What started as a small sheet metal company in Maryland is now one of the most established geothermal companies in the entire country.
According to the U.S. Department of Energy's Energy Star program, leaky ducts in attics or crawlspaces can account for 20 percent or more of a home's heating and cooling energy losses. This results in higher utility bills for you and difficulty keeping your house comfortable. Run your system, and check all the ducts and joints you can access.
Most people immediately think of furnaces when opting to heat their homes. However, boilers provide a highly effective heat option, have a long life, can reach high heating efficiencies, and some types require little or no pumping energy. Boilers are an important part of a central heating system. They're a continuous closed loop of pipes carrying heated water (or steam) throughout your home.
You may have heard about ductless heating and cooling systems, but do you know about their advantages? The most common HVAC systems are central air conditioners and heat pumps that use ducts to deliver conditioned air throughout a building. Ductless systems are more flexible than traditional systems, because ductless systems don't use ductwork.

All repair services and maintenance have been performed by professional engineers and technicians at a reasonable price. This has included: replacement of the ground loop circulation pump and manifold; recharge of the loop with demineralized water; and replacement of the heat exchanger and gas for my WaterFurnace system. Not only were the jobs performed correctly, but the system runs more quietly now than it did when new. Moreover, the technical staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. First rate!

Since the son Scott took over the business, its gone down. I invested in my Geo system for longevity as I was told 2- 3x's over a gas furnace. Each time a tech came here, they left and something new came up. 2 pipes starting leaking after there last time. Told me its an old unit and what do I expect. I was told that new pipes were needed and couldn't service what was there.
Then my coil needed to be replaced. I have referred countless people to them. I asked them if there was anything they could do for me because of all the money I was putting out this year alone. Scott said he would work something out for me. Tina sent me a quote for almost $5800! I called and she said Scott took $600 off the ticket already. That would put my annual repair with them over $10,000!
I called another Water Furnace company ( Loves Mechanical ). Extremely Professional and came out and evaluated the system. They agreed that the coil needed to be replaced and replaced the washers needed in the pipes that they said could not be serviced for $2600! I've heard ( I'm in the construction / service business ) they've lost some good techs and are just keeping their head above water

We have used Ground Loop for 16 years. They installed Geothermal heating in our home while being built and also radiant floors throughout the home. Ground Loop upgraded our system a few years ago. I had Ground Loop install my system a few years back and have used their maintenance program ever since. My ground loop heating and air system runs great and I love how I save over 40% versus my standard system in my previous home. Ground Loop's employees are always polite and super knowledgeable. I plan on using their winter & summer maintenance program to ensure my system is always working properly.

Let me just say I have never met a man at such a young age be so competent, knowledgeable and able to take customer service To a whole new level. Previously I had two different companies supposedly maintaining my system. Little did I know just how incompetent they were.
My system had only been working at 25% capacity, the settings were not set properly, and my system always ran poorly since being installed. Thankfully I found Justin who saved the day. He knew exactly what the problem was and what to do. My system is now working perfectly. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. He is definitely worth his weight in gold. WAY TO GO JUSTIN!

We have had a geothermal heating and air system from Ground Loop for 12 years. 16 months ago we needed to replace our 10 ton unit because one of the compressors was broken and the unit no longer could be purchased. Our system was overhauled in about two weeks. We are very happy with the replacement unit. It is much more energy efficient. The staff was great from start to finish.
Ground Loop comes to our home twice yearly for routine maintenance, etc. Justin is our technician we see most of the time. Excellent representation of the company. Always professional, explains what is going on, etc. I would recommend Ground Loop.
