In 1939, Alexander S. Miller founded Miller Oil Company to serve the heating and cooling needs of the greater Enfield community. His son, James R. Miller Sr and grandson James R. Miller Jr. followed him into the family business. Today grandson Charles H. Miller, along with great-grandson Douglas J. Miller, continue to operate the company with the same dedication to providing quality service.

It was a bit disconcerting that the truck Tony was driving was fully decked out with another oil company's name and phone number. I feel Tony did a great job, however, I do feel that he took his sweet time, almost 2 hours. Arrived on time, did the job no conversation, so I can't tell you if there were any issues.

So I got a refill/restart 2 week ago, after that my broiler start shutting off, so I called just to see if someone could stop by and look at it, being that we are first time home owners, immediately the reception got nasty and defensive, I was like lady I just needed some help, she said ok and hang up. I have had three refill with them and was very happy but as soon as a problem occur this is how they treat their customers. It's sad because I have a two years old at home. Very disappointed.

I searched extensively for a company to replace my 35 year old oil/wood furnace and I wanted to add central air at the same time. I contacted 12 companies and only 6 even gave me a quote. The quotes ranged from $12000 to $24000. I finally contacted Miller Oil and was promptly called back by Russ who came by to give me a quote. He actually mailed me a straight forward quote with a price a third less than the best quote I had received.
In addition, the furnace was a Thermopride which is known to be the best furnace. The crew showed up promptly and completed the job the following morning. They were extremely professional and their work is great. I strongly recommend Miller Oil. You won't be disappointed! My new furnace and AC was installed 10 months ago and have worked beautifully. Call Miller if you want a good price, professional work with quality materials.

We just had our 31 year old boiler replaced by Miller Oil. Doug came out and gave a very reasonable estimate. Very obvious that he knew what he was doing. Didn't try to sell any unnecessary equipment. Scheduling was fast. The three man crew that installed was very professional and knowledgeable. We will definitely be using Miller Oil for our maintenance and oil needs.

I resently moved to Enfield CT and was looking around for a new Oil Company for delivery and oil service. I found that Miller Oil has the best oil prices around. The office staff was very polite and on point with all my questions. I had placed an order for delivery and it was delivered the very next day. I also needed a tune up on my oil fired boiler and gas Hot water heater.
The staff was quickly able make an appointment for the service. The service technician was clean and left my boiler in great shape. I would recommend Miller Oil to anybody who is moving into town or who currently lives here.

Great job done by Doug Miller and his crew from Miller Oil! Would highly recommend them. Fast, efficient, timely and thorough! They removed our ancient boiler system and installed our Viessman boiler and indirect tank in just under 4 hours! Very reasonable cost for the high quality of our new system. Thanks again!

I have heated my whole house with 2 KEROSENE Heaters for rhe past 3 years and I am SO MAD RIGHT NOW BECAUSE OF THE CONSTANT SMELL FROM THE POOR QUALITY OF KEROSENE! I HAVE TAKEN MY 2 HEATERS APART AND CLEANED THEM BOTH AND EVEN REPLACED, AT MY COST THE 2 WICKS, THINKING THAT THE SMELL WAS MY HEATERS, WTH? LITTLE DID I KNOW?, UNTIL I READ ON LINE THAT "POOR QUALITY KEROSENE", WILL CAUSE THE HORRIBLE SMELL IN MY HOUSE! IT REALLY SUCKS THAT AT -20 OUTSIDE SOMEDAYS, THAT I HAVE TO LOOSE MOST OF MY HEAT OUT 2 OPEN WINDOW ON THE TOP FLOORS OF MY HOUSE AT ALL TIMES TO KEEP "SOME OF THE SMELL, NOT ALL OF IT DOWN"! BUT IT STILL STINKS IN MY HOUSE AND CAUSES BOTH OF US THAT LIVE HERE TO HAVE NON STOP HEADACHES FROM THE STINK!

I KNOW ABOUT THE STUPID DYES), BUT THIS KERO SMELLS AND STINKS MORE LIKE DESIEL FUEL THAN KEROSENE! WE NEVER KNOW WHAT WE'RE GONNA GET FROM HERE?!), AND MY HEATERS THIS YEAR BECAUSE OF THE POOR QUALITY KEROSENE FROM THIS PLACE" ARE COSTING ME MORE TO RUN THAN THE PAST 3 YEARS!
