I used Hauk Bros. to make my HVAC more efficient. They installed 4 new vents, ran piping, had to cut 3 new holes in my flooring. (which was not an easy task b/c they had to cut through 3 layers of flooring & a 1 1/2 layer of self leveling floor thin set) They also installed new sheet panning for my return ducts that were rusted out & cleaned everything up from the demolition. Awesome service!
The three technicians that were here; Brian w/a helper, Rodney, & John were all amazing to have working in our home. All of them were very polite, considerate, & caring. Honestly, Hauk Bros. is hands down the best contractor I have personally worked with! I can't say enough except I'll always utilize their services in the future and highly recommend them for any HVAC needs!

Hauck Bros installed a new furnace and A/C in my home 20 years ago. When It was time for a new system, the process couldn't have gone any better. Mr Kitchen came out to review the current system and discuss my options and cost. The 2-day installation went smoothly. The technicians were very courteous and worked efficiently despite the extreme heat this week. They took the time to explain things as they worked and once the installation was done, how to program the new system. I'm very pleased with everything.

I am in the process of selling my home. The buyer wished to have my furnace inspected and chose to have Hauck Bros do the inspection. My furnace is 29 years old but meticulously upkept. Their service technician Karlos came out to do the inspection. He found nothing mechanically wrong with the furnace. He then went and "measured" the Carbon monoxide level at the vent.
He alleges it read 100PPM. His recommendation is that the furnace be red tagged and is no longer operable. He suggests that the furnace be replaced. Columbia gas was notified and came out to shut off the gas supply as 100 PPM is a dangerous level. When Columbia gas came their technician did his own carbon monoxide reading. The Columbia gas technician received a reading of 0PPM at both the register and the burner.
The "issue" that Hauck Bros made up caused panic for both me and the people trying to purchase my home. I would not recommend them to anyone. They thought they would be able to use this high pressure sales tactic to bully me into purchasing a furnace from them or risk not being able to sell my house. They are crooks

Pro: good response time to come and do a furnace diagnosis Cons: -Overcharged for diagnosis, -Correctly diagnosed, but failed to mention it was recalled item (heat exchanger), -Never followed up as promised. This was really the epitome of poor service. They came in and diagnosed the problem and suggested we get a new furnace because replacing the part would cost nearly as much.
I mentioned that the part should have a lifetime warranty on it, and the response was "we'll check into that". They then charged almost twice the original diagnosis quote because they "verified" their diagnosis. I have never heard back. I called another company and paid another diagnosis fee (which they credited after the work was complete). They immediately knew that the part was a recall item and included partial labor. I only had to pay for some of the labor. I DO NOT recommend using this company.
