We had an electrical GFI outlet in the bathroom that overheated and melted the neutral wire onto the outlet which could have led to an electrical fire. We turned off the breaker and immediately called Generation III. Jerry, the owner came over within the hour surveyed the situation and replaced the outlet. Meticulous and clean worker. Checked all the wiring and even went into the breaker panel box the check all the wiring connections. Extremely professional. Great local family business. I strongly recommend them!

Generation III is among the most knowledgeable, professional and responsive plumbing and electric companies out there. We have used them for years and while they can get busy (e.g. busy because they're really good at what they do) they make their very best efforts to show up as soon as possible, especially in emergencies. A neighbor recommended Generation III and I used them to replace my hot my water heater last year. The customer service was excellent during the entire process--speedy replies, on-time service, etc.--but once we paid them (they're pricey) that quickly ended. Since then I've called them multiple times for other plumbing issues and they never call back.
Now I'm having an issue with the hot water heater they supplied and installed, and guess what? They won't return return my calls. Please don't use these folks.

I highly recommend Generation III. I called them because our furnace wasn't turning on and the house was getting cold. Jerry called me back within a couple hours and was at our house the same day to fix the problem. He took the time to explain what was wrong and answered our questions. Thanks again Jerry and Generation III for being so responsive. We will be using Gen III for all our needs and couldn't be more pleased with our experience.

Generation III did such a great job replacing our air conditioner and re-doing our heating system. Very professional and go above and beyond to make sure everything is done to the highest standard. Our job ended up being more work than initially expected but they didn't nickle and dime us. We will keep using Generation III for all our maintenance!

Jerry and his team are First Rate! They replaced my AC with one days notice, in the middle of a heat wave. They installed a 3ton Trane unit for the 1st floor of my house, all of the work was completed quickly, completely in a nice neat fashion without disturbing the rest of the house. No dust, dirt or footprints were left behind. In fact the only way we knew they had been there was that we were nice and cool! PS - This is not the 1st time we have used GEN III, but the results are always the same.perfection

Nope, nope, nope. Two guys showed up to install my dishwasher. One stood there the entire hour and did NOTHING. After they left, I went to put dishes in the dishwasher and the entire thing came out of the cabinet! They didn't even screw it in! My husband had to redo the whole thing after he got home. Then, instead of swiping my card to pay, they WRITE DOWN YOUR CC # on their invoice!
The next day, there were 3 fraudulent charges on my CC card that AMEX alerted me to. Had to replace my CC. They charged me $275 for one hour of shoddy work that we had to re-do and none of it was actual plumbing work. only installing the dishwasher. No thanks.

Amazing! We lost heat today and Jerry's team were at our house super quick. They were truly amazing guys! Spent time to figure out the problem, quickly retrieved a needed part and heat was up and running fast! Took time to educate us on our system. Very fairly priced! Highly recommend! And they do electrical!

Prompt and professional service, with reasonable prices. They won't try to upcharge you with services you don't need. They do plumbing, electric and heating and air, so it's really nice that if they discover another issue they can fix it themselves instead of telling you "we don't do that" call someone else.

I hired generatin III to install a new furnace and air handler a number of months ago. From the get-go, the owner Jerry and all his service personnel appear to be extremely knowledgeable. We have hired other heating and air-conditioning companies previously who were never able to figure out how to make our systems work properly.

I've had an intermittent with my heating system for over a year. I was referred to Generation lll by a close friend. I called and spoke with Chris. She called back within 30 minutes and her people were here within the hour. One hour later, problem solved! I have never experienced such service as this. A new customer and I'll never call anyone else!

I was referred to Generation lll by a close friend. I had been experiencing intermittent heating problems with a gas fired boiler and was getting extremely frustrated.worked one day, not the next. I spoke with Chris (who could not have been nicer or more pleasant) and she said she would try to get get back to me within the hour. She did and 30 minutes after that, their truck was in my driveway. An hour after that, problem solved! Service and professionalism was way beyond what I've ever had in the past. I was a new customer today.not anymore. I'll never call anyone else! Thank you so much!

Great experience. Had a clogged drain on a Saturday morning. Tried to fix it myself with no luck. Called up GenIII at 8:00am, by 9:00am Kenny was here and fixed it. Very courteous, efficient, and cleaned up after working on it. A bit steep on price $200, but it was worth it. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Thank you Generation 3! When my air conditioner broke on the hottest day of this year, you guys came through and fixed it that afternoon! I love these guys! Jerry and Julie Pignatelli, Generation 3 owners, are always there when you need them and do everything they can to help you during a difficult situation. Generation 3's crews are reliable and trustworthy, and over the years, they have fixed a leak in my kitchen sink, replaced my furnace and one of my air conditioning units, as well as put in 2 sump pumps! They do it all and their quality workmanship, experience and expertise make them worth EVERY PENNY!

Jerry was supposed to unclog the drain in my tub. He had the nerve to charge $280 for a very simple job of running a "snake", trying to unclog it. This is an INSANE amount for such job. He left with my money and knowing that the drain was still not unclogged. When I called him back to get him to come finish the job right, he wanted to charge me another $150 to do right what he did wrong in the first place. I found someone else over the internet who did the job right the first time for $75 in a matter of minutes. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE of Generation III they are a total ripoff!

The plumber came to our home and wasn't sure how to fix our septic "clog". He called Jerry who had been to hundreds of homes like mine in Waldwick. Been an extremely satisfied customer of Generation III for over 10 years. Jerry and his crew have handled everything from minor leaks, routine maintenance on my heating and AC units, upgrades to a tankless water heater and a reverse-osmosis water purification system all the way up to a recently completed bathroom overhaul and the work is always perfect.
