Like they were never here. Five-zone ductless AC was fully installed in less than a day, and with minimal impact to the look of my house. The crew was professional, friendly, and patient, and took the time to instruct me on the use of the units and controllers. They also kindly helped me remove an old window unit that was extremely heavy. All around great job.

Called bc 3 ton unit was low on 410. Tech came on time to tell me unit would need about 7-9 lbs.of 410. $240/lb. Plus $279 to put blue dye in the system to just find a possible leak. Total $1300. Told him to have a nice day. On the way out he tells me my unit is 11 years old. I said thanks. Called another A/C company, they came and filled unit with 410 and charged me $175. For $1300 I could fill the system every year for the next 7 years.

I recently had Sunray Services install a central A/C system in my house. I couldn't be more happy with the outcome. Eric quickly responded to my inquiry, opposed to other A/C services, and we had the install scheduled in no time. The team, (Felix, Jay, Omar, Anthony and Matt) showed up on time and the install went on without any issues. I work from home, so I was worried about noise.
Besides the initial drilling and cutting in the morning, I really couldn't tell they were there (so thank you). I thought the install would take much longer, but to my surprise, it was completed earlier than expected. I would without a doubt recommend Sunray Services to someone looking for an A/C install.

Extremely Late and unprofessional. Caveat emptor! Be aware of this company! The company was late. The employee (Dan) went on a pathological tirade after hearing a conversation between family members questioning their integrity and professionalism. When calling to report the problem, Jamie, the company's staff, had dogs and other animals in the background, which prevented clear communication. Horrible service. I will be reporting to consumer affairs in addition to BBB. Be very careful when using this outfit.

After interviewing several different A/C companies I selected Sunray Services.and I feel like I hit the jackpot! From the very beginning to the very end the entire company was polite, professional and clean - and unbelievably NICE! They take incredible pride in their work! If I had it to do all over again I wouldn't change a thing.and that is not usually my response after completing a job. I am so happy with the service I received. My water heater failed overnight, woke up to flood and of course no hot water. I called Sunray at 7am and their service answered and took my information. I got a call back right away and had a tech at my house before 9am! Got a very reasonable quote and due to my situation, they were able to fit me in and they started the job not more than 2 hours later.
By mid afternoon all was done and working perfectly. Mike and the other technician was great, friendly, professional, honest, and I am so appreciative that they got the job done the same day!

Called this company for emergency service - we had no heat. Oil in tank, burner nor firing. It was a Saturday and snowing. I called because the ad stipulated emergency service, and I was willing to pay the additional costs involved. The fellow that answered the emergency call told us to call another company, he was not going out in the snow. Very nasty! Not recommended at all.

I had Sunray install a new heating system, Hot Water Heater, Central AC and a complete electrical upgrade. The service from the initial estimate through completion was amazing. They were on time and the entire crew was very polite, helpful and explained everything they were doing. They completed all the work on time and everything was done very neatly.
They gave me different options for the vent work and made everything I needed done to work. When they were done they cleaned up completely and made sure we were completely satisfied. We purchased a new heating/ac unit and tankless water heater from Eric at Sunray 3 years ago. The installation was smooth, techs were knowledgeable, experienced, friendly, and worked clean. I have the service plan which includes summer and winter checkup, which gives us peace of mind for the upcoming season. I highly recommend the company and products we purchased. No upselling or pressure with the purchase.

The $250 service call to Sun Ray to fix our Rheem Central air conditioner was a complete waste of money. The service man quickly looked at our machine and told us why it would take many weeks to get the parts, although they advertise that they have them in stock. He then tried to convince to buy an entirely new Bosch unit that would be not just for the air conditioner, but a replacement for our heating system, which we absolutely did not need.
We tried to get information on just an air-condition system, but the most they would offer as to install the cooling AND heating unit, but not connect the heating unit. Why spend all that extra money? They were not interested in repairs, just sales.

