In my opinion a company that has been called 3 times to get a quote over the past month and a half and given 2 of the office staff the information needed and never recieved a call back from a sales rep or owner, will never be used by me. In my opinions If I can't trust them coming up with a quote how can I trust them with my unit.

We highly recommend Faught Service Company. The people we worked with were very knowledgeable, honest, fair, and helpful. They showed up on time and communicated well with us. Faught Service Co. installed a new condenser for our home air conditioner. We discussed various options with Brandon and his father, Don (the company owner), and they listened well to our concerns and helped us understand the options.
We never felt pressured and appreciated that they were trying to fix the issue, not trying to maximize their profits. The air conditioner works great now! We would definitely call on them again for air conditioning or heating needs. They are good people!

I noticed an intermittent error code popping up on my thermostat and after getting the run around from another company, I called Faught. Bonnie answered and was so incredibly patient and helpful. In one brief phone call she was able to give me more information than the other company could after several games of phone tag AND a visit to my home. Bonnie checked my warranty status, looked up the error code I was having, and offered to have a technician check it out same day.
Since it's intermittent, I couldn't replicate it for someone to see it that day and luckily it hasn't popped up again. While no one in Texas is excited about their AC going out, I do look forward to working with Faught whenever I happen to find myself in that position.

We had Faught Service Company replace our ancient HVAC system - after getting some quotes, their prices were very good. We also really liked Brandon, who's clearly very knowledge; I'd read about things like duct leakage, air exchange, thermostat options etc and he helped us understand which factors matter in our house. The crew who did the actual installation were also excellent - polite, professional, careful to protect the floors as they moved heavy HVAC equipment, and they left the house immaculate.

Our AC went out recently (on a Sunday naturally) called Faught Service Company (been a customer for years) and needed to replace our outdoor unit '05 & indoor unit '93. We had planned on being pro-active by replacing the entire system this coming February. Bottom line, they were absolutely awesome! Customer service (Bonnie Faught), sales (Brandon Faught) and Service techs (Robert & Daniel) we're off the charts good.

I have been using Faught for years to service my existing A/C and had been very pleased with their service. This spring it was time to replace the 24 year old unit. I ended up using Faught again for installing a new unit and could not be more pleased with the experience. I had never before purchased a new central A/C so I did a lot of research and had lots of questions.
My sales rep Brandon Faught spent over an hour patiently listening to, and answering all my questions. Once I made the purchase decision, Brandon told me in detail what would happen next and when. Everything happened exactly as he said it would. I have a great new A/C system which is far quieter than the old one and I got it at a good price.

My eleven year old AC& Heating system totally broke down in a possible way along with its ducting network. I purchased a brand new complete HVAC system and heating system from Faught AC Servicing Company. Besides installing the two systems, Faught also customized the complex ducting network to improve the efficiency of the whole systems. From the beginning of the project, purchasing, installation of the equipment to the completion etc. Faught Co. explained clearly every step of the project.
From the owners, managers, business staff, to technical crews, they are knowledgeable, pleasant to work with, courteous and friendly. Especially the technical crews, they are competent, thorough and focused to details. They showed their respect to my property using shoe covers, cover our wood stairs, carpet floor with appropriate coverage. They always used face masks and followed closely the government guidelines to prevent any health risks of Covit-19. disaster.

Our 23 year old Lennox was working fine, but we knew it was just a matter of time before it passed away, and we didn't want that time to be mid august, so we decided to get some replacement estimates. We contacted a number of service companies and most were pushing Carrier or Trane as replacements. Brandon Faught came to our house the next day for an estimate, he recommended Lennox, but I never felt pressured either way.
Why change what's been working so well, for so long, we wanted a more energy efficient model. So we went with the Lennox Elite series, an upgrade from what we had, with the variable speed blower and the E30 icomfort wifi/Alexa friendly thermostat. We could not be happier. It is so quiet when running. Brandon was pleasure to work with, answering all of my questions, and there were a lot of them, even late at night.
His install team were prompt, clean, efficient and a pleasure to work with as well. They protected the flooring, answered all of my questions, and vacuumed up when they were done. All completed within 6 hours after arriving. That included blowing in more insulation to bring it up to code. It was nice not having to find another company to add insulation. I do not normally give reviews, but since I received such exceptionary service, a review is necessary. After 25 years my AC stopped working. I checked around with neighbors/friends and Faught Service was recommended. I called and they immediately checked the system for me and identified the problem. I briefly considered repairing it, but decided to completely replace the HVAC due to the aged condition.
I couldn't be more pleased with the professional service, the equipment, etc. The workers worked hard and made sure that the work was completed at a high level of competence. It seemed that extra effort and time given to make the whole process relatively painless. Ah. Austin heat and nice cold AC. Life is good! Thank you!

