However, boilers provide a highly effective heat option, have a long life, can reach high heating efficiencies, and some types require little or no pumping energy. Boilers are an important part of a central heating system. They're a continuous closed loop of pipes carrying heated water (or steam) throughout your home.

Well 11 months ago we had a new system put in and the team at Shearers were amazing, polite, professional. We had some issues and and the team at Shearers has stayed with us through the entire thing, always working with us and making sure we were on top of things. I am so please to say that Bob Champe and the whole team worked hard and resolved the issues we had and made everything right with us and supplied us with high quality service and a complete solution! We have been customers of Shearer Heating for 12 years and plan on staying with them in the future!

Shearer honestly does the best HVAC work within a 50 mile radius (at least) HANDS DOWN! I've used several other HVAC companies in the area. The amazing quality of work that Shearer does along with their outstanding customer service is incomparable. They are actual professionals who want to actually fix the issue at hand, if there is one! They won't give you the run around, they won't hang you out to dry, and they treat their employees well too. That says a lot about a company. I will ONLY use Shearer moving forward and I am definitely not the only one!

Critical: Value Condenser fan went out, called on a Saturday, tech replaced fan. The National average for this service is $450.00. My bill was $1104 the parts can be purchased on Amazon for$71. I consider this to be price gouging. I strongly do not recommend this company for service Service: Repair HVAC

I called them to look at my heat pump. They sent someone within a few hours and the technician, Jared, was awesome. He was very knowledgeable, very professional and very nice. They had to order the part to fix it but they were able to get it and install it the next day. Even the person I spoke to in the office (Scott) was super nice and helpful. No one likes to have repairs but having pleasant, competent workers makes it much easier to accept. I would highly recommend this business!

My experience with Shearer was what I thought was going to end in a good business/customer relation. I called to have my boiler checked and looked over knowing I was probably looking at a replacement? Jarrod the tech came out and checked my unit, I was informed by him that I've probably got a year or two with current system and if I replace my whole system with them that there could be a credit on my new system for the service call?
My mistake for trusting that, as I just called again to have the system replaced on 12/27/19. Now I know having a new boiler system installed isn't cheap and I was willing to pay cash for the system and a service agreement but now they say I'm out too far? If that's the case why would they take my hard earned money to check my current system but tell me I'm too far out for a whole new install?
Just sad that businesses have to treat a paying customer in that way, I'm not asking for much just a new system. Update 12/27/19 just talked to the competition in the same town as shearer they're more than happy to do an install and service agreement for a paying customer, thank goodness for competition and a reliable competitor who's not gonna take my hard earned cash for a service call and then tell me I'm too far away.
Would it make sense for your tech to offer a discount on an install if as you said I was to far to return for one? I think your confused on the issue of me demanding you come out that was not the case at all, I would never insist on you or your anyone coming out if you so choose not to, that's your call not mine! I was just looking for a professional HVAC Service and it's apparent that you are not.

We have been dealing with Shearer Heating and Cooling for many, many years. In fact we are part of their Gold Star program where we have them schedule to automatically come out in the spring and in the fall to do maintenance on our furnace and they check and make sure that things are in good working order for the upcoming season. We feel that this is a good value and protection for our furnace.
We have had many furnace hvac technicians come out through the years, but feel that we found an exceptional person when we recently had "Dustin H." do some work on our furnace. Not only was he schooled in the technical skills needed to make the repair, but he was a very friendly & personable guy. From our conversation with him we could tell that he possessed good values and a fine work ethic.things that are representative of the kind of business that Shearer's has always had a reputation for running.

Did furnace installation in December 2016. Very professional and hard working employees. Answered all questions I had. Furnace is fantastic. Just wanted to add an update since we've had this for almost two winter seasons now. House is warmer than it has ever been with setting at 70, but surprisingly, the gas bill is lower. Thank you for the excellent work Shearer Heating. Just an update. Third year and still as good as the first day.
