What started as a great experience with Harvest devolved into broken promises and poor customer service. I had a system installed in late 2019. I told the salesman, John, I needed enough panels to not only cover my current electric needs but also enough to cover adding an air conditioner to my daughter's room down the road. I was told before installation that my roof needed to be replaced. John said a few boards of roof decking likely also would need to be replaced.

On the day of installation, I get a knock on my door and walk out to find my roof completely torn off, decking and all. I was told I needed all new decking and it would add thousands to the cost of the project. I was annoyed that the possibility of full decking replacement was never mentioned during the negotiation process, but Harvest did knock down the cost per panel of plywood so I was OK with it in the end.

The much bigger issue is I was told my system would produce more than enough to cover all my current and future electric needs. I specifically stated that I wanted $13 PSEG bills ever month to guarantee the best price for my home when we sell it in a few years. I was told this wouldn't be a problem. The system would produce much more than needed. Fast forward two and half years later.

We haven't installed an air conditioner yet in my daughter's room and my system isn't even producing enough to support my current electric needs (which by the way haven't changed because of the pandemic. I've worked from home for the last 13 years.) A year ago Harvest told me that if my system still wasn't producing enough by 2022, they would add new panels to the system.

Of course, I'm thinking they would cover the cost of that since I never would have purchased a system that didn't wipe out my PSEG bills besides $13-14 unavoidable monthly bills to remain connected to the PSEG system. When I reached back out to Harvest this January to inform them that my system continued to underproduce, I assumed they would do their best to remedy the situation.

Instead all I've heard are various excuses as to why my panels aren't producing enough. Find a company that will stand behind their work and make things right if promises are broken. Harvest is not one of them.

Harvest Power has been great! Mark Lieberman was our salesman and he was very accommodating from the beginning until the end. He is very knowledgeable and worked with us and our contractor during our renovations. He was able to set up the install so that electrical wiring was all done inside the walls. The panels were then installed and although there was a minor issue he quickly rectified it. The solar panels look great and we can't wait to start saving money! Highly recommend Harvest Power!

I had added more solar panels to my old system. that went well, but when I didn't get any TREC's, I contacted Harvest. they sent another State form to fill out. I filled it out and the state rejected it saying it was duplicate. I have been going back and forth with the state. I asked for help from Harvest multiple times. it's like they fell off a cliff. I'm not getting any help from them

I've had my panels from Harvest Power for several years. When one of my panels went dark I called service. I was told that the micro inverter needed to be ordered and replaced. I expected to wait about a month due to the problems with imports, supply chain, etc. Not more than 1 week later they called to schedule service and the technician showed up the next day.

Another problem developed and again, prompt efficient response and the whole system is back up and running just as great as before. Don't just get solar: Get a reliable company who will be there when something goes wrong, and it will. Harvest Power promised and they deliver.

My whole experience dealing with Harvest Power icw the Solar Panel Installation at my residence was excellent. I would especially like to recognize the support I received from Mark Lieberman who took me through the design of the system, expectations of system output and explanation of the installation contract. He also listened to my concerns about the best possible placement of the solar cabinets and was able to revise preliminary designs to meet my requirements.

Purchased 19 panel solar system from Mark Liberman. He came to my house in Oct. 2021 He explained system choices including pricing and financial choices. I also had two other companies come with similar offers. I then decided to go with harvest power based on the system offered and price. System was installed in one day in Nov. The installation went fairly smooth.

Mark was readily available as well as team of people who work at harvest that assisted to answer any questions. After installation waited around 1 m for pto ( permission to operate ).At this time system has been working normal with no issues.

Run away from this company. I don't know what happened, but they are not the company they once were. As part of a renovation, we hired them to remove and re-install the system they installed several years ago. Cost was expensive, but comparable to others. The first set of techs sent to re-installed the system had no idea what they were doing and wired everything wrong, blowing out our inverter.

They then proceeded to try to fix the issues 10 more times, breaking more equipment along the way (blowing out a second inverter). In fact each time a new set of techs showed up, no one could understand how it was wired, their words not mine. We lost 3 months of peak solar production and when I fought for reimbursement i was told no by the owner, because it was "equipment malfunctions".even though they couldn't figure out the problem(s) for months that they caused.

Not to mention, while this dispute was ongoing they sent a collections agency after me without prior notice. This is how they treat long term customers. Like I said, you have options, run away from this company.

I had my panels installed by Harvest Power. everything seemed to go smoothly. everything is running well. BUT I contacted them after I was hit by a large chunk of snow that slid off the panels as I stepped outside last winter. I asked them about snow guards. they SAID they would get back to me. I called 3 more times - each time I was told SOME ONE would get back to me. NO ONE ever called me back. still. and a new winter is coming. NOW it was time for my town inspector to come.

He came and saw there was no emergency shut off installed. He told me to call my installation company. I called, and was told that SONE ONE would get back to me to schedule this. no one did. I called again after a few weeks. was told the same thing and once again, no one called me back. I plan to call every single day now. hopefully SOME ONE will schedule this AND shop up to install it! Otherwise. who else can install an emergency shut off switch? I need to pass the inspection! Will I be given fines? I don't know. But they DID give me a deadline to get this installed. but NO ONE from Harvest Power returns my calls!

A little over a year ago went live with a 28 panel installation. Very happy with the job overall and it's power generation. Should pay back in 7 - 10 years [I have a fairly large house and run A/C and pool all summer]. Had Jeff as the salesman who was very knowledgeable and seamed honest [I've dealt with a lot of salesman in my business that I wouldn't say that about].

The job was completed very cleanly and generally timely. I did have an issue with a low producing panel, after some weather, staffing, and testing issues the panel was eventually replaced and working fine. May have taken a little longer and my pushing the issue than it should have but In generally I did like the installation and Harvest Power and would recommend them again.

It was a great experience working with John he gave us all the information we needed. We are very happy John knock on our door. He is honest and very professional John made the transition to go solar with Harvest Power very easy. Everyone was friendly and informative. The price is right and it will pay for itself. We are extremely happy with the purchase and strongly recommend our friends if the go solar call John from Harvest Solar LLC.

Could never get them to return my calls. We needed a new roof was told it was done by them but it was done by another contracting company. Took a beautiful tree down was told we would get full coverage still do not have full coverage. Was told we would get full rebate at tax time. We only received a portion this year some next year then more the year after. What a pain. Sales guy was just that a sales guy. Wasn't happy with service I still pay the same in electric
