MES has been my HVAC service provider for several years now. I have always received courteous phone assistance and prompt service calls. Additionally, I always get a call 10 minutes before their arrival so I can secure my dogs. When adding a new room to my home, I did not hesitate to call MES to install a mini-split system. Now my daughter can run the air as low as she likes and I remain comfortable in my room. System arrived and was installed as scheduled without any delay. Their financing with 0% interest really helps out when on a fixed income.

Aside from Rick who was the service person that took the time to come and properly figure out / diagnose the problem. I will never use this company again. I say that because I had used this company with my previous house years ago. It clearly was run differently. It was a stand-up company that stood by its word then. Literally the right hand does not know what the left hand was doing.
I tried to schedule installation a few times and was about to spend probably $3k worth of Labor. Everything else was under warranty. Ultimately I had to be the one to stay on top of things and call because nobody was calling me back to schedule the work that Rick had set up. So once I finally scheduled something then they called back saying that one of the crews was sick but they still couldn't come out and do my work.
Then today I don't hear from them at all to the point I have to call them back simply asking them to confirm that I was on the list since we had just rescheduled two days ago. Should have been a simple "yes you are on the list for today as scheduled". Instead, on hold for 10 minutes while they still try and figure it out. Again clearly not a priority even though we've been trying this for a few weeks now. Lost 2 days of work waiting too get promised service. Such poor Customer service.

Metro Express Services LLC was scheduled to do some maintenance work on myTrane AC unit earlier this month (April 2022). The tech, named Jonathan was very punctual. He was at my place about 10 minutes early. He told me exactly what service was to be performed and showed me the replacement parts which he had brought. After completing the job, Jonathan patiently answered all my questions.
He was very professional and respectful throughout the time. He demonstrated a very good knowledge of the job. I would certainly use the company again and hope they send Jonathan.

System was not cooling. Called and a tech was there within 2 hrs. Robert diagnosed the problem and corrected my error on my thermostat installation. Serviced the a/c system for the spring checkup. MES is the absolute best! We had an issue with our vents and they came out and educated me about our system and informed me that our air vents were not positioned properly. The faulty air vent then caused a smoke alarm to go off in my daughter's bedroom and they came out within 4 hours and helped me out. They are a trustworthy company that I'd recommend to anyone.

We bought a whole new AC unit from them brand new and in 6 months it's quit working TWICE! Now it's the middle of June and it's broke again. I called them they didn't answer I left a message they didn't call me back so I called again an hour later and they said they would send someone out ASAP it's now 8 pm I called at 430 and no one has shown up or called. Really Regret going through them buy yours through someone else. This place is awful.

We were looking for an a/c specialist to check out our upstairs cooling unit which seemed to have a broken fan. After reaching out on Angie's list, we were contacted by phone within the same day to schedule a technician to come to our house in a few days. Adam was succinct and professional. He found the problem and let us know that we would only need a special-order part, not an entire new motor as another hvac technician had tried to suggest.
Though he wasn't very communicative as we waited for delivery of that part, he did not leave us hanging. Adam came by as soon as the part was delivered and fixed our issues! He did have to come back shortly after to turn on some switch that he forgot but it was a minor issue and he was took care of it immediately. We asked for Adam again recently when we had some more summer cooling issues. Adam came the same day! He refilled our freon and cleared our pipes, and we could not be happier with the quality or speed of service!

Incompetence or questionable business practices? Metro Express Service was called to fix our A/C unit. The first technician repaired a drain line (I'm not even sure it was actually clogged) for which I was charged $165; however, this did not solve the problem. The second technician was scheduled between 11am-2pm on a Sunday afternoon. No call and he finally showed up at 4:30pm!
His assessment was that the control board and the motor module needed to be replaced at an estimated cost of. $2,500! This sounded extremely high and we asked for a second opinion. The actual issue was the thermal expansion valve that needed to be cleaned, for a total cost of $200! We tried to be reasonable and ask for a partial refund of the original charge - M.E.S. is not willing to budge, nor would they take ownership for improperly diagnosing the issue, or having us waste an entire afternoon waiting without receiving a call. Stay away from this company!

