at it. Absolutely not. Why didn't you send him the first time? Why did you make me pay for a tech who couldn't do anything? Because TC wants to suck as much money out of you as possible. I have been a loyal customer for 15 years. I am leaving and never coming back. Oh and they won't give me a refund. Heyoooo.

Had Total Comfort quote a new furnace and a/c. Liked their salesman and all that they stood for but had a more competitive quote. The quote they provided included a price match guarantee. The competitive quote met every requirement noted in their price match guarantee so I asked them to honor it. It has now been 6 days and they have not communicated with me. I am not impressed nor do I understand why they offer a guarantee that they don't stand behind.

Installed new system. Quality of install was excellent however the design and space wasted in this old house was very very unfortunate. What was planned was not possible to do and design was essentially done on the fly by install crew. System was very expensive and if I could do the whole thing over, ,I certainly would.
