My furnace wasn't working and I called valley this morning, they were able to fit me in today which was great because temps are freezing outside. The gentleman came and knew exactly what it was right away, fixed it quickly and I was just charged the minimum trip charge which is lower then all the places I called. Valley Furnace was a pleasure to work with. I was referred to them by the PSE website when I first started looking for a furnace install company. This was the first furnace I have ever had to get installed so I was careful and got about 6 different bids from companies all over the South King/Tacoma area. Valley Furnace was the best value for a quality American Standard furnace.

We also wanted a high efficiency gas furnace and Valley Furnace made it hassle free by doing all the paperwork/application for the rebate themselves so we didn't have to worry about it. I got many quotes and talked to so many places regarding our current heating system and relocating it/new furnace/AC installation, and we were told it would cost 20k plus as well as it would most lol be impossible to relocate our current furnace to another location. Anyways, when I contacted vallet furnace, not only did they tell us they could do it all but at an amazing price! They came and were very professional and did it all in 2 days. I received 6 other quotes mostly from the big guys. Just about all of them really only cared about selling extended warranties and service contracts. Valley Furnace was prompt, professional and honest. They know what they are doing and really presented best options and best equipment without over selling and over promising. Friendly staff, owner actually did the bid for us. Unfortunately they only gave us a bid for one unit and do not provide itemized bids with price breakdowns, even when requested. The bid we did receive was vague, and higher priced than the competing bids we received.

My experience with Valley was great from the consultation to the installation. My house is over 100 years old and we needed a new heating solution that would save us money and keep us comfortable. Very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my little questions. He showed me I should be running a larger nozzle for optimum efficiency. He also suggested some tips to help maintain my system. Valley Furnace is amazing! We were a victim of another company who over sold us a heat pump that killed our furnace and when it all broke they had already went out of business! This left us scrambling to find someone not only get to come fix the mess we were left in, but someone we could trust. Valley Furnace was extremely sympathetic to our situation and helped us figure out a way to make our situation work for as long as possible before ultimately having to replace the furnace.

They have always been honest, quick to respond and just all out amazing to work with. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. We are thankful for our new relationship with such a wonderful company. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.

My family has been using Valley Furnace for several years and we have been very satisfied with their service. Darryl has always been the one to come out, he is knowledgeable, friendly and honest. They will always have our business. The reason we started using them was after an issue with one of our rentals heat pump, after having Dicks heating come out and charge us $800 and it didn't fix the issue we called Puyallup heating and they gave us an estimate for over $1000 and said it would take all day to fix so we called Valley Furnace for an estimate and Darryl knew exactly what the problem was, fixed it within a few minutes and we never had an issue at that rental again. It's not easy to earn mine and my husbands trust but Valley Furnace has.

After having to work from home due to the Coronavirus, our furnace went out and who wants to work in a cold house. We called a few places, but the first place(fairly well known) came in at DOUBLE what Valley quoted us. They came in the next day and we had a new furnace in less than 24 hours from when we first called. I highly recommend them.

13 months later and my system is still working great. User error means it is difficult for me to get it set the way I would prefer but that's not the system. It is quiet and efficient, savings range from $1 to $70 a month compared to our previous system. I am very happy with Valley Furnace and would recommend them to anyone.

So I called out and had 5 bids done for an upcoming furnace replacement. I selected Valley based on price, equipment offered, responsiveness & experience using them before. The were not the lowest bid but did offer the best value for what was offered. One local company was only a little cheaper but their equipment was not a brand I've necessarily heard good things about in the past so didn't want to chance it.

I had Valley install my heat pump 10 years ago and was very happy then and am happy now. Our current furnace had been out for 3 days and not only were they trying to get the new one installed a couple of days after us accepting their bid but they called the next day to say they could do it that day! Within 3 hours it was done and we had heat again.

They will be my first choice as long as I'm in this area. As for a couple of the other big name companies that you always hear about in the media I can see why as their over inflated bids (by as much as 80%) are used to pay for advertising but they don't listed to what you say are your needs and try to up sell you. The last one still hasn't even gotten around to emailing me my bid and its been 2 days! I'd suggest staying clear of any company that has Washington in its name and give Valley Furnace a try as they are quick, know their products and only give you what you need or want, thanks again guys.

Over the past 25 years I have had a furnace and heat pump installed by Valley Furnace. Both installs were seamless. We are on the yearly service maintenance contract (highly recommend) and needed only two no heat calls over the years-both thermostat related. Anything needing attention is caught at the maintenance calls and have always been given a heads up if it looks like something is wearing out, with the option to replace or wait and see.

This company is professional and makes sure their clients are taken care of. My neighbors have used other HVAC companies over the years with dissatisfaction and now switched over to Valley Furnace as well. I typically do not do online reviews but my thermostat was acting up this week and they had a service tech in the area so worked me in one hour after I placed the call. That's customer service!

I was provided with prompt and good customer service. The repairman was highly experienced and taught me a great deal of "need-to-know" things about my radiant heating and oil burner. Valley Furnace has my business.

This company is really bad. I got a house that have a heat pump installed by them, and it stopped working recently, so I ask them come fix it June this year, they came out, but the heat pump still not working. Paid them $300, then i called them again, they said there is nothing wrong with the heat pump, and just need a new thermostat, which they quote me $500 for replacing a heat pump, A heat pump is only cost $200.

So I called another finance company came take a look, they discover there is nothing wrong with the thermostat, the heat pump has issue. Very bad company, keep charging you money but doesn't do anything.

As charming as a warm, fresh pile of cattle manure in the hot afternoon sun. We had a bid for a new HVAC system in our home done by this company. They did no home measurements or inspection of my current duct system, yet still offered a bid. The install was bad, with angry installers tapping their toes demanding payment before testing the system. Turns out it only provided heat to one floor of the house. Owner told us that wasn't their fault, they installed the furnace correctly. Really?

Valley Furnace has provided us with every aspect of our heating cooling and hot water since 1981 when we bought our house in University Place. They are prompt, clean, courteous and do a great job. They call us to check in with us from time to time - and that's what I need. A family run business - and we love that!

Contracted with Valley Furnace to install a new furnace in my home as part of a remodel. Valley was recommended by my prime contractor. Prime and Valley consulted and spec'ed an American Standard system for my home. Valley installed. Valley never did any kind of analysis of the home prior to the install. They only asked for square footage. No test of flow or balance during or after installation.

Post install - The system starts and ends the heating cycle with a loud bang. There is an eleven (11) degree heat difference between rooms. When I called Valley for assistance, the Vice President (Andy Anderson) laughed at me. Really, I'm not kidding. Then he stated since he didn't install the ducts, it wasn't his problem. I cannot recommend American Standard systems or Valley Furnace of Puyallup.
