Customer service severely lacking. I have used Parker -Arntz in the past to install heating and cooling systems in 2 different homes, they did a good quality work, but if you have questions about anything that the tech on site can't answer prepare to be met with very poor customer service. I can get the same level of workmanship with friendly and helpful customer service elsewhere, I would not recommend doing business with this company.

Parker was supposed to service our boiler through a Consumer's Energy program in October of 2020. Our boiler is increasingly noisy, inefficient, and unreliable. I called every few weeks for months to see when they were coming. Usually it was an excuse of COVID. I called Consumer's to complain and ask for another company. Parker finally came out in March!
They really didn't do anything. This was the biggest waste of time that I have experienced in a long time. In October of 2020 they should have passed the job to someone else.

The Gentlemen Craig & Nathan were very polite. They explained how much time they would be in my Apt. Craig came the day before & gave us all notice that he was coming the next day.& it would take awhile. The Men of this crew all worked very well as a team. Nathan let me know they would be returning in a week to do the other work. The Men had a Very Positive demeanor. I would 100%. Recommend this company.

I've had two scheduled appointments to have my furnace tuned up. The first time no one showed up or called. When I inquired, I was told the technician decided he couldn't do the tune up. The second time, again no one showed up or called. Enquiring the following day was told the technician was there and no one answered. As I was home all day, I don't believe this.
I asked why no one called when they were here and was told they don't do that. After reading the other reviewers I see that getting them to follow through with the agreed upon appointment is common place. Do yourself a favor and steer clear.

Unfortunately I felt bait and switched. I got multiple quotes for water heater replace and outdoor spigot replace. All were around $1200. I went with PA on a referral. Plumber was on time and courteous. Shame on me for not verbalizing the $1200 estimate with him at the start. There was miscommunication on the drain pan plumbing, and the spigot replace took almost 3 hours which I still don't understand. So his bill was $1800. I agreed to the original $1200, and they later charged my credit card for $1500. For this reason I won't use them again and can't recommend them.

Our furnace went out overnight and when we first called Parker-arntz we were impressed by their timely arrival and diagnosis. It seemed a little fishy when they required us to pay for the part needed up front before they would order it, but without heat in the dead of winter we were desperate and went along with it given that technician assured us that they would be back first thing the next morning by 9:30am to fix it.
Now we were financially roped in and obligated to stick with them instead of calling another company when they failed to show up and failed to notify us as to when or if they would. After we called them 3 times a technician finally showed up after 6pm when my wife had taken the day off of work to be home to let them in at 9:30am as promised. When we asked for a break on the bill given their terrible service they offered a discount of half an hour, only after over charging us by a half hour claiming that "policy is billing port to port" meaning that it was my responsibility to pay for their technician's logged travel time. Parker-Arntz is taking advantage of people in need of their services and over billing in order to offer "discounts" without actually taking a loss for their faults.

My furnace went out during one of the coldest days this winter. I have used Parker Arntz for a few years now so I trusted them. Well my mistake! They came out looked at my furnace and told me it needed a new control board and would have to order it because he didn't have one in his van. I had them order it and it was installed the very next day. The only thing was that didn't fix the problem.
They came back and said I needed a new furnace but would refund me for the control board. They gave me a quote of about $3200. I looked on line and found a place that quoted me $1800 for the same type of furnace. I had that company install my furnace and when I called Parker Arntz about coming and getting their part they said they couldn't give me the refund anymore. That was $235 plus $269 in labor that I paid them basically to not fix the problem. So I will no longer be using them again! So much for customer loyalty!
