Excellent customer service. They put me through to an emergency plumber out of normal office hours and I had someone at my house (which is up in the East Mountains) within 2 hrs. Tony was the utmost professional. He talked me through the issue and we discussed ways in which to fix it. Tony didn't only offer a quick fix to stop the leak but also offered to fix the rest of the piping in that area so it was up to code. I would highly recommend Tony. Professional, high quality worker and very nice and approachable individual who made me feel at ease.

B. Carlson staff were all professional and very knowledgeable on our 2 evaporative cooling units replacement. Mario in sales recommended for the downstairs unit using BreezAir downdraft which has 10 speed control with automatic water quality control. This unit is awesome in performance. Alex and Manuel did the installation work for both units. The quality of work was excellent, they both were professional and explained all the details of the BreezAir unit operations. Ashlynn worked her butt off today to help get us an earlier time to switch our swamp cooler over and Tony arrived to easily and painlessly switch it over for us. These guys are great. This is the third time I've used them and they seem to get better and better. Ben was my service person and he was on time, communicated perfectly before and during the visit and got my complicated Breezair swamp cooler up and running quickly. He is very knowledgeable and quickly explained and fixed my sewer cleanouts issue. Friendly and caring too! Quality of service from first phone call to returning to replace the caps on the cleanouts at my home within 1 business day. From Kris at the office, to Mario, Raphael, Manuel and Alex the field supervisor, the entire crew was professional and did good work removing swamp cooler and installing HVAC system. Kris deserves a commission for selling me on the idea. Mario went the extra mile (literally) to please me. The job ran a half day overtime but that was due to weather and no big deal. Mario has assured me he will check in when the weather heats up to make sure the system is working perfectly. I am confident it will. Thanks for a job well done.

Our outdoor faucet had a leak so I called B. Carlson but they couldn't get me in for several days. The receptionist put me on a priority list, and I got a call the next day. I was very happy when Tony and Ash showed up at our home to fix the leak and replace the faucet. They were very professional, and they kept me informed every step of the way. They were two of the nicest guys and very helpful to me. I was thrilled with the results. I would recommend B. Carlson for any of your plumbing needs.

I noticed my water bill quadrupled in one month and also my neighbor noticed icing near his property so we figured it must be a pipe leaking. I called and they were able to get someone out in a couple days to diagnose the problem and recommended a copy to pinpoint the leak to avoid unnecessary damage to my property. Within a week, Tony repaired the leak and so far life is back to normal.
I am updating my review after a couple days and lowering the score because I am noticing some concerns regarding the work that may not be resolved for a couple months. After resuming normal water use I'm starting to hear knocking in my pipes again, so I'm not sure if the issue is resolved. I will have to see my next couple water bills to see if it goes back down to normal.
I am calling to ensure that this work is guaranteed. I would recommend anyone to price compare before making a decision. Prior to work being done, I was not aware of the cost of service and experienced sticker shock. After talking with my neighbor who is a plumber I have learned an expensive lesson. The padding of my bill, which included over $1000 charge for a "two man job" was totally ridiculous. This is a word of warning.

Christian is the Tech that came to fix 2 combo units that stopped heating. He was courteous on time and explained clearly my options. One of the units was extremely old; with no wiring diagram available online, yet he persisted and successfully wired it and got it to go! Didn't try to push anything on me, did what I asked and was just great and pleasant to deal with. I would recommend him to all my contacts. Great job!

Our heater stopped working and we called B Carlson to see if someone could come take a look it it. They were able to send someone the next day. Dave came and figured out it was the ignitor. He put in a new one and went through all the steps to make sure it was working properly. He was very thorough and ensured it was fixed before leaving. He was prompt and courteous. We will definitely use B Carlson in the future.

I had a main drain line issue. They came out twice to snake it out. Charged me $185 each time, which seemed a lot. I just had another plumber come out. Charged me $80. Used a larger snake for main drain lines, ran it all the way to the street. Told me I had been ripped off. Clearly. Carlson's NEVER told me there were larger diameter snakes designed for main drain lines, or that it needed to go all the way to the street. Carlson's told me I had broken pipe under my driveway that needed to be replaced. No, I don't. VERY upset they didn't bother to tell me they didn't use the right equipment. All they said was "It's not guaranteed." No wonder they said that. Will never use them again.

Our air conditioner was not working and we hired B. Carlson to come out and check it. Jordan, the technician, was amazing. He thoroughly went through the unit and found several issues and was able to fix them all. I highly recommend them; and ask for Jordan. I was so pleased that I decided to sign up for the yearly contract.

Simply the best! I recently bought a home and discovered the home inspectors had passed my evap cooler, which obviously was not working. Which got me worrying about the furnace and the hot water heater they had also OK'd I had used Carlson for years when I lived in ABQ years ago so I immediately called them again. Sean was extremely nice, very competent and totally helpful.
He confirmed the cooler was trashed and even provided photos and a detailed description of the problems, along with a quote to replace. He also reassured me the furnace and hot water heater were OK. Now I knew what I had to deal with - and was no longer worried about what else might have been missed. Also have to mention that Cindy in customer service is super helpful and great with follow up. I can't imagine using any other company for my heating, AC or plumbing.

My recent experience with B Carlson Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing, Inc. was a very negative one I scheduled a Tuesday appointment with them to repair a leaky kitchen faucet Their staff called me at 2:45 to let me know the technician was just leaving the Bosque and would be at my home on the Westside by 3:30pm I left work early and drove home to find a note on my front door telling me they had been by 45 minutes earlier and had to leave I called the office and was told by a female employee that she had "pulled their technician off the job" Really?
I even called their supposed "24/7" number to try and get a plumber out that evening but Carlson never returned my call I found B Carlson to be very unreliable and highly unprofessional i would not recommend this company to Albuquerque home owners

Very friendly and professional. They do a great job and take pride in their work. Very quick to help and excellent customer service. Have used them for years and have never had a problem with their work or staff. Recently had my counters resurfaced and Marcos was very efficient in moving my stuff and removing my sink. He then installed my new sink, faucet and disposal and moved my appliances back. I have also had a furnace, hot water heater, humidifier, and toilets replaced by this business. Highly recommend.

I think these guys are total scam artists. We have had an annual contract for several (2-3)years. That means they come out every winter and spring to do the changeover of our heater and evaporative cooler. EVERY SINGLE TIME they have come out, without even one exception, they somehow found a problem that cost between $150 and $600. I repeat, not a single exception.
So today the price was supposed to be $169 for a new belt. Why they didn't find the belt during the winter shutdown is unknown. The tech said he was going to charge me for that plus the annual contract. I told him I wanted to talk to my wife before agreeing to pay the annual contract. He says that today is the first day of the new cycle! So if I don't pay the annual contract, he has to charge me more. I told him THEN I DEFINITELY DON'T WANT TO RENEW THE CONTRACT. It cost me $329. Yes, I paid an additional $160 to be rid of these people.
