On a yearly basis, it is recommended that you have your furnace inspected and cleaned. Most people are unaware that performance and efficiency can degrade over time. Below is a basic list of service prices. If you require something outside of these services, please call the office for information and a customized quote.
Our owner is involved in EVERY step of your installation, from the estimate to the job. Every installation gets custom duct work. We do not use sub-contractors. I can't speak more highly of East Hill. Doug has helped us over the last few years limp along with our old heater. It finally died over winter and he replaced it quickly with high quality, professional service at a very reasonable price. I won't go anywhere else but here. With our 25 year-old furnace screeching at us, we got quotes from several places. We are very happy we chose East Hill Heating & Cooling because. INVENTORY- They have several highly rated (Consumer Reports) units in stock, as well as high quality control panels. KNOWLEDGE- They have SO many years of experience repairing furnaces, they can speak to longevity and repair records.
For example they told us which brands share the same parts, which can help with availability in the future. CUSTOMER SERVICE- Doug and his wife Christy talked us through several options and were as friendly as they are knowledgeable. Doug was always on time and Christy very responsive on the logistics end. Although they are very busy, from first contact to installation was only about two weeks! (Phew!)

Doug offered common sense solutions for a couple of issues we had with our heating system and we chose them to install a new heat pump when the old one broke down. Supply chain issues delayed the delivery of the heat pump, but they made sure we had heating by installing the heat exchanger right away. Once the heat pump was delivered it was expertly installed.
When a leak on the system caused the pump to shut down a couple of days later, they came right out-- on a Sunday to diagnose the problem. They came back again the next day to fix it, and the day after to make are everything was working right. I'd give six stars if I could.

I had many negative thoughts toward anybody who was to come and install a new furnace. Finally turned to my neighbor who had a new furnace installed by East Hill, and he's the person I trust. Now I also trust East Hill. They did a fine job and I believe gave me a fine pieces of equipment. So quiet I forget it's on. And I can't forget the air conditioner although I didn't get it in time to use it this year. I'm sure they do servicing and maintenance, and I believe they would only do what, if anything, was necessary. Unlike two previous maintenance companies.

Doug and Christy own this local business and I would like to recommend them if you have heating issues. I recently hired them to replace my old electric furnace. My experience was excellent from the initial contact to the finished installation. Customer service was great, Doug was on time, experienced, and knowledgeable. I should have posted this a few months back. Today it's cold outside but warm in and it's thanks to this team. I have an old Trane model for years. I've been using it fine and then it stopped blowing hot air in Spring they diagnosed the issue when the controller broke. I ordered a new kit and got it installed late Summer. They installed it and worked out any issues. Their prices were the best and they were super professional all around. I highly recommend you call them before you start replacing things.

Wonderful company! First time turning on our gas furnace this Fall. No. Heat.! Apparently we weren't alone. East Hill was the only one who returned my call. They returned my call promptly and even squeezed us in, same day, despite being swamped. Unfortunately our choice was either a $700 repair on a 17 year old furnace or a whole new furnace.
It wasn't welcome news - but East Hill fit us in and installed a brand new furnace NEXT DAY. It isn't as if a new furnace is cheap but they quoted us a very fair price. Everyone I spoke to at this company was polite, helpful, and went out of their way to help us out. I appreciate it and I highly recommend them!

I cannot say enough good things about Doug and Christy from East Hill Heating and Cooling. Four years ago, Doug installed a new furnace in my parent's home and they were very happy with the service and the product. This summer, after a difficult medical diagnosis which left my parents house-bound, we reached out to Doug to explore the possibility of adding Air Conditioning to my parent's furnace in an effort to make the house and my dad more comfortable in the warm weather. Doug was prompt, kind, and efficient in his assessment of options for my parents.
Both he and Christy patiently answered our many different questions as we moved through the decision making process. We later learned that after the initial visit to discuss AC, Doug and Christy had proactively ordered the necessary parts so that when/if my parents decided to move ahead, they wouldn't have to wait. They went out of their way to support our family through a difficult situation and made my dad's comfort a priority during a busy time of year for their business.

I would highly recommend East Hill Heating and Cooling. Our rental home furnace stopped working today. The home is empty and we are in the middle of a total interior repaint. The painters needed heat so the paint would dry. I figured we wouldn't be able to get any help with it until at least Monday. I called East Hill heating and cooling. Christie was so pleasant to talk to.
She was able to set me up with an appointment within 2 hours. Doug came out and took care of the problem for us. We needed a new thermostat. He also put in new filters and a new section of vent pipe. Very reasonable prices, great service and friendly, professional people. I couldn't be more satisfied. Give them a call if you have a heating problem. Woman on the phone, I believe her name was Christy (forgive me if its not), was very pleasant to speak to. I was shocked they could get to me the same day I called! In fact, they were able to come a couple hours ahead of what they originally scheduled me and I was able to make it to work on time! The Gentleman who came and repaired my furnace was prompt, knowledgeable and efficient. Ive only lived in my house a few years and he recognized my furnace as the one he originally put in back in 2001, how cool is that! Anyway, I have no idea what the negative reviews are about on here, they clearly were not reviewing the same place that came to work on my furnace.
I highly recommend, there was no upsale, just to the point and fixed what was wrong. I was very satisfied with the cost, and will be going to them when I need to replace the furnace in the future!