I had a problem with my central air. I called Sunray to come and take a look. I had been thinking about replacing my system with a new one because my 3 ton unit was about 16 years old and the newer systems are more efficient. My house gets really hot in the summer. So they came out and within seconds he took the cover off the outside unit and showed my how the compressor was drawing high current witch indicated a short.
I know about these things because I work in electronics. The tech was very professional and knew his stuff. So I asked him how much would it be to replace my outdoor unit and the air handler in my attic. He made a call and gave me two quotes with the slightly higher one of course being the more efficient model. I made up my mind and went with the more efficient system Did the paperwork and down payment right then at that moment and then waited for a call to schedule the install.
I was lucky and the install was set for two days after. They came and installed the system in like 3hrs.wow. Really great group of guy's. They covered the floors and were very neat. they will be my AC guy's from now on. Professional, Friendly, Knowledgeable, and what a system. Love my new Rheem AC unit. Much quieter outside than my last one and when you have the thermostat set to continuous fan operation, it sounds like it shuts off and stops circulating the air when it reaches temperature, but what it's doing is slowing the fan down to where you cant hear it but it's actually still on so it saves energy.wow. My last unit didn't do that and the outside unit was also much louder then this new one. Very happy customer.

My air conditioner was not working for a few days and I couldn't get a company to come out as they were all booked. My friend recommended Sunray Services to me as she advised me of her wonderful experience with them. I couldn't agree more! I needed to replace my twenty year old HVAC systems in my home. One system was for my top floor where I was having issues with my AC and the other unit was for my first floor. Both were builder installed and needed upgrading. Sunray came highly recommended from a friend who used them and was very happy. I called and spoke with Eric who is an owner operator.
He came to my house and recommended a system that would work well for me. A week later his install team showed up. They were on time and professional. They were happy to answer all my questions. Upon completion they cleaned up and fully explained how to work the thermostat and change out the HEPA filter. I am very happy with my new systems. Both quality and price were very good. I will recommend them to others.

5 Stars / First Class all the way. Sunray was very responsive, competitively priced and extremely professional. My personal experience was one of extreme urgency since my AC broker in the middle of the summer and they came for an estimate and scheduled my install immediately. From the office communication to the technicians that came to my house, it was a great experience from start to finish. I'll be using Sunray going forward for all my AC and heating needs. "24 hr service". I called this company(before reading reviews) about my HVAC system that was leaking through the ceiling. I told them I needed immediate service and to send someone early in the morning to repair the leak. They said they would call me early in the morning to send someone. Luckily I called another company just in case. Never got that call back from this company. I later read the reviews and it made sense. They're very irresponsible and unreliable.

I called them and before they came I asked them how much they charge. It was $150.00 an hour. I agreed. They were here for a little over two hours. I got a bill for $950.00. They are very dishonest and nasty. I tried to talk to the owner. He said it was an emergency. No emergency! think twice about using them. They are not an honable company to deal with. Please spread the word to help other homeowners before they get ripped off. Just my opinion!

A truly professional and top notch experience from A to Z. This family run business has lived up to every expectation I had. They did a brand new install for me during a heat wave when my AC stopped working. Someone came over within hours and gave me a fair price and delivered, and installed, the new unit 3 days later. I was extremely impressed with Sunray. From the initial sale's call through final installation of my new AC unit, the company provided everything as promised. Their professionalism, punctuality, and reliability made the process very smooth and was second to none. Sunray worked as quickly as possible (within a week) to provide us with a new AC unit to ensure that we would be cool for the upcoming summer. Mike and his installation team were excellent as they maintained a clean work environment, were very polite and respectful. I was extremely disappointed with this company. They came out for an initial repair/service after we had difficulties installing a nest thermostat. They came out and worked on the unit but were not able to get it operational. They informed us that they would be returning to finish the repairs. For almost 2 weeks I kept trying to schedule a follow. up appointment for them to complete the job.
Four times in two weeks the response I got was "we are waiting on pricing". Finally the last time I called they informed me that they would be there on Thursday between 8am and 1pm. Come Thursday at 1pm my wife called to see if they were coming and they said we did not have an appointment. I called them.

