Jacobson Heating & Cooling

I had an issue with my blower motor on my unit. Alex from Jacobson came over for the repair. He was thorough, and he had the job done within an hour. He was personable and professional. Not only that, but Alex also let me know my litter box was too close to the furnace and was not helping with longevity based on the amount of dander and dust accumulating and suggested I relocate it.

I am extremely happy with the level of service I was provided, especially today when it feels like businesses don't really care about the consumer experience. I'd recommend Jacobson to anyone. Again, a big thank you to Alex for his diligence and professionalism, my family and I really appreciate it.

I wasn't sure where to go for AC installation and I'm so glad I went through Jacobson. They are local, kind, quick, and have incredibly competitive prices. Our technician David D. was friendly and so helpful in helping us understand the process and what he was doing. He was also super mindful of not bringing in dirt into the house. It was nice not to have to clean up after install. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

On the first hot evening of the year, our air conditioning did not work. Called Jacobson the next morning and they sent a service technician the same day. Found out that our system was completely empty of refrigerant and the evaporator coil was leaking. Received a quote from Tom and decided to replace the AC system. A couple of days later Mike and James arrived to install a new AC.

They were on time, professional and personable. They were efficient and and completed the job in just a couple of hours. Tyler, a service tech arrived later in the day to check out the system and make sure all was well. All three of them answered our questions and made sure we understood the new system.

I needed to purchase a new furnace and air conditioning unit. My son recommended Jacobson Heating and Cooling, as he had called them before. They were prompt in giving me estimates for what I needed done, and when the time came to install my purchases, they were prompt, friendly, efficient and I appreciated Mark, James and Ross who were the installers.

I knew the minute they started, they really knew what they were doing. The service tech Alex was great, also. He answered every question I asked of him. They were all great! I would wholeheartedly recommend Jacobson Heating and Cooling!

Our furnace quit working at 5 pm on Thursday 2/17/2022. I called and left a message with the answering service asking for a phone call as soon as they opened the next morning. I explained that we had a pellet stove so we could wait until morning. I received a call from them on Friday morning about a quarter to 8. Tom was over within 10 minutes to give me a quote to replace the furnace, ours is over 40 years old and had been repaired before.

The price was what less then I expected and by 2 pm the new unit was installed and running. The installers were really great. Neat, quick, polite and professional. They were David, Matt and Mike. Thank you guys.

Hands down the best heating & cooling company I've ever worked with. Eric came to service my 2-year old furnace (yes, bought by Jacobson's) and as with our previous experience was terrific. Jacobson's knows their stuff. They answered all of my questions with patience and plain english. No hidden agenda, not trying to sell anything, just making sure I got exactly what I needed. This is truly a great group and I highly recommend them.

Greg and David did a great job of installing a new furnace and thermostat for us. They accomplished everything in less than 4 hours. Jacobson's was very responsive to our immediate needs and took care of our issues promptly and the overall service was excellent. We have used Jacobson's for over 25 years and highly recommend them.

I could not be any happier with Jacobsen's. Mark and James were incredibly professional, quiet, super-fast and way more reasonable than other companies. Our heat went out in the middle of the winter. They came the same day I called them and had our furnace replaced the very next day. I got several quotes and they were by far the least expensive (thousands less), very specific in the pricing and did high-quality work. I would definitely recommend them.

Tim and Mike came out and installed a new furnace for us this week and we have been toasty warm since then, despite the winter cold! I was concerned because we have an older home with narrow hallways and a twisty staircase but they were able to exchange the old furnace for the new without any damage to the walls or floors and took care to completely clean up after they finished the install. Our old furnace was installed by Jacobson's and their service over the past many years has been quick and reliable. We couldn't be happier!

Called them on a Friday and Jeff came out a few hours later to quote me on a furnace replacement. Greg & David came out the following Tuesday and installed it in a few hours and did a great job. Jacobson's quoted me a price far lower then the competitors that came out first and it was for the same exact unit. Overall great experience and will be recommending them to friends and family.

They were very professional during install. A little disappointed that with a recall on a part in our furnace that they aren't coming to fix the problem even though the replacement parts are at my house.

I would like to give a shout out to Matt. Who I called this weekend when my furnace went out. He was so supportive of me I was a nervous wreck. And he calm me down and really tried to help. I didn't have power so they couldn't do anything but Monday he was there first thing. Found the problems. And took care of it that day. He didn't want me to go without heat for another day so he stayed until the problem was fixed. I've been with them for over 20 years and I can say if I have any more problems in the future with anything If I can I would request him. Thanks so much.

Jacobson's has come to our rescue on two different service calls with their excellent work and reasonable charges. We always call them first! Highly recommended!

We called Jacodsons to come inspect our furnace. Upon inspection, they discovered a crack leaking carbon monoxide. Thankfully, it was only 1%, but definitely enough for us to agree that our 30 year old furnace needed to go. Tom was here the very next day to review our options and address questions. Then, the following day BJ and Michael were here. to install our new furnace.

I'm still amazed this was all done within three days. All of the guys were so very friendly, efficient, and very polite. They left the furnace area spotless and patiently explained the new equipment with much kindness. Our new furnace work incredibly well. Our home is warmer compared to the old furnace . The entire process was handled with the good old standards of customer service and grace. Thank you Jacodsons! I HIGHLY recommend you always.

It's never good news when your heater comes to the end of its life, but Jacobson approached this with options. Repair? New? They spelled out all our options and answered all our questions. When we decided to buy a new heating system, David and James exceeded our expectations. On Time! Professional! Above and Beyond! We would definitely recommend Jacobson for your heating and cooling needs.

Awesome people! Before calling Jacobson. I called 2 of the larger HVAC companies in the Grand Rapids area. Those companies would not talk price, even theoretically. Said they had to send someone out to give me an estimate.at a cost to me. Even though I told them I was 99.9% sure what the issue was with my AC unit (turned out I was right). Jacobson treated me like a person. Talked to me with a helpful, understanding attitude. Came out same day.sooner than expected.knocked out the job very quickly.and CHARGED ME LESS THAN THEY QUOTED ME!

How can you beat that? You can't! The technician was super friendly, as well. I should have called Jacobson first. I will next time, for sure. You should do the same. They're the best.

Jacobson's installed our first forced air furnace in 1990 and it wasn't until 2021 there was a need for another. The new furnaces are much quieter performing! Tom explained the time it would take for venting, hook up, and liner install, and itemized the estimate. Tim and Ross were here to install 3 days later. They answered all my questions as they came up, and left the work area clean. Very professional. I definitely recommend Jacobson's as a local company to support.

I was very pleased with how fast Tom came out. Then he fit me in the next day so I could have heat. He said it's what his mom would want & he wanted to help me. Matt & Mike came out & installed the furnace the next day. They were very efficient & kind & very patient in showing me how the thermostat will work. Jacobson is the best HVAC firm in GR, hands down. Mark and Mike installed a full new system for us in one day, including connecting the humidifier into our smart thermostat.
