I began working for Ray O. Cook Company in 1998 as an install helper and worked my way up to General Manager. I am passionate about the quality of work our company does and the customer service we provide to our great customers. In my spare time, I enjoy off-roading with my family and friends. I came into the industry with over a decade of experience in customer service.

From consultation to finish, everyone my wife and I encountered at Ray O. Cook was professional. I am so glad we went with this company because of how smooth everything ran, the communication from all sides of the business, and the detailed breakdowns of costs and installation. The 3 man crew(Anthony B., Roy K., and Randy F.) were highly skilled and efficient. They did a great job of cleaning up as well.

Bryce Amyx was Amazing Professional, Friendly, explained everything in detail and resolved my problem and had air immediately after replacing a part. He also called when on his way, provided his business card. An Outstanding employee. He deserves 10 plus stars. Roy O Cook is the BEST A/C company. I highly recommend them. I provided his business card to my co worker who is going to need A/C help very soon. Amazing service and immediate response when I scheduled an appointment online. I will be a customer for Life. I have used Ray O cook for our ac/heating for a couple of years. We have had Michael do our work twice and we have been very happy with his professionalism and his work. Cook was recommended by a friend. They removed the old furnace and condenser and replaced them with all new equipment in a day. It has been running perfectly for the past year. Just finished a service visit after the first year. Their technician Matt spent about an hour checking the system for any problems, tested the vent pressure, and went over all of it with me. Matt was courteous and professional as were the installers last year. I highly recommend Ray O Cook.

Heat would not come on when turned on, so I called Ray O. Cook. I agreed to the Cost ($59) to come out for diagnostic test. Per their policy once they complete the diagnostic they would tell me what the problem is, the solution to the problem and the cost to solve the problem. The technician told me I needed to replace thermostat. I accepted their recommendation and the cost.
Less than 2 months I'm having the same problem, heater not coming on when turned on. I called Ray O. Cook to inform them of the situation. Their response was they would come out and diagnose the system to see what the problem and that I would have to pay $59 again. So, I ask the guy why do I need to pay $59 again when you guys already did a diagnostic and recommended that the thermostat needed to be replaced.
Obviously that was not the problem, but yet they want me to pay for another diagnostic test fee ($59) when their initial diagnosis was wrong. Basically I was told that because the heater was coming on when the technician left, and that it had been two months it could be something other than the thermostat and they would have to charge me for another diagnostic test.
I have to pay for their misdiagnosed, along with the new recommendations at a cost of $475, diagnosis fee ($59) included, for their new recommendation to fix the initial problem (heat not coming on when turned on). Hope that the recommended solution work this time and not a temporary solution. If this is how they do business, where they diagnose and tell you the solution to fix your problem and you agree to it, then almost two months later you call and tell them, they tell you they can only come out and take a look for another $59 diagnostic test fee. Is that good business to charge your customers for a diagnostic test again, for the same issue you initially called about?
I don't think so. Stand behind your work! If you missed diagnose a problem don't charge me another diagnostic fee because you screwed up. Tell me what you new recommendations are and I will agree of disagree. RIDICULOUS! A customer shouldn't have to pay diagnostic fee for a missed diagnose.

Great crew that operated very efficiently in the install of the new system. They made sure that they protected the inside of the house from any damage or mess and cleaned up everything inside and outside at completion of the install. They made sure that the new system was functioning properly and efficiently before leaving and that we understood how the new thermostat operated.
Have used Ray O Cook services for years and have never been disappointed. Thanks to Paul who answered all our questions and set up the install and Randy's and his crew for a painless installation for us.

Derrick R. was on time for my appointment. He also was masked and respectful about social distancing. He was professional knowledgeable respectful and polite young man. He showed me his findings of my heating system which proved positive and showed that my system was still functioning efficiently. He explained a 2 year maintenance plan that actually saved me money. I was very happy with this experience because it gave me peace of mind.

Lu Rivas was awesome! He came out last summer and fixed our ancient A/C system to make it through another summer. He came this winter and worked hard to get our heater going again. Unfortunately, we have been living on borrowed time and now need a new system, but we feel confident that Ray O. Cook will take care of us with this. We have been very impressed with their responsiveness, professionalism and the fact that they didn't pressure us to buy a new system. We highly recommend them.
