We had a power outage for over 13 hrs which caused our on off switch to our electric water heater to burn out. I called Alliant Electric the woman on the phone told me to call an electrician! She said if it's Alliants fault they will reimburse me. Havent heard back from Alliant yet. I called Peck and Weiss Chad came out he was very professional it was a Saturday. Alliant electric guy worked from outside Chad inside.

The outside box would not turn off when switch was off. I get a bill for over $800 that said 4 and a half hrs labor for closing a burned out on off box and relocating wire to fuse box right next to on off switch! Chad left for awhile to go get a part! I was charged for the time he was gone! Ridiculous this is now 1/2019 No contact from Peck and Weiss. I will never use them againAlliant Electric did reimburse us but Peck and Weiss prices Outrageous!

I am writing this review to make sure I recognize the great work Peck and Weis has done for me with HVAC and Electrical services. Peck and Weis has assisted us with new construction commercial and with service at our residence. I have found them to be very responsive even during this unprecedented time of home sales expansion and building. More importantly to me, they have acted with integrity and squared away issues that weren't my responsibility.

Their fees for other services have been reasonable and I like that the Customer Service staff clearly gives you the option of immediate service which may require over time rates or they work to get you on the schedule as soon as possible. Thanks to everyone at Peck and Weis for working as a team to provide great service to this community.

We used Peck and Weiss this year for two very challenging and complex jobs at our home--one involving the A/C, and one involving the hot water heating systems. Both times, the Servicemen went entirely "above and beyond" to solve the problem -- and didn't present us with a massive bill at the end for any additional time it took, or for some of the smaller, add-on things they did as part of the project. Highly recommmended!

We had Master Services tell us that we would need an entirely new Air Conditioning which was quoted at nearly $5,000 dollars. We called Peck & Weis for a second opinion. They assured us there was nothing wrong with the system and just needed a recharge. Thank you Peck & Weis for saving our family thousands and for your professionalism and knowledge of everything! When the time comes and we do need a new A/C system, we will definitely be calling you!

New Items Bryant Evolution 986TC42080, Ecobee3 Lite, Aprilaire 4 Media Air Cleaner, Bryant UV Air Purifier, Fresh Air Ventilation Damper, and AO GCR 40 Water heater. Installers were prompt, curious of my requests, about 6 hours to install all equipment, and very great to work with! They respected the house like it was their own. Meaning that they did extra work to make the house more efficient, without asking! Products are easy to work with, ecobee3 lite is easy to understand and setup.

Use of the app is nice. Water Heater is very hot, that I did need to turn down the heat to below the A settings. Original Setting was at B. The original location of the Water Heater was in an inconvenient location to add a New Bathroom with Tub. Peck & Weis installed the new Water Heater in a better location that I can now build a Bathroom next to this system. Furnace is very quiet!

I work over top of the unit and cannot hear it anymore. The system has much more air flow then old system. I can also set the fan to ON (blowing all the time) when at the setting of HOME and SLEEPING, but have the fan on Auto when set to AWAY. Very get features! I added a Electric Fresh Air Ventilation Damper. This was a great value add! I can get fresh air into the home and the furnace controls when fresh air is needed! I do not need to turn the metal flap anymore! This should be added to all installs. I recommend both the products and PECK & WEIS.

Peck & Weis replaced our kitchen faucet and 2 older toilets with newer low flow replacements. The service person (Brett McIntosh) was professional, courteous, and thorough in performing the service for us. I will recommend Peck & Weis to all of our friends that may need installation and/or repair of their heating, plumbing, cooling, or electrical needs.

What can I say about Peck and Weis except that the people running it know what they are doing! I was working with Fayth at the front desk for our calls and Ryan for our project. This was not a small job. We needed plumbing for our dishwasher, gas plumbing for our new stove, gas plumbing for our new dryer, plumbing for our refrigerator, electrical work for our refrigerator and more.

Their plumber was awesome. He stayed all day to make sure everything was installed properly and all appliances were functioning the way they are supposed to. Really I don't know what more I can say but the plumber was so professional, really personable and truly cared about our family. I was so impressed. Thank you Ryan and everybody for working with us and for being patient and working with our lender for payment.

It was such a wonderful experience and we are so so so happy with our new furnace, water heater, air conditioner and touchscreen thermostat. They are top of the line, the energy costs are great and everything works great! I will highly recommend to anyone else needing any electrical work, plumbing or heating and cooling! I believe the plumber we worked with was Keith.bigger guy. Thanks everybody!

5 Stars is not enough to describe the service from Peck & Weis. On the hottest day of the summer a power surge at 5:30PM takes out my thermostat. From the time I called to the time it was repaired was just over 1 hour and I'm not in a major city. Their responsiveness, customer service, knowledge and even after hours prices are the best in the business. Crisis avoided thanks to Peck & Weis!

