Rossi Mechanical provides wonderful service! They came out on short notice, same day, on a weekend to repair a HVAC that stopped working. They were able to do a repair that another HVAC company was not, saving me a huge amount of money. They are knowledgeable, friendly and beyond helpful. I cannot recommend this company highly enough!

Rossi Mechanical Services was one of two companies with a relationship with the warranty company for our Whirlpool 40 gallon (15 year tank but warranty just for 12 years) water heater. In 2017, Rossi replaced the pilot assembly. (The pilot light has gone out no less than 6x since that was replaced. Two weeks ago when it was relit again by my husband, it started blinking 4x in a row, then stop and repeat.
I called the warranty company and was directed to Rossi or the one other plumbing company which has a relationship with the warranty company. My husband had already figured out it was the temperature sensor which is part of the gas valve. Warranty company sent a new temp sensor/gas valve within a day and Rossi sent out a technician 5 days later who replaced the faulty one.
Service call was $175. Technician was at our home less than an hour, half of which was spent sitting in the truck. We knew the price of the call in advance and of course willing paid it. But within 9 hours, the water heater was not working! Calls back and forth to Rossi resulted in an employee telling my husband we should expect it should be working and another technician should be sent out to clean the screen under the water heater. ( During this time our area experienced the great rain storm / flooding resulting from Hurricane Ida, so a delay was understandable).
Husband was told to clean the screen or something underneath the water heater but a technician should be sent out to do a professional cleaning of whatever is under there. Husband did clean it and thankfully the water heater stayed on. However, when Rossi was contacted again by us to set up an appt for the cleaning to be done that should have been part of the initial service call, we were told it would cost $190 for a tech to come out and clean it!
I think this is a poor way to deal with an unfinished service call. Shame on Rossi. They have lost a customer and will get no recommendation. Needless to say, when we next need a plumber, we will certainly be calling another company. Word of mouth recommendation, for sure.

I was referred to Rossi by another company who was too busy to replace a 2 year old Hot Water heater that under warranty. Kim answered the phone and asked me to send pictures my leaky water heater and serial number. She called me right back to explain that the HWH was covered under warranty but not the labor. Pat then called me later that day with a quote for the install.
The next day we agreed to what I believe is a very fair price and they sent Kyle out the next morning at 9:30 am to do the install. Kyle performed a perfect install and was in and out in 1 1/2 hours. Rossi Mechanical met with me to review the scope of adding AC to my existing ducted gas-furnace system. They sized the equipment and provided a detailed written scope, including price options. They took into consideration access to my house and yard and even worked with me on installation sequence so new concrete pads could be poured for the equipment. I plan on calling them for all my future HVAC maintenance needs.

One of my old Weil-McLain boilers decided to not work. After doing a little triage, I kind of determined the pilot light wasn't on. The pressure was still good, but the temp was as low as the gauge would go. I bought the house 19 years ago, and this was an older unit then, so I was biting my nails. With all that is going in the world with this pandemic, I can't afford a new one.
I went to Weil-McLain their site referred me to several local service companies near Glenside/Abington. Then I read all the comments on Google and Yelp for each business. Rossi had the best comments and ratings by far. I called them first thing, but no answer. I then tried their chat bot, really my preferred method. It gives you a text to your cell phone.
I got a reply right away. They were having phone problems that morning, but they were so terrific with the service via text/IM that I couldn't imagine it being better if I called. They schedule a technician for late morning - early afternoon, I asked that they call me 10 minutes ahead of time so I could get to the property. They did. They gave me every indication that they were an honest, reputable and knowledgeable business (probably the biggest concern when engaging a new contractor), and they didn't disappoint.
The techs called me 15 minutes ahead of time, showed up when they said they would. They diagnosed the problem, replaced the part, and were done in one hour. All fixed properly. No mess. No surprises in the cost. VERY reasonable. No new boiler needed, just yet. I highly recommend Rossi Mechanical.

My family recently moved into a new home that was overdue for new HVAC systems (2 zones - attic and basement). I contacted four different HVAC shops for quotes for both Carrier and Trane systems. We selected Rossi Mechanical, who is a Trane authorized specialist, for the job. They also replaced our old water heater with a higher efficiency Bradford White model.
The team at Rossi Mechanical was great to work with from start to finish. Not only was the initial quote the most competitive, it was the most thorough and concise. The professionals that did the install were friendly, knowledgeable, and completed the job within the time frame promised. Rossi Mechanical has services and installed our heating, air conditioning and water heater for over 20 years. I recommend them to everyone I know. They even came out to service our air conditioning on Memorial Day because they knew I have a son with asthma. Steve, Pat and all the techs are knowledgeable, friendly and clean! Had Rossi Mechanical come to my home to perform an Annual Checkup on my Trane Heat Pump. The service technician was courteous, friendly and appeared very knowledgeable on Trane Heat Pumps. He answered all my questions and I didn't feel rushed. Rossi has been to my home, previously and I have always had a pleasant experience with their service technicians.
