Our AC unit would not come on. We had been using Cocalico for a few years now. Jason, the manager, came out and fixed our problem. He actually agreed to do our yearly contract maintenance, which wasn't originally scheduled. We were so pleased he did that, we gave him $40 in cash. He was there on a Friday, late afternoon. On Saturday night, our bathroom light above the mirror fell off the wall.
By Monday, I noticed our bathroom wall was wet. I called Cocalico, after hours, and while on the phone my husband noticed our bedroom ceiling was also wet. Another guy came out. He saw a pipe was leaning, that should have been straight and was dripping. There was no solid reason as to "how" this happened. No one else was up in the attic, except the guy on Friday.
After a few days, I received a call that explained the manager and the after hours guy said there was no way they bumped the pipe and that we owed the after hours service call. There was NO ONE else in our attic. Accidents happen but they didn't want to admit that. I no longer trust them to come in our home. If they would accidentally pump something, they will NOT accept blame for it. It's a shame too because we liked this company prior to this incident and recommended them to everyone. No more.

I don't normally write reviews but we were very pleased with our experience with CPH right from the 1st visit for the estimate (very thorough) to the install. there was a slight accident while working in the attic (these things happen) but i was most impressed with HOW they handled it making sure that they did whatever needed to be done to our complete satisfaction. i would use CPH anytime without hesitation.

Definitely a top notch place. I called yesterday because our pressure tank looked like it was leaking water on the floor. I called CPH yesterday and they made an appointment for this morning at 830. The person came and found out indeed that the pressure tank was leaking. He went to pick up the parts and returned with another person and they had the job finished by shortly after lunch. Good Job, Doug and Jason.

We were looking to replace our heat pump and contacted CPH for a quote. Dale came out, evaluated our needs, made recommendations and provided a prompt and complete proposal. The following week Matt and Dennis arrived right on time, discussed what was going to be done and addressed all of our questions. They were friendly, very professional and respectful of our property.
They did a great job on the install, tested the system, and cleaned up afterwards. The office manager then registered our system with the manufacturer. Bottom line, this was an excellent experience and we would highly recommend this company.

We had water coming thru the ceiling and one call to Cocalico and from the moment I called in until the repair was made it was amazing we were handled, Doug our technician was by far one of the best we have had in our home. Being in the service business myself for a long time it was nice to see that taking care of people is still a priority, thanks again

I've been using CPH for furnace and AC maintenance since I've owned my home. When my water heater started leaking, I submitted a request on their website and someone contacted me within a few minutes. They were able to send out two service technicians the same day and swapped out my bad water heater with a brand new one. While the mess in my basement wasn't convenient, getting my water heater replaced was as easy as can be. I appreciate the quick response and great service to get me back up and running! Office staff and techs are friendly to deal with also.

As a realtor on the buyer's side, we wanted a sewer line inspection completed on a 100 yr old house for a purchase. We hired a home inspector that performed inspections, but he was unable to get his camera through. The sellers then hired cocalico plumbing. An inspection was "performed" with the report stating that there was just a slight bevel in the line and no roots that we were concerned about because of trees in the area. "nothing to worry about, I would buy this house myself." it was scoped all the way to the street that day?
When I asked for the video, 'the technician must have not hit record, none available." We rescheduled for another day. I called their office that morning to confirm the inspection was happening, and was told their camera equipment was broken. Since we were only 2 weeks from settlement, Cocalico subbed another company to come do the inspection. The new company also had issues navigating their camera through the line and had to water jet the pipes to clear the line.
I was astounded by what I saw. I am not a plumber and do not claim to be, but I am sure when you look at the pictures below, any average person could tell the line was not free of tree roots. When I contacted Cocalico plumbing and asked the service manager if he had seen the new video, he had stated he had not. I asked him to please do so and respond to me with some kind of explanation.
That was 45 days ago. 30 days ago I called once again, he had still not viewed the footage and asked me "what I wanted" I wanted an explanation. Please consider this review before hiring this company.

Horrible experience. They said they needed to order a part and that it would be overnighted. Instead, it took 2 days to arrive. Then it was the wrong part! My husband ended up diagnosing the problem and bought the correct piece. All Cocalico did was install it. We were without heat a full 6 days in December. We bought our own part. They still charged $349. For what?

We called Cocalico Plumbing & Heating since we had a leaking bathroom shower/tub faucet. Doug B. repaired the leak quickly and without issue. He was able to research and find the required valve which made this leak a quicker and less expensive repair than we thought it might be. He also applied a "first time customer" discount to our bill. We will be calling Cocalico Plumbing & Heating for our plumbing repair needs in the future. This was a great first time experience with CPH and we appreciate the work that Doug did for us.

Terrible customer service, very overpriced. Technicians that don't have a clue what they're doing. charged me $1000 to fix a clog when in all actuality my pipes were crushed, they will not back their work to correct the situation! I had to have another plumber come 10 days later to fix the actual problem! Don't waster your money on these clowns!

We've been using Cocalico Plumbing for 18 years and have been relatively satisfied with only a few bumps along the way. We had them replace two of our garbage disposals Nov 2017 and the service went very well. Recently we were away for nearly a month. when we return one of the disposals was seized up and would not turn. We called Cocalico and explained the problem.
Instead of telling us how we might try to free up the disposal ourselves they set up a service call. The man came out, took a plunger handle (upside down) and turned the blades a bit. He was very nice and said that rust is sometimes the problem when they sit. It took him only a minute. My husband called Scott and told him we were disappointed that he had not guided us to try this on our own before having to have a service call. But Scott was unwilling to wave the service call. We are disappointed in this greed.

3/22/19 - CPH service tech Doug installed 2 new water heaters today and he did a great job. Why 2? I have a geothermal unit and the 1st tank captures residual heat from the GEO compressor and passes it on to the right tank to take it from whatever degree to 120°. Why CPH? I shopped, and again CPH wasn't the least expensive, but for the few dollars extra and the peace of mind that goes with the quality of their work and the way they stand by that work as well as their products, priceless! There's something to be said for knowing who will show up if ever there's an issue. Thanks Doug and all at CPH!

Cocalico Plumbing and Heating were very helpful. From the initial call setting up the appointment to when the plumber came out. Doug was very informative. He was able to fix everything very quickly and efficient and gave me follow up information on my the type of piping that is in my house. An issues I could see in the future. I would recommend them to anyone that asks.

Overall, what a great experience. The technicians arrived on time, were thorough when explaining the process and completed the job ahead of schedule. Although, they only finished replacing my AC unit today I am completely satisfied with my experience. I did purchase the PMA so hopefully their great service will continue as needed. As a homeowner, replacing systems in your house in not always a confident experience - Mel made it that much easier! I would highly recommend.

Very disappointed. Called them to come out to fix an issue we were having, and instead of exploring where the leak was coming from, once he just looked in 1 spot, he then said I don't know and that was it. Then told us to explore the issue and to call back if we found the issue. Isn't that your job to do? All he had to do was look in another place, but hey, guess he didn't feel like doing his job, and on top of it had to pay $100 for nothing but him to cut a hole out of our ceiling for no reason.

Cocalico Heating did a great job fixing my air conditioner recently when it broke. They were here when they promised, explained what needed to be done, and did it. Did I hate that I needed service? Of course. But they were more than capable at fixing the problem and were nice to deal with. I hope I don't need to call them again, but glad they are there if I need them.