This is a review of my experience from start to finish with FSC. 2018. It was time to replace and upgrade a 16 year old HVAC system. It was working okay but I knew it didn't have much life left. I was not in an urgent situation so I had time to shop and interview. Having done a lot of research I knew I wanted a Lennox high sear system. There were quite a few HVAC companies that sold Lennox and I took proposals from several.
I went with Faught. Their price was not the lowest but they impressed me with the details they brought up regarding their installation. I expressed that there could be more AC in the master bath (as the lady of the house had mentioned a "few times!"). They recommended replacement of the 4" duct (which ran off a multi line junction). They ran a dedicated (direct from plenum) 6" duct to the master bath.
They threw it in with no up charge. That made the deal for me. The install was great. It included dampers on the main ducts so I can customize air flow to various regions as needed. I need more flow to the front of the house during the holidays because we host a lot of family and church gatherings. The contract included a filter at one year and a complete inspection / evaluation at two years.
That inspection was just completed. I expected a brief visit with minimal feedback. The tech spent more than an hour. Tested line pressure inside and out. Spent 20 minutes thoroughly cleaning the outside unit. Fired up the heater and checked that system. He went to every register in the house and checked for carbon monoxide. He left me with a detailed report. The system works great. Incredibly responsive and great customer service! Faught Service Company really know their stuff and did a great job helping us understand the different tradeoffs of all the options. At the time that the unit was installed, we didn't yet have internet service, but once we set it up, Brandon was kind enough to come back and help us configure our new thermostat. We really appreciated how flexible these guys were with our options and how quick they were to answer questions and get the new unit installed. Highly recommend!

Faught Services installed a new furnace and air handler at my home three months ago. So far so good! They were very responsive through out the bidding and installation processes; additionally, they explained the issues the saw in my old system and provided several different solutions, featuring different efficiencies and dollar amounts. I plan to use use Faught for my preventative maintenance as well because I trust that the will take care of my system and my home.

Priceless customer service! Consistent over many years, my house and my mom's. My mom actually found them and (shhhhh, don't tell anyone, but.) a few years ago I got a new AC/heating system installed and got two bids. The "other guy" turned out to be a former Faught employee and he told me his new firm couldn't compete with Faught's bid.
I really appreciated his bid anyway (it didn't) and yes, went with Faught, no regrets years later. Today, Phillip just left our house, with a new thermostat installed we chose because I wanted low-tech, AC checked for the year, and our contract signed for the heat check later this year. Triple bonus points to Phillip for noticing our young violinist practicing, mentioning his own guitar-playing interest since a kid himself, and then providing me a thumbs up on the guitar I've been looking at to buy for her on-line.

My air conditioner died Wednesday night. Thursday morning, looking at reviews on Yelp, I called one company who promised to be out by 2 PM that day. He did come out and when informed my condenser is on the roof, said he doesn't climb on roofs and left. I spent a frantic hour calling various companies, big and small--some couldn't send anyone, some said they could not schedule me until next week, some wanted to charge me after-hours rates, etc. Checking "nextdoor.com" I called Faught and they promised to squeeze me in Friday afternoon. The technician came as promised, replaced a blown part, and everything was working in under 45 minutes. Faught has themselves a new customer!

I replaced both HVAC units in my house. As they say, HVAC costs 3rd highest in the line (house, car, HVAC.). Costco Lennox rebate program does not work in Austin. I reviewed up to 8 contractors (Lennox, Carrier). While Carrier was cheaper, I ended up going with Faught Services. I chose to go with 4 ton and 2 ton X25 Lennox units. Faught Services folks installed well in 2 days and did a great job (finished install today). Attic space work is clean and looks good and the units are doing well.
Many thanks to Brandon and crew for working diligently. Even though not the cheapest option, felt that I got the best value (top of the line systems and extensive work to replace plenums etc). I am impressed with their 3 year labor warranty coverage as well. Hope that these systems will last for long time. It seems like best time to replace HVAC during winter

These guys are amazing! Focused, professional, and detail-oriented, their work is clearly high-quality. We had to replace our entire HVAC system and with an investment like that you want to make sure you are in capable hands. The guys at Faught explained everything clearly and carefully, gave us options and recommendations, and helped us to get the most rebates possible from manufacturers and the city rebate programs.
The workers who came into our house over the course of the replacement were courteous and professional at all times and were super-careful about protecting our floors and other belongings. I would absolutely work with them again.

We have been using Strand Bros, they said we needed a new a/c heating system (ours is very old). We decided to get a second opinion/quote. Faught recommended they test the system before replacing it and discovered our system had been wired wrong and only ran on the low setting. (The bad wiring was the fault of a handyman not either a/c company.) However, for 5 years of servicing our system, Strand never noticed that when they were testing our system it wasn't running properly nor switching to high speed for that testing. Faught replaced our thermostat, got the system running properly and topped up the Freon for about $600 vs the $9k Strand wanted. The quote process with Faught was excellent also, with knowledgeable technicians. I highly recommend them!