You could have to best product going. if you don't have customer service, your not going to last very long. I used this company almost 25 years ago. I recently used them again. HORRIBLE. Do not use this company. They charged for a maintenance contract on a GAS BOILER, which has not maintenance. When asked to show up for a repair, they could not show up timely and when they did, they said they did not know anything about the boiler we had (even though they contracted for it) and would get back to us. If you schedule maintenance or a repair, good luck. They cancel repeatedly, over and over. Truly the worst service company you could use.

Do not use this company unless you have money to throw out. I am $3000 into repairs on my heating system that still does not work properly. We have a contract w them which literally means nothing. They guaranteed that my last $900 repair would take care of everything and now my house is 80 degrees with thermostats set to 68. I explained my autistic. sons health issues and they DID NOT CARE.
They told me to just keep the system on. I guess when it goes up to 90 and he passes out they will come take him to the ER during COVID? Terrible that no one cares about their reputation anymore.

Wish I had read the reviews before calling this company. Like other reviews say, they don't itemize the bill and charge $229 just to walk in your house. The problem turned out to be an $11 water line that needed to be switched out on my humidifier. Job takes 5 minutes on you tube video. Charged me $352. When I realized all this I tried to cancel and at least only be out the $229.
They refused and said I'd be charged the whole amount because they ordered the part. Why don't businesses learn that the way to build a clientele is to be fair and charge HONEST prices. Call someone else.

This company is horrible do not hide them reading the reviews i should never had hide then. i had problems with my Ac a few weeks ago they come a check we told then we have water by the water pump and they dont wven check that they told us we have problems with the cooler thats right the water was there okay we are not experts they did something different okay suppose fux the problem a week later my air conditioning had problems again i called then and the nasty girls who answer the phone told me they going to charge us again just to see what was the problem. i undestand but they didn't do their job correctly the girls hang up the phone on me i ask can i speak with a manager they told me he wasn't there okay. we dont care we can paid to fix the problem i dont want to hear all the bull shit from this girls if we come we have to cahrge for a diagnosis and for showing up. we paid almost $900 dollars a week ago why i have to paid for then just to showing up again. i called a different company last week and rhey fix it they dont give a hart time or charhe me for showing up the problem was the pump we replaced and we are good now.save your money and find some one who is not going to scam you. people who come to ur house they are not professionals. *ps this is luisa Hattermann.

After my electricity came back on after the recent storm I had no A/C. Called Sunray who diagnosed it as a blown circuit board in the furnace. Took out a service contract for 345, All parts were under warranty and they wanted $1100. to replace the circuit board which the technician told me would take an hour. Called Gallett Air in W. Babylon. They diagnosed the same thing and recommended replacing the motor as well.
All parts still covered under warranty and they're charging me $475. to install both circuit board and motor. And that's without a service contract! Called Sunray back and whoever answered said that their fee is their fee. Rarely do I write a post like this but just felt I had to this time. Wished I had read all the negative one star reviews first before calling Sunray!

During a heatwave my central air conditioner stopped working. I had used Sunray in the past but that was long ago. Service technician arrive promptly and was professional. He diagnosed a blown fan motor. He said the office would schedule the follow up service. I paid $249. The next morning I spoke with someone in the office who said the project still needs to be priced out.
She wasn't sure if it would be priced out that day. I waited until the afternoon to ask for an update. I was told they were still waiting for a project cost. I persisted and put me on hold. I was then given an outrageous quote without a commitment that they could secure the need part. I had to call Air Max to schedule service. Airmax arrived the next morning and made the repair for $600 less. I strongly recommend Air Max.

Christmas 2019 my oil burner puffed back. I called Home Depot and Sunray came to the rescue. Its now November 2020 and I'm finally getting the oil burner replaced. There were 5 or 6 workers doing the installation; they were like a surgical team. Each worker had his specialty (or so it seemed). Sunray also installed the hot water heater. Highly recommend.

