It moves heat that already exists. In the winter, the system collects heat from the ground and carries it through the system and into the indoor air delivery system. In the summer, the system reverses itself to cool the building by pulling heat from the building and depositing it in the ground. For more details go to IGSHPA.
We design and install the ground loop to our normal stringent standards to insure optimum performance and to avoid future problems. The pipe has a 50-year limited manufacturers' warranty. Your heat pump comes with a free 5-year warranty on parts and labor according to the Spectrum manufacturers' schedule.