We have a cabin on Powers Lake and needed a new heater and air conditioner. We had previously had room units and decided to go with central air requiring attic and duct work throughout. Ryan and his installation team were easy to work with, provided good information prior to the work and were very professional. He worked with our schedule and made it work. The unit is working great and I would definitely use them again for future HVAC and heating needs.

Customer be alert. I am an out of state owner of a GN townhouse. Repairs were needed and completed. Then the frustration began. I received an invoice for $215.50, which was promptly paid by check. Two weeks later I receive another bill for $452.00 for two additional invoices. Nearly $700 for a small gas leak. After a phone call with a promise for a return call (never happened) and several emails later, it was discovered I was billed for repairs for a property in Fontana, which I never owned. It has been rectified (I hope). However, this is a warning to be very sure you are being billed for services rendered at your property not someone else's.

Dan arrived promptly when expected at my home. He did my clean and service and also made sure my furnace was running properly. I really appreciated that he wore shoe covers across my flooring, as the weather was horrible that day! My experience from my first phone call to their office until the job was completed was superb! I highly recommend Peck & Weis.

I moved into a new house in May, and based on the inspection, the master bath toilet was leaking and stained the drywall taping. I had Peck and Weis do reseat and seal all the toilets, clean drains, and install a faucet. Job done no problem. Then I had drywall company re-tape seam and had ceiling painted. Peck and Weis also fixed a hose spigot and serviced air conditioner.

No problem. However, six months later, master bath toilet leaked again and ruined drywall job. I called them and there was zero customer service and maximum attitude. I was informed any work done was only under warranty for one month, which seems ridiculous. I think if anyone knew their policy they would never consent to hiring them. They fixed it, and so far so good, but charged me 284$ to fix it (were kind enough to give 100$ off) but in my opinion are responsible for ruining the drywall and paint job; 200$ was what just the drywall work cost.

I would have been content if they just fixed the toilet at no charge - everyone makes mistakes - as was evident when the other plumber they sent out looked at the toilet. But not owning up to it and poor customer service when something went wrong will prevent me from ever calling them again.

The service this company provides is outstsanding I needed a new furnace last winter, and in one day they replaced it and the employees were professional, courteous, efficient, and thorough, did not leave a mess. This weekend our air conditioner failed, and again the service man assessed the problem very quickly, replace the failed part and was done in less that a half hour.

The cost was very reasonable and I was very happy with the level of service. If anyone asks me for a recommendation for a heating/cooling company I will certainly give Peck and Weis a first class recommendation!

Class Act! Heat went out on Sunday - I was their 2nd call. Tech showed up - slipped on his plastic booties over his boots! - nice touch! Diagnosed the problem to be a circuit board - WOW - still under warranty - but I still had to pay for labor and extra for Sunday rates! Turns out that they did not have my type of circuit board in stock. The only place that had it was an hour away and they made a special trip on Monday to get it! Diane called to let me know the part was in and I scheduled the time to install it.

I was not the happiest camper but Diane explained everything to me, calmed me down and was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. She told me what I needed to hear - not what I wanted to hear! I was so impressed I called Tom, her boss, to let him know she is what customer service was all about! I even had them service the furnace and a boiler I had.

The tech explained how everything worked and walked us through everything he did. So now we are warm and happy, happy, happy! You have our highest recommendations! Thanks Diane, Tom and service tech Dave

They came four years ago in winter and installed a new furnace and it was friendly fast service at a time when we really needed heat. However, here are my experiences in the past two years. We had a busted pipe in a downstairs bath in the spring. Based on the HVAC service we had in the past, I thought we'd give their plumbing a try. BIG MISTAKE.

The busted pipe in the bathroom could be seen in the basement. In order to access the break, the fridge needed to be moved in the kitchen. Seemed like a really easy fix since he'd have direct access to the pipe. The plumber they sent was not in mood to move the fridge to get to the pipe, hung out for a bit and then left. They charged me over $100 for a service call for someone who did nothing.

I just paid the bill without saying anything and had to hire another plumber to come out to do the repair. This summer we and called for AC cleaning and service. There was a problem with one unit that required additional work. When I called to pay the $1200 bill, I told the woman in the office the unit had not been cleaned as it was suppose to be.

It still had a couple of inches of maple tree seeds at the bottom, which certainly hadn't happened in a month. She told me it had been a month and that was too long to send someone back out, but she would check with the owner and call me back. That never happened. What also was bothersome was the young tech on personal calls just hanging out next to my AC units.

At $96 an hour for labor, make calls on your own dime. The last two experience are also marred by a piece we had fabricated by them last summer which took way longer than told and was only completed when I called and spoke to, who I can only assumed is the same witchy woman in my last encounter, the office. We have always paid our bills on time and have spent over $5,000 with them. I'm certain this must seem like a pittance to them, but certainly their are other companies out there to choose.
