Originally a coal and masonry yard, Ambler Coal was first located at Maple & Oak streets in Ambler. Coal was picked up daily and stored in the bins at the yard to be delivered to the homes of local families. In the mid-1940s, heating oil replaced coal as a more popular automatic heat source. In order to keep employees busy during the remainder of the year, Ambler Coal expanded the masonry supply yard. We are now the premier stucco distributor in the area and have introduced several stone veneer brands to the Southeastern Pennsylvania market.
The original manufactured stone veneer, Cultured Stone offers an extensive selection of profiles and colors to suit any project, interior or exterior. Cultured Stone set the standard for the industry and remains popular for its consistency, variety and authenticity. Before choosing a manufactured stone product, we recommend visiting our showroom (map) in Ambler, Montgomery County, PA (just outside Bucks County) to see display samples.
Dutch Quality Stone, located in the heart of Amish country (Wayne County, Ohio), has perfected the process of creating incredibly vivid, manufactured stone products. Dutch Quality Stone has become known for their authentic stone reproductions, fast turnaround times, and competitve pricing. They offer many styles and colors within their stone profiles, as well as the most accessories and accents.

Reading all of the negative reviews, I had to write in. This is a great company. I have been using them for 14 years. They have come to my house on emergency calls very early in the morning. Their staff is courteous and knowledgeable. They have done everything for us to maintain our heater so we don't have to buy a new one. The oil service is phenomenal and is less than others. This is an old school company with good values!

I was working out of Area and unfortunately needed supplies. I came here and was very impressed by the quality and quantity of Masonry and related Tools they have in stock. Definately will be using them again if I'm ever in the Area working again. Very Friendly with great customer service. (inside and out in the yard). I'm happy and comfortable with my purchase everytime I leave. I wish all Masonry Supply Stores near me were this on point

I wish I could give them no stars. They hike up the price when you are on a budget. They went up on me twice claiming this would help me not owe at the end of the year but it was March already and what they hiked it up to was too high. Of course they would have held the extra over but I never gave them all the extra they added and still had a tank full of oil over the summer. It was enough to keep me going until end of October. I called to pay my plan and they dropped me.

They do good work on your oil burning system if they come out. But they play mind games with you, if they feel you don't order enough oil from them they won't work on your home. Therefore leaving you on your own when you need there help. In my opinion not a reliable company. I gave them too much money over the years for them to stop calling me back. Not happy with them at all.

My family has been using Ambler Coal for 35 years. We've never had anything but excellent service. You get more than what you pay for with this company. Case in point. 10:45 PM.7° outside and our furnace starts making horrid noises. My mom gets on the phone with them and they answer. Not only that, they sent someone right over (at after 11PM on a Sunday!) and he fixed the furnace. Turns out the Pump was about to go, and we would have been sans heat on the coldest night of the year. You simply don't get this sort of service anymore. Can't say enough good things about this company. Thanks Ambler Coal!