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. We purchased a brand new HVAC system plus a no good warranty. The system lasted 1 1/2 years. When we tried to have repairs done we got the run around from several family members who answered the phones. We were told to pay in excess of over $700 then reduced to over $$600 for Freon and parts. Of course we had no choice to pay in the heat of summer. I recently used this company and BOY did they reap me OFF. My air conditioner was not working. David came to assess the Air conditioner he went outside and told me their was apart that needed to be replace $312 worth. I paid with believing this would solve my problem. WRONG! My air never moved. He came back the following day and FINALLY went into the attic and said it was the motor.
He now tells me this is the reason for my airconditioner not working. NOW he stated that will my cost will be an additional $1,200 dollars. I am soooo upset. I can SCREAM! I will let EVERYONE in my neighborhood know. NEVER EVER use this company!

Their customer service department is the absolute worst. the two ladies that answer the phone are rude and can not even answer the simple questions. You have to argue to speak to a manager. I would highly recommend any other ac company to get better service and lower service costs. Our scheduled service time was between 9 and 11 after many phone calls he showed up over an hour late. I wish we would have read the reviews prior to using this company. Use someone else!

Very Satisfied customer! Called to have them come out and service our A/C and check it out. Technician Chris was great! very pleasant and let us ask all the questions he could handle! Then we decided it was time to replace our system. Our salesman Kevin for very nice, knowledgeable and again someone very patient with a couple with a lot of questions! Our new system was in stall when promised with no issues! Very happy with our new system and with MES for their great service!

Mimicking another review, we have this company come out to check an HVAC system and basically said it has 1-2 years max. left on our HVAC system. He said we could pay $2,400 to fix a Freon leak, or better yet tried very hard to sell a new system for $12,400.00. Another HVAC system company came out and said there was dabree in the outside unit, cleaned it out, and gave a clean bill of health. The readings after they cleaned the outside unit out were perfect and confirmed by 2 companies.

My heater wasn't coming on so I called for service. The service guy who came had a bad attitude. He looked at my thermostat and said I needed a new one and it would be 200. I told him my thermostat was barely used since we had just bought it. He said he didn't care and all I needed to fix my problem was a new thermostat. I paid him the 59.95 for the visit and since I didn't believe that the new thermostat was broken.
I called another technician who told me there was nothing wrong with the thermostat. Apparently there was one wire that was not in the right place. Didn't even take him 5 minutes to diagnose and fix the problem. I do not recommend metro express service to anyone in the area. Makes me wonder if that was too small of a job for him hence him suggesting a new unit.

Bought a $14,000 worth of heating and air conditioning equipment because of the wonderful service plan they have, where you maintain bi yearly check ups with them, if anything goes wrong, they cover labor. I had them out 15 times in two years, everything from a bad compressor out of the box, to a myriad of other issues (how many times do they need to come out to be enough?).
I threw money at them for whatever they said I needed to pay, always believing I was on the original service agreement. They actively and passively denied me the ability to continue the plan. Then after the date came and went, they flaunted on the back of the contract that it's the customers responsibility to renew. This office is a nightmare of incompetence I could fill pages of unbelievable issues with them.
I doubt anyone ever gets a chance to renew anything once they "shoehorn" the sale with this "plan". They then try and give you a free year of the basic plan that no longer covers you for labor. They have it down pat. The kicker is they charged me for a city permit, they never filed or paid the city for my units. They used in house city certified inspectors as well. Who knows what else these guys get away with. Do not trust them.

Pros: -Free second opinion, diagnosis, consultation -Comes out fast, was able to get AC units replaced the next business day -0% interest financing options -Crew that installed the AC units cleaned up after themselves Cons: -Was told I would receive a call a few days after installation to check up on how the units were running. No phone call received, I waited a week and had to call to reach out to see what the status was with the thermostat that wasn't installed on installation day -Tech arrived 46 mins late to install the thermostat and check up
