Clark Heat and Air was started by Charlie Clark in 1973. Over the years we became known as the most knowledgeable and fairly-priced heating and air conditioning company in the region. As an R.O.P. Instructor, Charlie would be instrumental in training many of the future technicians and contractors in the Sacramento area. In 2001 Charlie retired and Clark Heating and Air had a new owner: David Ball, a native of Sacramento, and an M.E.T. Engineer who graduated from Sacramento City College. David continued Charlie's legacy of honest and professional service.

Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ration is the rating of the system's performance during a season, wherein the use and load of the system is at its peak. This state regulated program is now required by law and enforced by third-party (not the hired contractor) organizations to test the overall efficiency of your home, rating it on a scale of 0-250 in compliance with Title 24 Building Energy Efficiency Standard's prescriptive requirements.

Excellent service! Chris has been taking care of our HVAC needs for years. He is happy to explain everything he's doing in as much detail as you want and is proactive in identifying problems. When he heard a sound in the system this maintenance check up that he hadn't heard 6 months ago he methodically tracked down the source and provided pros and cons for repair based on the overall age of the system.
We will definitely be renewing our maintenance agreement with Clark! 2021 Update - Continued outstanding and thorough service! Our AC went out over the weekend and when I called Monday morning they were able to get us on the schedule for the afternoon. As this was our 1st time meeting Scott, he took the time to share his HVAC background as well as the process Clark had him go through when he started (going out with Chris initially) to help reassure us that we were in good hands (in more than 15 years of maintaining our system no one but Chris had touched our system so we appreciated his reassurances.) When it became clear we needed a whole new unit, Scott walked us through how the install would go so we would be prepared.
He even found a way to bring the AC back online enough to provide some cooling until the new unit could be installed. Even though it was a busy week (temps in the high 90s = lots of service needs), Clark was able to complete the install within a few days. We highly recommend Clark and continue to renew our maintenance contract with them.

I love Clark Heating & Air. They're always prompt, fair & very professional! I have an older unit (on its last leg), so I've used them quite a bit in the last few years. They have, so far, always been able to get my unit working again. I plan to replace my unit in the near future & will be using Clark to do the job!
