C & C Olympic Heating

I called C and C heating a couple of weeks ago when our furnace was out. It was right before a cold snap. Another company came out and told me I needed a new furnace and it would be three weeks before I could get one! Jim from C and C came out and got our furnace working! He is an amazing technician and also educated us in terms of furnace maintenance. I am now a loyal customer!

I've dealt with 3 guys from this company and they are GREAT! They are reliable and Fair priced. The least experienced guy has 15 years plus experience. They communicate and follow through. The receptionist even knows what going on when I call and ask for feedback about the job completed. I would defiantly recommend C& C Olympic Heating.

Jim was awesome! I'm a new home owner and at no point did I feel taken advantage of or pressured into other services. On the contrary, Jim was incredibly kind and helpful. I got a full lesson in gas furnaces as he walked me through each step of how it works. Additionally, I now know about filters and what to look for, the benefits and setbacks for high-efficiency furnaces and I feel very well prepared for any future inquiries. I have used C&C for years, and have always been very impressed with their quality of work, professionalism, punctuality, and communication. As with any service/trade industry, there is a cost (ever-increasing it seems) just for someone to "show up". But that minimum cost should be to your advantage; to have an HVAC/Heating system assessed and diagnosed.

It's also an opportunity to learn something. Jim, the technician that has come to my place a few times over the years, is a great teacher. I always learn a lot from him, and even when the "fix" is simple, I feel like I get my money's worth from the minimum charge because he takes times to educate me; to the point where I have been able to troubleshoot minor issues on my own, and even resolve them without needing to call in a professional like Jim.

When I read certain reviews of this company, or reviews in general, the most common negative reviews seem to center around expectations. If you have set your expectations too high, or for an outcome that is not commensurate with the product or service being sought, you will have a negative experience and take it out on the company. My unsolicited advice is to always ask questions of any service company before scheduling any work, so you can set "reasonable" expectations. Then, if they aren't met, then you have legitimate cause for issue.

C&C installed a new Mitsubishi mini-split in my old, weird floating home. I was very particular and wanted none of the lines visible, but the outside unit at the far end of the house, and I wanted a ceiling-mount unit downstairs, and I wanted them to install a floor-standing unit upstairs but recess it in the wall to make it less visible. Chris consistently gave me the cheaper options as well to consider, but absolutely understood what I was going for.

The price went up a bit thanks to some of my requests, and he sent a clear "your cost is going to be around XXXX higher because of YYYY -- are you ok with that" email. They showed up on time. They worked hard all week. They stayed until long after dark on Friday so that they would get it done for me. They came back a month or two later to help tamp down some vibrations.

This was not a cheap installation (although I think they were still a good value), but worth every penny. Likely I will never need them again, but I would 100% recommend them.

C&C Olympic was a referral from a friend. Since their pricing seemed reasonable I had them replaced my furnace and add an A/C unit in my 2002 home. I couldn't be happier. The owner owner and his son both worked all day to complete the install and left my garage cleaner than they found it! Plus, they notice my DYI water heater install was done incorrectly and replaced all the venting, pressure tank and earthquake strap at no additional charge. TY C&C Olympic!

We wanted to install AC this spring into our house and got bids from several other companies in the area, Black Lion, MM Cooling and C&C Olympic Heating. We chose to work with Chris and team because they had a fair price, but most importantly they helped identify the perfect system for us now and that would work for us in the future. They made recommendations on how to make our furnace quieter by installing new metal sheeting and insulation which made a huge difference.

Great install team and felt like we were working with family friends the whole time. AC works wonderful, and we now have a great team to reach out for any future HVAC needs. Go no further than working with the team at C&C.

My heating system failed in less than 3 weeks after repair by C&C Olympic heating. They refused to service it even though it was under warranty, calming it's fault with my heating system. (And did not even bother come to look at the heating). Will never use C&C Heating again.

Our experience with C&C Olympic Heating was one of the best we've ever had with any company, period. Chris and his team are professional, thorough, honest, very capable, and dependable. We had an old furnace threatening to fail on us, and we'd been thinking about adding central air for a long time. C&C gave us a really reasonable bid for the job, and far exceeded our expectations - Chris and his crew removed the old furnace, and installed the new unit, along with new A/C, in just one day!

The inspector even commented on how impressed he was with the quality of their work! As if all of this wasn't enough, I'd also just recently replaced our water heater, and hadn't had a chance to finish up the install (needed to swap the expansion tank and reconnect relief valve). Chris and his crew saw the need, volunteered to fix it up, and adamantly refused to accept any payment for their work and materials (as another reviewer noted, they are very serious about building relationships, not making sales).

We were completely blown away - I didn't think service this good existed anymore. The entire project came in below their quoted price. Our gas fireplace had failed around the same time, and we learned C&C offered repair as well. The tech came out on schedule, with the obscure part we needed (for well below the expected price!), and even did some custom fabrication work to get everything properly mounted.

I think the whole thing took less than 3 hours. Perfect service, couldn't be happier. I can't imagine a single reason ever to go with anyone else for heating/AC issues. These guys are absolutely the best - look no further than C&C Olympic Heating.

These guys are the best! Very reasonable pricing and top notch service! Chris and his son came out on short notice and did a fantastic job installing a whole new heating system in my basement. They knew exactly what I needed, provided top of the line equipment and did a super clean install. The whole job took only two days and everything works perfectly!
