Fayette Furnace

There's two sets of people that work at this company: The workers (Service Techs and installers) The office personnel The service techs try to do an honest job while the office is always on the service techs case to "sell more parts" and "charge more" labor time. There's an extreme level of employee turnover here for various reasons, including expressing hostility towards elected public officials and telling their employees to break the law. Before anyone from FF responds, mind your words because I have evidence of this.

The installation teams are a well oiled machine!.installed new ac unit and replaced oil furnace with natural gas, then came back out after a meter was installed the same day I called to pressure test and finish furnace install.jimmy in sales is so knowledgeable and the whole personnel team is very confident in their work! I called to see if they could repair my mother's air conditioner. They said they couldn't get to it that day. I told them my mom is 89 and the house is 83 degrees. They said we will get to it today for her. Not many company's would do that. The repair man was very nice and did a great job. Great people and great service. I will always use them. They worked over to repair it.

Just so others know you will be hit you with a 100.00 house call fee then 150.00 for the first hour of work. Seems to be double dipping on fees. They did fix the furnace in 45 mins. So just to be clear the first hour of work is 250.00

The Rolls Royce of furnace repair. Did a fine job. Charged $100 to drive 5 miles to house and $150 minimum labor so $250 to walk in the door. They answered phone, they arrived to do repair and they did repair, all good. Just be warned - you will pay. Perhaps they should let prospective customers know they will charge them $100 to drive over? The repair was the equivalent of changing a spark plug. If my mechanic charged this way, I'd junk the car

Stuck with no heat. Current outside temperature for April 1 is 27 degrees. Called Fayette Furnace today for furnace not working. They sent a technician, charged $250. Furnace worked briefly then shut off again. Called around 7:00 p.m. SAME DAY and they said we would be charged again for an emergency call. They never fixed the problem in the first place. Don't seem to know what they are doing and once they get paid, no help. Will contact BBB during the next business day. I would never recommend!

I called Fayette furnace out to fix my furnace they charge $100 diagnostic fee. The service guy looke at my furnace and told me which part was bad. Then he tried to sell me the part for $367 so I checked online to see how much the part cost. on Amazon it was $84 so I bought the part and installed it. The new board that I bought was not the problem with my furnace.

So I called them back and asked them if they would waive the hundred dollar fee and come back out and fix my furnace and they would not. So I paid $100 diagnostic fee bought an $84 part that they said was broke, and it wasn't and my furnace is still not working

Been working with Jim for a couple years. Always been fair and honest on multiple properties. Sound advice and takes the time to address your needs. More of a buddy in the business vs salesperson. Why we will keep going back for new projects as well as services.

These guys are great! They sent someone out same day and fixed my outdoor AC unit that wasn't running. Hunter was awesome! Very knowledgeable and personable. He made sure I knew the price before he did any work. Highly recommend! Services: A/C system repair, A/C system maintenance

They did annual service. A Day later AC wasnt cooling. Said there was a leak. paid $451.00! An hour later water on floor. Said it was clogged. Which was part of the annual service. Done the day before! No charge for that. But next day.no AC at all. Breaker tripping. Called for service AGAIN said they would put me on list. Promised to come 2 days later.

When i called they said they did not put me on the list! Josh had a horrible attitude! Could not believe what was happening. I hung up on them. Will NEVER EVER call or use them again. I suggest you do not either. I work hard for my money. All i wanted was good service. Which i did not get!

I didn't like the way my AC system was running and had a feeling something was wrong so I put it in order for a clean and check. When the technician arrived he told me that a diagnostic was a completely separate charge.in the past, and with other companies, that was always part of the check portion of the service. I ended up paying close to $100 for a 5-minute diagnostic and a simple part installed. The technician was very educated and professional but I felt cheated out of my cleaning check.

Fayette Furnace has been servicing our heating/AC unit for many years now. Recently the warranty expired on our furnace and I needed an inducer wheel and minor repairs. Rob H., Technician, explained to me how it worked, what to listen for and how he could fix the problem. He explained everything including the cost for furnace parts and labor. He didn't pressure me to fix it now but shared with me the worse case scenario if I let it go for too long.

I appreciated his candor. He advised me to call the office and talk it over with Dan (aka, "Dan the Serviceman" because there are two guys named Dan in the office.) He was very nice and explained everything from costs to time it would take to get the part then scheduled a repair date. Job well done again by Fayette Furnace so my family and I can stay warm this winter.

Also want to add that this company installed a b-vent and chimney for my new hot water tank last year to ensure I was up to code with the gas company regulations. They do really great work and guarantee the jobs. They've been around a while and treat customers with respect and consideration. Jim and the entire team at Fayette Furnace take pride in the quality of their work and really demonstrate that they care about the customer!

They don't just take your money and run they stick around for years to make certain that whatever type of installations they make keep on working until the customer can afford to upgrade. Give them a try as they seem willing and able to accommodate customer satisfaction.