I can't say enough good things about our experience with East Hill Heating & Cooling. After returning home from a week long vacation our furnace had stopped working. We spent a very chilly night and were eager to get our situation addressed, but it was Sunday. Most businesses are closed Sunday and we figured it would be unlikely but started making calls to several area businesses and independent technicians.
After leaving a message at East Hill Heating a & Cooling I received a return phone call within 10 minutes from Christy who asked me a few questions (location and type of furnace). She was extremely kind and pleasant. She said she would call Doug and get back to me within 10 minutes. Not 5 minutes later Doug called me and asked for my specific address and promised to arrive within an hour.
He delivered on his promise and arrived and immediately got to work, he confirmed our suspicion that the starter needed to be replaced, and had it replaced and our furnace working within 30 minutes of his arrival. He was fast, professional and ensured everything was working well before departing. Our invoice was less than we expected to pay and we will definitely use this company again. East Hill Heating and Cooling, Christy and especially our hero Doug, really saved the day for our family. Thank you!

I needed service to get my gas furnace going again after the thermostat was replaced. When I called I was told that the Technician was out doing a furnace install and that he would call me in the morning. I was pleasantly surprised when he did call me at 8:30 the next morning. He said that he could be at my house between 1:30 & 2:00 pm. He said that he would call me when he was on the way so that I could go home to meet him. Doug showed up right on time and went right to work diagnosing the problem.
He mad some adjustments to the furnace and discovered a blown fuse. He changed the fuse, tweaked the furnace a bit to make it run more efficiently and was on his way in about 40 minutes. I very much appreciated the professionalism of Doug and all the folks at East Hill Heating & Cooling. I will definitely keep their number handy should I need to refer them to a friend.

Literally one of the best service experiences of my life. I had not turned on my furnace in years because I was told by another service company that it would cost me nearly $2000 to have my 8-year-old furnace fixed and I would need to sign up for a service contract. I was told by a co-worker that I needed to call East Hill H&C. He told me that they were the best. AND HE WAS RIGHT.
They were fast, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. He had my furnace running in no time flat and for 1/8th what the company had quoted me. I was in the exact same situation you are in right now. Trust me, your search has ended. Give Doug a call today. You will not regret it.

I bet you the gentleman I read about in the reviews is wonderful. Lots of places have great technicians, honestly. East Hill H&C is just the first place we called when we couldn't take being cold anymore and we never got past the receptionist. My understanding is that they are busy this time of year and were going to try and sandwich us in somewhere. However, when they called to come- no one could answer because we all work.
We did call back because we want to be warm, of course. but by then, the receptionist was angry and it was all downhill from there. I can tell you this, we never "demand" service (we aren't so entitled) and it most likely was a huge misunderstanding. However, it was the oddest and angriest encounter that never needed to happen. I will never call this place again, another place did the job, quickly and without the drama.
I could never recommend this place after all the vitriol and unprofessionalism. So strange. Also so unfortunate because I like to support local businesses. ***edited, response to owner Christy*** By no means do we conspire to ruin anyone's business. I was sincerely shocked by the interactions with you and my review is an honest one and that is the purpose of Yelp.
Before you decide to slander me or stifle my free speech, remember that we are just one or two reviews and we have every right to tell about our experience. If you are the business you say you are, you should not see any effect from this and I am shocked and sorry about how terrible our experience has been and how much worse it keeps getting. If you do not thrive on drama as you stated, your actions are proving otherwise. My experience was not so positive. Called East Hill when my furnace was red tagged by PSE. Christie told me they were extremely busy and made it sound like they were doing me this great favor squeezing me the next day. The plan was for her to call me the next day to let me know when the technician would be available to come by my place. She called me the next day and left VM that technican could come by my place.
I called her back 2 hours later and she was angry i didnt called her back earlier. Then told me they would not take my job on if the issue was the heat exchanger because they would make no money if it was warranty work. I have a Bryant furnace and they are a Bryant dealer. I chose at that point to take my business else where. I called Complete AC and Heating and got my furnace up the same day with no BS. Customer wins!

Excellent service! They were able to set up an appointment for the next day and gave a 3 hour estimated time window. I was expecting them to show up on the later end because that's how service calls tend to go, but they called about halfway through the window and arrived promptly after they called. Service was great! He cleaned my furnace out and provided some tips to keep it in good condition. The icing on the cake was the price - cheaper than other places I've dealt with in the past.