Ripoff, charge $99 for visit and $129 for diagnostic. Once you are $200+ invested the estimate to change a pump was $1475 which was as much I paid to install an entire hot water heater. I got the feeling that the $219 for the visit and diag was good enough for them, heck it was less than an hours work. I should have known any reliable business would not charge more than $200 bucks up front. Got the work done from an honest business for a 1/4 of the price. Very bad business practices.

Would not recommend. We contracted for Sunray Systems to provide and install new A/C units plus a new high energy heating system. It had a 5 year warranty -- some parts even listed as 15 years. Starting that winter, the heating system would shut itself off on very cold days. We called them back many times. but the answer was always the same -. they could see nothing wrong with it, except that it shut itself down.
We lived through a few seasons of this - waking up to a cold house and manually resetting the switch. Luckily we had no winter vacations planned or we might have had some frozen pipes! In 2011 (five years almost to the day), the system shut itself down and this time would not.

Had and air handler put in with a heat coil. The installers that came seem to know nothing about what they were doing. Never got any kind of paperwork in the mail about what was covered or anything about the finance option I got through them until a collection agency called me and said I was late on the bill. Horrible!

My ductless air conditioning unit was not working properly. Sun Ray was called in to fix it. When the Tech showed up he was very professional but unable to figure out what the problem was. He said he needed to call tech support. The charge: $400 per hour. It was late so he left and said the office will call the next day. Nobody called and when I called them they told me tech support was closed for the weekend. After getting someone else in I learned tech support only costs $200 per hour and they did not even need tech support to fix it. Sun Ray is a rip-off. AVOID!

I just moved into a new home and it was sorely in need of new heating, air conditioning and a water heater. They just completed installing all three items and we could not be happier. They showed up on time, performed the installation without a flaw and cleaned up after themselves. On top of that they were a very courteous group as well as very professional. The cost seemed reasonable and the treatment we received was first class. Don't hesitate to call on them for your needs in this area.

On May 22, someone from your company came to my home for an estimate on a replacement CAC unit. I misplaced his card and do not recall his name. He was very polite, and said he would get back to me in a day or two. I waited a week, and called the office again for a call back. As of today, I still have not received a response. I don't understand this business practice. If you didn't want my business, at least have the courtesy to let me know. I have lost 2 weeks waiting, and have moved on to another company. Very poor customer service.

You may not have heard of these guys, they are not the biggest on Long Island but they are reliable and honest. Had a big problem with my air conditioning. I called, they came over and took care of the problem. These guys were fabulous. No run around, no up-sell -- straight forward and all fixed. I would use these guys for my air conditioning and heating any time.

Usually these guys are great but they just lost a lot of respect from me (and maybe my contract renewal), we have had a yearly service contract with them every year since we got the central AC unit in our home. I called yesterday that AC had gone out - talked to a woman and she said that they would send someone from 8 am to 1 pm. I called at 1 when no one had showed up.
They had no idea who I was, it felt like my name never made it on the list. The woman on the phone says that I was now in the 1 - 6 pm service window. No explanation no apology! I asked to be put first in the 1 - 6 pm window and she tells me that it does not work like that (nice right?). Then she tells me that they are down two techs for the day (totally understandable) but didn't they know that at 8 am this morning and why not notify all the clients waiting on the list. Ridiculous that people that you pay a yearly service contact to would treat a loyal long paying customers this way.

I cant say enough about Sunray Services. I reside in a condo with all electric heat. My Heating/AC ran continuouly and our electric bills were through the roof. I knew I needed a new unit. The salesman Eric showed up, assessed and suggested I go with a high efficiency unit which I did. My bills immediately were cut into 3rd. We had rebates and incentives for the purchase which drove the price of the unit down too. Needless to say this new unit works great and keeps our home nice and cozy on the coldest days and real cool in the summer. Sunrays service remains unsurpassed with yearly servicing. Their service men are always neat and curteous. I give them 5 out of 5 stars.
