This company was recommended to us by a reliable source. We're having some issues at our lake house on west side of Michigan. However I could not even get through pass the receptionist. I called twice, both times spoke to Lauren. Both times she told me she needed to speak to the Project manager. And the project manager was in "meeting all day".
I never received a call back. I don't know how this business can thrive for long if Customer cannot even get through beyond the receptionist. We will be looking for other companies.

Called Sunday evening, NO RUSH as winter had not hit yet. BUT because their schedule was full, they wanted to charge us almost aa $100 extra to come out within the next 5 days! I DID NOT request an emergency service, so why would I pay an extra $100 to ACCOMMODATE their schedule? Went with B & D, who came out AFTER hours without an additional charge.

Dave Taylor was here today to perform our A/C tune up. He arrived on time and went through the Covid19 questions, which we appreciated. As usual, he was very professional and pleasant to visit with. I had a few questions which he addressed in very understandable terms. Although our appointment was postponed for about ten days due to the pandemic, all in all everything was perfect. Thanks again for your prompt and professional service.

I needed a new system terribly but I knew nothing about what needed to be done and had a ton of questions. John answered any questions I had, I was able to text him or email him whenever even when they were closed for the great shutdown of 2020. My installation was seamless, the guys were in and out in 2 days and cleaned up everything when they were done. I 100% will recommend them to anyone.

DO NOT purchase their yearly maintenance agreement, I have been with them for around three years, each year they came to do the yearly checkup I had something wrong with the AC or furnace and had to pay to replace the part, the last one that finally did me in was to the furnace, after he had left we had not needed to use the furnace because of the weather so when we turned it on my wife smelt gas, we waited a few days because we figured the guy would have checked for a leak, after all it was a yearly "checkup ", anyway we called them and they told us the couldn't get to our place because they were on some kind of emergency call, we then called Consumers power and they confirmed the leak, we called Belaire back and they came and fixed the issue $200 later, it turned out to be a pin hole leak in a flex hose, my opinion the guy who did the yearly maintenance had to have caused it, I asked the service guy to have their service manager (Diego) call us, we never heard a word, terrible customer service

Bel-Aire Heating and Air Conditioning replaced our entire heating and air conditioning system. They did a fantastic job. They were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. From the sales person to the installers, they did a great job. Even the state inspector had good things to say about Bel-Aire. We would highly recommend them.

I was looking for a heating company that was reliable and showed up at the scheduled time. I was referred to three companies by a friend and checked them all on yelp. Bel-Aire had the best reviews so I went with them. I can't begin to tell you how great and prompt they were! Derrick, the technician was fabulous, on time and answered a lot of questions!
I spoke with Amy in service about my parts and issues that I had with my boiler and Karen in sales. I felt that they all had my best interest at heart. My boiler was 22 years old and not ever having a boiler I didn't really know what to expect. Derrick and Amy both took a considerable amount of time to talk to me about what to expect with a boiler this old.
I felt no pressure in either ordering the parts or deciding if the best option was to get a new boiler. I asked to be transferred to Karen in sales who told me all my options with boilers or transferring service to a furnace, which would be cheaper. There was no high pressure sales pitches. Everyone was fabulous and I will definitely be recommending them to friends! Thank you for being a great company that is responsible and above all on time!

We bought a new Lenox furnace in 2015 along with an annual service agreement. During our 2019 annual inspection they said they found a hole in the heat exchanger and said we needed a new heat exchanger. They would need to shut down our furnace if it was not repaired. The cost for the labor was around $750 (for a relatively new furnace!). Bel-Aire Said Lennox would reimburse us for half of the labor fee. We have made several calls to Diego at Bel-Aire to follow up on the reimbursement. He does not return calls. I would never recommend them.

Derrick stopped out and quickly completed the winter tune up. A couple of months earlier we had water coming out of the furnace ( I had no idea that could happen) and another expert came out found the cracked part and fixed it quickly. We have never had a questionable service expert in the many years we have used this company. They have all been quick, polite and helpful.

My A/C went out on a very hot July 3rd in the evening at my vacation rental in South Haven when it was full of renters including a small baby. I was out of town but I immediately called everyone I could think of including all the heating and air conditioning companies in the area. Dave W. at Bel Aire was the only one who called me back. It was already too dark to work on it that night but he promised to call me in the morning (July 4) with his ETA.
He showed up on time (around 9am), fixed it, and made a very favorable impression on my renters as well, one of whom took his card to use his services in the future. I highly recommend Bel Aire, especially Dave W. He saved my life.

We have used Bel-Aire for years and have always had positive experiences. They are our 'go-to' for HVAC. We like their service contract program for VIP care. It was great to be put on a priority list when our A/C went out in the heat of the summer this year. They were here in a blink to fix it! They treated us very well previous to having the service program too but being on their VIP list takes away the wait and worry.

Eric has been our service technician several times before. I appreciate that he is familiar with our layout and equipment and that we don't get a different tech every time. He seemed pleasant and accommodating, texted a few minutes before his arrival, and was very thorough with his evaluation and information. I have used Bel-Aire for many years and have their preventive maintenance contract. That has saved me a lot over time in terms of early diagnosis of a problem, as well as being a priority customer in the event I need after hours help.

Belaire has provided excellent service for our furnace and air conditioner for several years. This year's furnace check up was no different. Loren called before arriving on time. He was professional and thorough. Cleaned it out, replaced the humidifier pad and set us up for winter comfort. Ready for cold weather now!

I have used Belaire for years and really the only complaint I have is that the woman who schedules appointments is always rude. When ever I make my twice yearly appointments I always feel as if she is doing ME a favor! Someone there needs to have a talk with her. She is a horrible representative of their company!

I will NEVER use Belaire or recommend them to ANYONE! After a tech sits at my house for 2 hours and finally determines it is a stripped screw and then leaves without fixing the issue because I didn't buy the part from them.and then charges me $108, leaving me to goto the hardware store and fix it myself. This place is a joke! I will tell you this much right now; the disservice that you did me will certainly cost your company more that $108 in the long run!

Not exactly sure which address I call but Bel-Aire has always done me right. New furnace, AC unit, energy audit all through them and I've been happy with the service. Never priced out other companies but I have to think all servicemen are overpriced and have to make their coin so I'm not sure who the cheapest is but I'm not sure I want the cheapest work done at my house so there you go.
My only gripe and it could go for all servicemen, please don't send me a smoker. Like a car or a hotel can I request a non-smoker workman? I don't care what you do on your own time but no matter what you do, I can smell it on you and it stays around when you leave.