Came on time and the tech was knowledgeable getting my AC back up and running. Problem is they charged $235 for a capacitor which is a common part found online for literally $2. That's as in two hundred plus for a part that cost two dollars. Crazy expensive mark up on the part PLUS another $104 for the service call itself. $339 for thirty minutes on site to un plug and plug in a replacement part. Bottom line is in my experience with Faught if cost is no big deal to you call them, but they are expensive and may gouge you.

This is the second time we have had someone come out to help with our ac/heater needs this year. Totally impressed with both technicians and the level of care they gave us. They fixed our air conditioner the first time this summer and this morning it was our upstairs heater. Both are almost 25 years old and we are getting close to replacement - but until then, these small repairs will get us by. And when it comes time for new units, I know where I will go. Called on a Sunday after a week of suffering without AC on the bottom floor due to what I thought was a fried Lennox thermostat. Paul called me right back and asked me to check a couple things myself--float switch, etc. Turned out it it had shut itself off after a power outage and just needed to be turned off and back on at the closet switch. Paul was nice and accommodating, and most of all seemed to sincerely want to help instead of turning it into an expensive service call, which he could have done. Thanks, Faught!

Almost like clockwork, the A/C failed on my condo as soon as my home warranty expired. Faught installed a new one based on my square footage (which wasn't a lot) and energy costs. They came out every 6 months for heating and AC checkups. When I eventually moved, I stayed with Faught and they service even what they did not install. Their communication is impeccable; they give me options and recommendations; and any time a rebate is available from either Uncle Sam or the City of Austin, they fill out everything for me. Honestly, you can't go wrong with a locally owned company who cares about their reputation.

Faught is amazing! They determined my AC needed to be replaced and we set a date for the new installation. When my AC conked out five days before that (on the hottest day of the year), Faught rearranged the schedule to install my new AC the next day. What service -- and what a relief from the heat! I couldn't recommend Faught more highly -- for their professionalism, responsiveness, and fantastic customer service.

Faught's man kept the appointment to provide an estimate. He had no ladder, but used mine to make a minimal inspection. He made another appointment to deliver the estimate the next day. A couple hours after the agreed time, he called and left voicemail that he would not be able to make it that day. I did not respond and he did not follow up. If this is how they behave when trying to make a sale, I do not want to depend on their support after the sale.

Faught has been my HVAC company for several years. They first helped me with an energy efficient Lennox XC21 system for my upstairs, and I just had them replace an older inefficient system downstairs with another Lennox XC21 system. They offered a great price and made all the rebates easy for both systems. In fact, I like their service so much that I hired them again to install a HVAC system in my detached 3 car garage! The service guys are friendly and professional, and they clean up after themselves too. Always been fast and fair on service work too! I'm a Faught fan!

Faught Service Company just finished cleaning up mess that resulted from my having annual service contract with Allpro Drain and Air Rescue for last several years. Outside unit had never been cleaned and main unit was missing p-trap. So happy to be with a company where service people are paid by the hour instead of by how much they can sell a customer.
I would still be with Allpro if my a/c unit hadn't given out last week. Mark, Allpro's service tech, came out and said my eight year old system was out of warranty. He quoted me a high price to repair and tried to sell me a new system. He was a little too eager to take that 10k out of my pocket though, so although they were "my" a/c company and Texas summer was too close for comfort, I decided to get some additional bids. Dan, the Faught salesperson, came out next day to quote me a new system, but took one look at my existing a/c and said (contrary to what Mark had told me) that I was still under warranty.
He said it would still cost me labor, which just made me smile inside. I gave them the job and, at a fraction of the cost Allpro quoted, I am up and running again. I cancelled my annual contract with Drain and Air Rescue and signed up with Faught. Since they were already at my house replacing a part, to be extra safe, I had them repeat my semi annual maintenance service, even though Allpro had just done it a month ago. That's when they found the general lack of upkeep. Sheesh.
I say again, I think it is the difference between having a tech who is paid by the hour and one who is paid to sell you stuff. This seems to be a truism for many industries. Small businesses in particular seem to be either service oriented and take care of you properly, like the owner Bonnie and her entire Faught Service organization did, or they try to make as much money off you as they can, which discourages true "service" and encourages the dishonesty and the generally poor service that I experienced with Allpro Drain and Air Rescue.

We had them come over for an energy audit. They claimed that there were no energy rebates except an entirely new heating and cooling system that would cost 14k. (It turns out there are lots of other rebates). Then when I asked to have them send me a bid for the job they never did. Obviously they didn't want out business and we went with another company. I was very disappointed.

They clearly explained what they do and do not cover, and helped us figure out a schedule that worked for everyone.
